What’s really wild is that Donna and Charlie did all of this so that Wendi and the boys could move from Tallahassee to Miami. Now, they’re the ones that will spend forever in Tallahassee.
Dan was spot on when he asked for supervised visits with Donna and his kids. The man knew she was evil.
Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist He asked that because the kids came back talking bad about him from what their grandmother said.
Can you imagine what else this woman has gotten away with during her lifetime? There’s no telling how much she has done to innocent people that crossed her path.

The irony is, if you listen to the phone call recordings between Donna and Charlie just before Donna attempted to flee, Charlie goes on and on and on about how hard this is for him and how his kid is gonna grow up without him... sir, you're the reason your nephews will grow up without THEIR father, get over yourself!

Overbearing matriarch? Absolutely. Its just a shame that her two younger adult children were too weak to get out from under their mother's thumb....despite the fact they they were a successful dentist and attorney. Only the eldest son, Robert, was strong enough to get away from his mother.

First child is mom's gift to dad. This is why Robert is not so affected. Second child is dad's gift to mom. This is why Charlie is so screwed up.
@MandyAltamirano The first child (Robert) is estranged from the family because of his overbearing mother who forbid him from marrying his girlfriend. So he had to make a choice---his family or his girlfriend. And he chose to marry his girlfriend. So now he has nothing to do with anyone in his family. That's why he's never been a part of this case. I think he made the right move. He recognized what his mother was and got far away from her. Good for him.
My son had shared custody with my grandson. The mother applied to the court to relocate 8 hours away with the child. A family attorney told me that would not be allowed. She went anyway and my son eventually got primary custody of my grandson. I don't believe any family court would go along with the Adelson's relocation of the children.
Ironic that now it’s Donna Adelson who’s “stuck” in Tallahassee…

I just wanna see Wendi behind bars, not only she deserves that for being part of this plot but also because how she threw her brother under the bus within minutes of being interviewed by police saying Charlie mentioned hiring a hitman but tv was cheaper! Like seriously that’s unbelievably crazy.

Ya the kids are the worst part about this, but TBH i dont think its likely counseling or therapy will ever be enough. If you think things through to the likely series of conclusions. Theyll have been told non stop lies to this point, and obviously Wendi will have to continue explaining away the questions they'll ask. When they eventually hear something via the media or from classmates, friends, etc etc that will majorly conflict with whatever of the million lies etc theyve been told. They'll end up researching and there'll be devastating moments of clarity. There'll be a moment they realize theyve been fully and completely betrayed in the worst ways on countless levels. Smfh, that special bond with there own mother will cause the betrayals to be utterly devastating. Wendi is so unbelievably twisted and changing there last names to hers shows how fckd up she is. Shes not dumb and had to have known what will happen when they realize the real reason she erased part of there identity.

The ages were very similar to the ages of the Markel kids - the crucial childhood ages from toddler to teens. They refused to believe that their father was guilty & visited & supported their father & never accepted the father's guilt.
@@anitahamel4576 ok, that may possibly be how this ends up. However, the case youre referring to im assuming is likely much different. Times are different now and half there family may be locked up by the end of all this.
I’m shocked at Donna’s insistence the grandkids join the Catholic Church all to make Dad mad. She new Dad was very religious and this would have harmed him psychologically. I read earlier last week that Donna with her daughter picked Dan on a dating website as the “pick” she wanted for her daughter. So Donna even chose Dan for her daughter to begin with!!
Yes she absolutely did when she began at the college. They previewed the candidates for her daughter as to who would be acceptable.

You know it was all an act, right? Donna wanted to mess with Dan's mind. You can't pick a couple of Jewish children off of the street and find a Catholic church to baptize them, no questions asked! Donna thought would scare Dan but he was too smart for Donna.
I hope Dan and his boys get total justice as much as is possible. This case is just demented. So sad he ever came across the Adelsons.
They authorities were already aware that she might flee, I suspect her name was flagged. Thankfully she’s in custody and won’t be leaving ever again. No comfy beds with soft sheets, no coffee or tea in her loungewear in the morning. No more luncheons with friends. She’s in for a rough experience until the end of her life.

Charlie was a dentist in the city where I live. I pass the high school they all went to every day. I’ve eaten at the places mentioned in the evidence. Makes it seem even more crazy. I can’t believe people living such a comfortable life didn’t appreciate it and just threw it all away. An innocent man dead, beautiful children without their father and soon probably their mother and the rest of their family, what a freakin mess.

