This is the judge who recognized a former classmate that was being arraigned once…and she said “I always wondered what happened to you. This was one of the nicest kids in my school” and the defendant cried when he realized who she was. I think she has a kind heart.

You don't think that would impact them? They've never really had a father. For now, sure, but, you don't think they will eventually put things together in a few years when they are adults? Wendi is just as evil as her mother. This whole thing was carefully planned and they scapegoated people less fortunate than them. No wonder the eldest doesn't associate with them. The whole lot must be hauled in. Wendi said so, didn't think it would hit so close to home. Justice ⚖️ for the Markel family

Wendi has immunity and can’t be prosecuted nor is able to purger herself on the stand. She agreed to testify and signed a deal. There’s nothing they can get her on, nothing. They couldn’t get to her brother & mother without her testimony. They believed it was Charlie acting on behalf of the mother, there was no significant evidence pointing to Wendi being part of the plan. Her interrogations are available on line.

Everyone knows jail calls are recorded. Did she/they want to get caught? Or do they want this entire ordeal to be over? Are they now just trying to save Wendi so she can raise the grandchildren? Do the grandchildren have dual citizenship with Canada so they can live with Dan’s family? So many questions 🧐

@@carrieanncancino5118immigration laws are complex and different for each country. US allows natural born citizens (if you are born in US you are a citizen) other countries (like Australia) don’t. Canada grants dual citizenship to someone with one Canadian parent. The US does not, you would have to renounce your Canadian citizenship to “become” an American. Note this does not apply to natural born Americans who wish to “become” a dual citizen of another country.

So much damage done here. Sounds like the whole family is dysfunctional as hell. Narcissists and entitled to have their own way, had the money to have Markel killed, convince him of relocation and I bet they are thinking now that it wasn’t worth it. They deserve everything they get but the kids sure don’t deserve all this heartache.

Curious, can Harvey be charged for helping her flee? I’m not sure they would have enough to convict Harvey or Wendi. Donna and Charlie seem to be the two most involved. The seem to come across as though they feel Harvey needs to be protected from every as not to stress him out and that Wendi is weak, so the two of them had to do the dirt work. Hope she is convicted. RIP Dan Markel
