As much as it hurts me to admit it, i think this video takes the crown from our collab as the coolest edit of an ac parkour video. Happy for you for finally getting this thing finished and out here, it's a masterpiece. And you are a monster.
Then you clearly haven't seen LazerzZ annual AC Unity series where he together with George and Tyler plays AC Unity co-op (not really) while being completely stoned and out of their minds.
Beautiful; the added intro/UI elements, VO work, and the final high risk sector especially, those regrabs really scratched an itch in my brain. I can't even imagine how much practice this must have taken. This really is AC art in its highest form. Amazing work dude. Seeing this really just makes me wish they itirated on the original parkour system. We could've had so much more🙃
Knowing you enjoyed those regrabs is really nice to know, as that was my favorite part of the run, too (next to the first high risk sector)! I also really wish AC parkour took a different route from very early on, and it's so sad to essentially see it get linearly worse as time goes on (bar Mirage's 1.0.6)
i have no idea how you do it. 6 minutes of insanity. The high risk sectors were amazing, how you incorporate such risky mechanics near the end of these runs is just crazy. The editing really compliments it all as well, not only is it just cool, it gives a little insight into the runs that makes me appreciate the skill even more. 10/10.
You are truly the goat of parkour. The dedication and precision of yours is unmatched. I really enjoyed your old videos, especially the Revelation ones. Hope in the future you'll come to the Kenway saga
You created the "Real Life Animus Experience". If such a thing was to exist in real life, it would probably feel like this video. The vibe is almost horror-like, interacting with an eerie, confusing AI voice that is transmitting memories of an ancestor whose god-like abilities are impossible for any Subject to keep up with.
This is the ultimate proof that Ubisoft is just awfully lazy. If this is what modders can do in more than a decade old game, then why can't Ubisoft do anything close to this? My god. And the execution in this video is jut perfect, greatest AC parkour vid I have ever watched
@@animusdrifter Yeah I know it's not that simple, I know a bit about game dev and implementing parkour system is hella difficult. But in the end I said Ubisoft is lazy and I stand by this. I said nothing about devs and employees. But Ubisoft as company is lazy and has wicked priorities (stripping us of our last penny for technically average content)
Again I'm kind of running out of compliments a bit because this feels way too good for a regular amazing or stunning. It's moving mountains, and you must be like a dolphin or something, you don't even sweat. My utmost respect, Luka
No way he actually finished making this video 🙇 also did not expect it to be 6 minutes long wow, every second was insane. Congrats on this amazing project Mr. Animus
i Have watched you lose your mind over this project for months and oh my gosh its beautiful. From the use of grabs, swings, vaults, all the directions you went and jumps you did it almost made me feel lost in how fast it was I can certainly say that this video is truly one of the best if not the best parkour video i've seen in all of youtube. Not to mention the editing too, which is top notch all the way through, and you should be REALLY freaking proud of it because of how awesome it is. also my fav part is around 5:15
@@animusdrifter i'm glad i was able to give support too. Again, it was really freaking awesome and the pace & speed are just right too, just make sure to take a little break after this because oh ma gah you'll need it

As an aspiring student who wants to open his own studios one day , I'll remember your channel and hope to make you and everyone else play a game that Assassin's creed could've been if it was in better hands. No shaming anyone devs but we can all agree ubisoft has been awful to us for decades now. Wish you luck man , hope you pump out more content like this.
Man, this is absolutely astonishing. I wonder how much work goes into finding the "route". Do you plan the route ahead of time (probably), and how many tries dles it usually take for you to get one thats good for the video?
Thank you, glad it was a good time! :) The routes are indeed preplanned, with only deviations usually happening if I really quickly have to cover up a mistake that doesn't look like one in the end product, but I'm always striving for (with really, really low tolerance) the "perfect" planned run. The amount of time/retries it takes to record usually depends on the complexity, and especially length, with the latter being made disproportionately more difficult as the run grows in length, especially if you're going for that perfect run. I wouldn't be surprised if runs of this length surpassed 1000 retries, but I don't have an exact number
This is probably the best AC parkour video now. Tho I gotta admit brotherhood music in AC2 threw me off a little 😅 This makes me wanna get off my ass and actually learn the new mod xD
Especially like that there was no use of flips. They would have been cool but would have definitely taken away from the mysteriousness and serious nature of the sequence

You control whether you want to swing or climb by using the same bind that you would on swings for the former (hp + legs + direction), while you can, for the latter, either hold up and wait for the recovery to play out before pulling up, or hold the pullup bind before you engage with the hang entry and then also hold up to start pulling up instantly.
Wooow Ezio is so fast, a real masterpiece! But why do you keep on adding the animus templates like green arrows on the walls etc? it just add so much work to your montage time
Thank you! I'm adding overlays because I'm trying to achieve a specific visual, and Animus led style that gives a raw parkour run more depth - am the animus drifter, after all lol
@@animusdrifter I say this because of all those interfaces that are a bit reminiscent of Animus 1.0 in Assassin's Creed 1. Not to mention that, at the beginning of Assassin's Creed 2, they use the Animus 1.0 to access Ezio's birth.
@animusdrifter Yeah exactly . Easily the better parkoue compared to Unity...even animation-wise in a few animations . And the crazy part is this is ACTUAL gaming mechanics that were turned off by Ubisoft when the made AC2 , ACB and ACRev on purpose
@@ngnevergone7587 It's more that they weren't enabled instead of being turned off, but indeed it's crazy that these systems can genuinely do all of this with more accuracy and consistency than anything that came after.
