I will never forgive them for that. It’s not that they sold it, for me, it’s more of WHO they decided to sell it too.
Black people also need to realize intact marriages are necessary to build generational wealth. Broken families result in a lot more expenses and unnecessary energy expenditure. If Blacks had financial resources we would not be such an easy target for the injustice system.
Think of your family as a corporation. The corporation is stronger when it’s intact. When governments want to weaken the power of a corporation they force the corporation to split into multiple companies. In a marriage that splits you end up paying for legal fees, 2 separate houses, 2 sets of furniture, 2 sets of utilities bills, 2 sets of everything. The money that could become generational wealth is going into the 4 winds and we all stay broke. Family, marriage, and community is more about empire building than it is about your personal happiness in the moment.

Wealth frees you when you have a plan of action. Wealth is not used to buy fancy clothes and just stuff. That wont free you. Its to buy platforms, control industries and pull your own worth as a group. When you are attached to a certain amount, you have value. Black value should be in dominating the many education fields, controlling their own culture, and branding their own businesses. We then need to pull our money and buy and hold resources around the globe and move as a competitive people. With money we can do business with the diaspora in the western hemisphere and even trade on the African continent. Social acceptance will come as a result of value.

IAmFozzy100 hopefully, I didn't know the history of it, I started watching as a kid and I stop watching because there was no education in the programs. I quit watching tv for good 6 years ago, now that we have more options with independent media. Even if you are a white person you should care because black people staying at the bottom is not good for humanity, but hopefully you agree with the generation wealth we are trying to push. Trust me a vacation/journey taken with friends that have fund ms is much more enjoyable than one taken with friends with no money!

I don't know any wealthy white person staying in poor white communities. People of wealth usually stay around other people with wealth. Also, instead of some of us tearing down our own rich black people by saying what are you doing for our community, we should be asking ourselves that, especially if we're still living in the community. Instead of selling drugs we should be in the business of selling or renting homes. Instead of gang banging, we should be more into team building. Not saying some people aren't, but we need to do a better job at it.

I agree with you Phil. Most black 1 percenters don't bring up people with them. Look at Chinese and Koreans for example, when one eats good, everybody eat good.
However, I can understand why they keep distant from the rest of us, because we bring each other down instead of uplifting.

It's better to be Black and wealthy than Black and poor. But, my Black family, in America, don't want to give loans or give any money to their family members. Even in Canada, my Black Uncle could not succeed in his business because he didn't get the proper support and it failed badly. My own Black family is fighting over a property in Trinidad that should have been sold a while ago and everyone would have got some money. I just look at my own family and I have to say what is happening to the state of Black people when we just blindly act in selfish interests, look down on others when we make it, and don't really have any cohesiveness at all as a community.

- A Strong Social Movement (Like how MLK, Malcolm, Minister Farrakhan did it) that can't be infiltrated by outsiders
- Own Our own Schools and control what is taught especially financial teaching
- A strong financial system owned & controlled by us with no outside influence or money injections
- Annual meetings between our leaders from every side
- Our own business districts that will be protected by us to avoid the Fall of Black Wall Street happening again
- Own the Areas that we live in
This is how you gain leverage. This is the only way to get a seat and say at the table. The Jewish, Asians and Arabs have figured this out and we are the only ones left that don't have a seat at the table because we haven't formed an organisation that handles all of these things.
With Black business - it has never been a problem with business creation. It has mostly been a problem with black patronage.

If I had that kind of money I would stay in Africa to build it up. Only reason anyone has that kind of wealth is because of our ancestors, so I might as well use it to fix the motherland which they came from.

Here in the south it's called "old money" because of being passed down. People make choices for different reasons. If the 1 percent choose to do different things, let them. We come here empty, we leave empty. Realize also that a lot of our people are helping in different ways.
I do have to comment. I’m a Black Realtor. I’ve always been told to take pictures down. This tactic may have disingenuous origins but it allows buyers to visualize themselves in the home. You want the client to think it’s their home as soon as they walk in. The folks in this video are old enough to be my parents though so I know they went through some real BS.

My sister could not sell her home in Livonia, MI and could not understand why. Our mom told my sister to take all the stuff that whites would think is "black" out of the house and it will sell. My sister did just that and the house sold in two weeks.

4:02 is the most outrageous thing I've ever heard. These people needed to remove their families pictures in order to get a good price on selling their home. America we need to wake up. We are being systemically dumbed down to the point where we do and say shit that makes no sense. For the realtor that told them that, I hope she sees maybe after death the huge negative impact she had on the emotions of these kind people. It's heartbreaking that we still can't just grow up!
I feel back in the day when they were growing up there were more opportunities to help them. Now it's all about excellent credit and collateral just to get a grant or loan to open a business. Back then you didn't need all of those requirements. Also they should have programs to help educate us on what to do and where to start.

This just confirms in my mind how much black folk , even the rich do not understand or do not know how to handle power hence the reason why they still have to be tentative about where they live. If, let's say you're a rich black person i.e in the top 1%, if you were being educated the right way , you would look closely at your white /other non black counterparts and immitate what they're doing to empower yourself , even more . I'm saying this to say that , if you implement wealth building programs to enrich your people strategically or covertly, you would be getting richer whiles building up your race to be able to compete, essentially protecting your interests in the longer term. I don't believe that our people are lazy or desire to party in poverty . The majority of us want to be loyal and stand for something worth defending. The fact is too many of us have been raised on survival mode, you know pay check to pay check and find it so difficult to save, much less to invest in business. If, just if the 1% of blacks that have made it would be a bit more selfish with their white peers and say, you know what I don't want to be on par with you - which would still mean that you have the edge over me anyway, I'm going to challenge your authority and take my rightful place , then focus on what they already have - which are millions of black people that are hungry for real change , we'd get results. Of course reward and punishment mechanisms need to be in place for treachery in any case.
Here's a thing. The wealth gap between wealthy Blacks and poor Blacks is much wider than that between Whites and Blacks in general.
That's why you build your own city and neighborhood. Get your own police force and politicians.
This is part two of my rant, just think if they did spread the wealth and help inspiring entreprenuers build up the black community through their investment dollars, they wouldn't have to worry about being separated from the blacks or lonely. There would be safety in numbers, because the more you build up the African American community, in this white supremacy America they will be safety in numbers because we will mobilize around one another and protect the community. Once black people see the vision and make it to reality the better off we will be.

Somehow the black one percent is just not that impressive at all. They have the fine pedigrees, manicured lawns and maybe some connections but these people are isolated.