Those poor children, that have been caught up in this mess. They lost their Dad to murder. They lost their uncle for being a part of killing their Dad. They’re gonna lose their grandmother for the same reason and possibly their mom in the future. Wendy may be covered because of how she set up her testimony agreement. What a ride that these kids will have to deal with emotionally for the rest of their lives. This case will forever be stamped online, to be seen at will. This is terrible.
I hope Dan’s children come to realize that their Dad’s life was taken because he was trying to fight for his right to continue to be in their lives to protect and love them as their Dad.
Imagine how sad this will be for the children when they are older.

How awful is this woman! I can’t imagine setting this up and then trying to flee when her son sits in jail committed for a crime that SHE orchestrated. This is the same shit that Rob Adelson talked about when his mom disapproved of the woman he loved. He said that she often threatened to cut him off from his whole family because his girlfriend wasn’t Jewish. Donna is the absolute mastermind of this crime.

I watched this last night about the arrest and I was smiling from ear to ear!! Now finding out she did indeed have a one way ticket out of the country with Harvey makes me even happier. This fight or flight is so damming for her trial.
The one thing I’m pretty sure about is that Donna will not take the stand in her own defense.

Wow, that is some cold calculated planning. It blows my mind Donna's willingness to just use her Grandchildren as pawns in her nefarious plans. Then when the jig is up, Donna attempts to run. Her son is in jail. What about her precious Grandkids and daughter? So much for a "team". I hope Wendi is next. Hopefully, the Grandkids will be with Dan's family and they can all find some peace and healing.

I just hope that Dan’s parents can finally have to opportunity to start being apart of their grandsons’ lives again. 🙏🏽

I know with all my heart they will be there to support these boys as they have loved them from the beginning and kept from them only because of the AIDELSON family. I was a paralegal in a government office for nearly 20 years. Started out everyone was very conservative and trended quite a bit older, but then our bosses started worrying about the future and started going after young lawyers and paralegals to learn and take over. It was a bit of a shock seeing my first government lawyers with tattoos, long hair on some of the men (especially the indigenous ones) and even one guy with dreads... but they know what they're doing. Fashions change. I think we're all getting over being all focused on body ornamentation.

I think the prosecutor was partly working on Charlie, during closing arguments, to testify against Donna. Grandma Donna was clearly in the prosecutors aim from a very early stage.

She was persistent in getting the Time said bf would be leaving. She was an emotional wreck per bf up to a month of the shooting for “no reason”, she knew. She scheduled an alibi fix a tv that bf said he’d buy her a new one. She drove to the crime scene way out of her way. She told bf “if only Dan wasn’t here” I could leave. She only brought her brothers”joke” because she’s a narcissist and if the bf plan didn’t work then they look towards her brother and she would scathe through it.

From what I have read and heard, the DA had enough evidence, but tbey were on a certain timeline. Once they learned that she was going to the airport and to Vietnam, she forced their hand so they had to arrest her.

Not only has this murder robbed a man of his life it has devastated the lives of the Markel family and those of the two boys. Their father was clearly devoted father and clearly loved them dearly. They were 3 and 4 yrs old when their dad was murdered 9 yrs ago. If they were raised in the Jewish traditions, they’d have had their bar mitzvah and therefore considered men. But, it’s hard to keep kids off sm, I’m sure their friends have talked about it with them. I hope they get to see the Markels.

I watched it & I didn’t get that from the appearance. The judge clearly said she would be taken to the correct county & then bond would be decided but the DA basically made the inference that it wouldn’t be a bond case. I guess everyone has their own take on how they perceive things though. 🤣

Glad they got Donna finally Justice for Dan and his family. And I bet it is sad for Robert Adelson though. He's probably glad that he's not a part of this scheme and this family's horrible doings. But at the same time I bet it bothers him too.

@@donnalambert7674 lol exactly. According to him he is. He doesn't seem like he would care much about her divorce. So I'm sure his mom was the main motivation for him to do this so she could combine his financial resources with hers and knew he had a girlfriend who knew some shady people.

I'm biracial and I love how Natalie Lawyerchick wears her dreadlocks and looks so sharp and smart while doing it. Keep expanding the lexicon of what's "appropriate" in court rooms. I get that courts don't want legal professionals or court attendees to roll in looking like they haven't taken care with their appearance. But no one could look at Peter Tragos or Natalie Lawyerchick and think they didn't take care with their appearance. I think guys look great with long hair, braids, and dreads as long as they take care of their hair. Same goes for beards. Some guys don't do anything to keep their beard looking dapper. (Guys deserve a little self care too!) A different hairstyle doesn't necessarily signal carelessness, disrespect, or a lack of professionalism.
