You can do it without the mod, there are some websites that allows you to edit display like using blockbench. It does still work without any other outside help, just extremely tedious.
Axiom is a awesome mod but since this is vanilla and its method, (which is probably the only method), is Entities, it can lag after awhile of adding hundreds of entities, especially in small spaces. Recommended to use some entity-preformance mods if your gonna use this, either way i can see new age of Minecraft mods, Flashback > Replay Mod and Axiom > Worldedit
@@AshLordCurry Yea agreed the mod is awesome and its devs have done amazing mods but Entities can lag the game either way, not the devs fault just kinda a MC preformance thing
If you're going to use mods, you might as well just add Chisel and Bits or a similar mod. Infinitely friendlier on performance, and no z-fighting like is often seen through this video.
It is insane. I've been building for years and I'm tired of the boring use of world edit. This Mod is too beautiful to describe. Thank you so much for that. ❤
The editor mode is personally what I think will revolutionize building since it can be applied to vanilla survival builds and imported from creative as a schematic. Display entities I care less for, not just because they sort of bypass the limitations that forces you to be creative but also because entities are not lag friendly and can't be created in survival.
Display entities don’t actually cause that much lag, and it doesn’t matter that u can’t do it in survival, it’s not like u can use editor mode in survival
@@cakerama Like I said editor mode is still useful in survival because mods like litematica are essentially de-facto megabuild tools. Multiple times now I've designed a build using the Axiom editor tools and then saved a copy as a schematic that I use to replicate it in survival. Axiom is especially powerful in this regard as it allows you to create perfect shapes, gradients, curves, and patterns that are extraordinarily difficult or even impossible to create when freehanding in survival or vanilla creative.
For clarification axiom is a mod that allows easy editing of huge amounts of blocks or place blocks that ussually require a lot of setup such a block displays which are a vannilla minecraft thing but you need to use huge commands to relocate these block displays and axiom makes it easier to do that, after building even if you remove the mod everything stays the same as all axiom does is make it easier to execute commands visually. Everything axiom does can also be done in vanilla with update suppression and such things... So yes he uses a mod but everything the mod does is vanilla
the same devs made a replay mod but 10x better and easier its called flashback, even i who dont know anything abt editing, camera placing and stuff, can make some cinematic stuff with it its called flashback (for fabric 1.20+) Edit : did i tell you the mod's name was flashback ?
This is pretty much a revolution as it's essentially moving in real time..while with world edit it more or less trial and errors until it's in the right position
"Done in Vanilla with this MOD" 👀 Great video bro, Axiom is amazing. I recommend checking out Flashback as well. It's like replay mod but made by the same people who created Axiom. Much better than Replay
Acctualy, A mod called Little Tiles can also do same things but instead of menus like Axoum it uses vannila features to do this. An advantage of little tiles is that if u make custom doors, windows, chairs, beds etc they can also be functional! a Disadvantage of little tiles is that it is very time cunsoming to break and place blocks. also Little tiles is survival freindly but it is currently only avaliable for 1.12.2 and 1.20.1
What I love about the entity editing is that it still kinda keeps the minecraft vibe, as you can only use minecraft blocks and items, and so you can't make circles or anything like that very easily, so it still kinda looks like minecraft.
The entity interior was actually amazing. Honestly, I thought you used furniture mods and stuff for the thumbnail but nope! You made this. And for that, I'm actually incredibly suprised.
Simplicity is the key why i love building in Minecraft. I love Axiom for large scale stuff and terrain editing but i will always prefer and love the look of your vanilla interior compared to the other. Thanks for showing all those cool features though. :) Both rooms looks really good btw.
It's vanilla tech, the mod is just a UI. You uninstall the mod and it would be exactly the same. It's like saying a build isn't vanilla if you use litematica or worldedit to make it
You uploading this, me seeing this being like “axiom, I know that”, me opening your channel, sees kayo, being like “wait a second, I’m trying to get better at kayo rn, bcs my friends ‘coerced’ me into playing Valorant with them.” Oh well, funny thing haha that just happened to me.
The most interesting thing would be to know if the mod have a way to copy every entity build you did with the mod to transfer it with command blocks in vanilla minecraft
discovered this mod on accident one day and haven’t looked back. definitely still have to learn more features/techniques and this is the right video. infinite reach is amazing!
I feel like a combination of the two would work the best overall, like you could add on a lot of detail with base blocks and model out some nice details to acheive some stuff you couldn't otherwise, plus I am pretty sure you could add detail over the top of certain stuff with display entities to make it work better
I love this video because it's for decoration purposes this mod right here I love decoration mods. I love the ability to edit blocks. The thing is I can't pick up or use any of those items. That's why I prefer furniture, mods and stuff. But I will definitely be using this when it comes to building models. But I'm going to be honest right here. Decoration mods is definitely the way to go for me personally cuz I can actually use the items
Axiom absolutely makes the block and item entities way easier to use than just Vanilla Commands. But people on lower spec builds need to be careful. Just like the name, they are entities. So making a base look pretty by using 200 entities can cause performance dips.
Literally the other day I was complaining to myself about how annoyed I was by where I built my house and I didn't want to have to rebuild it in a new spot. This is literally what I need, wow lol
Just a heads up, all the building stuff the mod does is all possible in vanilla. The mod just makes the process insanely easy without having to do all the commands. The builds you make in the mod are very much portable in a vanilla world 1 to 1.
And if you're a map maker, you could use barrier blocks to make these objects solid, even if they're not interactable. The only issue is that, without shaders, the lighting of some things might not look right.
If your doing medieval than the red fruit is definitely an apple because people used to think tomatoes are poisonous, as they are from the nightshade family
I think the item entities are great choices though since it is minecraft. The item shld be 2D, it makes it look familiar yet still sticking true to mc.
Can the entities have collisions? Like can the player walk on the entities, hit them etc? Cause if u can that's gonna be awesome u could literally just make a completly sideways building.
I believe that all of the entities will remain if your client were to be vanilla, might even be entirely clientsided/serversided, but dont quote me on that
Axiom is very cool but you need quite the beefy pc to be able to render that many display entities without your frames dropping all the way down to hell. Also it unfortunately only works for small or segmented interiors because of how minecraft derenders entities far away to save resources. I would love to use these in an outside build but there'd be so much pop-in
holy, thats better than i'd probably be able to do it. I'd prob be better at building kind of statues. not filled statues you'd see in buildings, but more robotic ones.
