I don’t remember this story. But that call the dad made to the housekeeper should have ended it. There was screaming in the background during that call, if I’m not mistaken.
But they were specifically calling because, they said, the little boy was very sick, and then that the mother was very sick. It does make sense for a feverish little boy to be yelling about something he doesn't want to do.
Idk. A housekeeper dynamics with a millionaire employee most likely will not end up with them investigating or ask more. It’s simply not their business as they’ve might been told many times before. I'm a little confused about the "assistant" being asked by the boss (husband of the murdered family) to bring a stack of $100 bills totaling $40,000 to be left at the door of the house , was he not suspicious of anything by that request and went with it without alerting anyone? I just found it a little strange Edit: I see, suspicion was raised in the end on this assistant. Unfortunately nothing came of it. She was 57 and could easily be overpowered and tied up. Once he got her then he got Phillip who was home from school up in his room most likely. So that would have been easy. Then Amy came back from Starbucks and he got her. Then he made her call Savvas to come home and once he walked in he was attacked. I have so many questions. The assistant didn’t think it was strange to drop off that amount of money in their vehicle? Had he ran errands like this before? The housekeeper received a text but didn’t actually speak with her boss when she called to confirm the text? Why didn’t she think to phone the police? Why didn’t the assistant call the police/FBI, if that wasn’t the norm for him? Very perplexing case. I’m so sorry for what this family went through at the hands of a demon spawn!
They were held hostage for some hours before brutally murdered. In 1991 in Greece a multiple crime took place, Chryssafidis family murder, which lasted almost six days. With axe and sledgehammer. The killer was never found, in that case. Fortunately, the Savopoulos family murderer was arrested. Both are complete monsters.
When people leave their home country and come to the United States, there NEEDS TO BE A MANDATORY CITIZENSHIP PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION and background check. They must show they are not a threat to American society. This was so unnecessary and tragic. If we DON'T mandate a psych evaluation, then we might be allowing another country's worst criminal types to prey upon us!
I often find myself shaking my head at defence attorneys. Are they that delusional that their client didn’t do it or are they just trying to convince the public (or themselves) that their client is innocent 🤦🏼♀️
The problem is you. They are defense lawyers and their job is to defend their client the best they can. It's principle of laws. When you are charged with something you expect your defence lawyer to do everything to save you. Otherwise just send every criminals to jails without going to trial. The lawyers have feelings they understand the pain because they are parents too but you can't mix emotion to your profession otherwise go be a social worker.
I want to say that the alarm company failed, the pizza guy failed, the guy who delivered the cash failed, the housekeeper failed. This is something that you would never imagine happening to a more humble, hardworking family.
Who delivered the money is involved. How often does,he get calls from his manager to deliver money. And why 40,000 and not millions. He is deeply involved. Replace French doors. Criminals always break glass to gain entry.
Use deadbolts with key-only-on-both sides of the lock (not a twist lock). Someone would have to break all of the panes and the wood/metal holding them together to gain entry. Of course, don't leave the key in the lock, BUT do keep a key nearby that every family member can access in case you need to quickly flee, ie, house fire.

so many suspicious circumstances and none even bothered to call the police? wow!
Some crimes don't deserve a defense. This is one of them.
I don’t remember this story. But that call the dad made to the housekeeper should have ended it. There was screaming in the background during that call, if I’m not mistaken.
Exactly I heard it too
But they were specifically calling because, they said, the little boy was very sick, and then that the mother was very sick. It does make sense for a feverish little boy to be yelling about something he doesn't want to do.
I heard it, too.
Idk. A housekeeper dynamics with a millionaire employee most likely will not end up with them investigating or ask more. It’s simply not their business as they’ve might been told many times before. Unless the call was very unconvincing I dont think he’d alert the police. I dont think many would do it in that circumstances to your distant employer

My best friend died because we didn’t realize he had a blood clot after a long flight. Sometimes after the fact you realize how obvious something was.
So sad lost lives, and the young boy had his whole life ahead of him.
I'm a little confused about the "assistant" being asked by the boss (husband of the murdered family) to bring a stack of $100 bills totaling $40,000 to be left at the door of the house , was he not suspicious of anything by that request and went with it without alerting anyone? I just found it a little strange
Edit: I see, suspicion was raised in the end on this assistant. Unfortunately nothing came of it. In my opinion, that wayne guy was involved but he was set up to take all the fall. The assistant in mho, is definitely involved.
I am also confused, exactly my thoughts too.
Exactly!!!
So, why wouldn't he tell the investigators about his accomplices. Hence, he decided to take all the fall

So many of y’all regurgitate that without having any concept of what Hammurabi’s law actually was. An eye for an eye meant that even if you accidentally caused someone to lose their eye, YOU also lose yours. It was not restricted to premeditated homicides. That’s why it’s not a just system of law, it doesn’t actually take into factor intent, premeditation, anything like that.

They trust that person. The porch. Leaving it on a porch is odd. That makes it questionable. I get it.
This must have been a really personal crime.
I wonder what was the personal reason. They didnt come up with it. Even now. I mean how big was the beef that he had to come back for his boss 5 & 10 years after he was fired? The assistant didn’t think it was strange to drop off that amount of money in their vehicle? Had he ran errands like this before? The housekeeper received a text but didn’t actually speak with her boss when she called to confirm the text? Why didn’t she think to phone the police? Why didn’t the assistant call the police/FBI, if that wasn’t the norm for him? Very perplexing case. I’m so sorry for what this family went through at the hands of a demon spawn!
Hindsight is 20/20
They were held hostage for some hours before brutally murdered. In 1991 in Greece a multiple crime took place, Chryssafidis family murder, which lasted almost six days. With axe and sledgehammer. The killer was never found, in that case. Fortunately, the Savopoulos family murderer was arrested. Both are complete monsters.
We have to get better at evaluating these people and keeping them locked up!
The Dude that dropped off the money didn't think that was odd? Come on!
This was definitely a set-up. I dont think that guy has the IQ to pull this off by himself.
How can one person torture and kill four people?
When people leave their home country and come to the United States, there NEEDS TO BE A MANDATORY CITIZENSHIP PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION and background check. They must show they are not a threat to American society. This was so unnecessary and tragic. If we DON'T mandate a psych evaluation, then we might be allowing another country's worst criminal types to prey upon us!
Indeed. The Greek family came in and did well and worked hard. This criminal was the opposite - should never have been allowed in.

Who delivered the money ...where did he get it. From a bank. It does, not make sense. I read the update of the story. Only 1,person went to jail. What about the rest. The FBI and Police could have done better.
You're a weirdo for blaming the other housekeeper.
