This is home! And it's my first time seeing Natalie on the channel, and I feel like she did such a great job as a personality! And I'm excited to see more of her doing stuff like this! You can choose a ton of food in Austin, and can't go wrong with the BBQ.
I've been in Austin since the mid 80s' and feel a bit like a tourist after this video. Didn't know about 3 of the spots in the video and will have to try them. Thanks for posting.
Great video!! Being from Austin, my favorites are La Barbecue, Stiles Switch, Terry Black's. Franklin's brisket is amazing, but I've only had it once as the line starts at 6:00 a.m. and you have to get there really early. Still want to try Mickelwaite's, Interstellar, and Cooper's.
I’ve had 40 of Texas Monthly’s top 50 (including the ones tried here), and hands down the best barbecue in Texas is the original Truth Bbq in Brenham, Texas!!
Bless her little non-Texan heart for the way her people taught her to smother that meat with so much barbecue sauce. Seriously though in Texas the most important part of barbecue is the type of smoker, the use of real native local hardwoods, and the spice rub. Barbecue sauce is meant to be used sparingly if at all, and it isn't that sugary thick Kansas City stuff they use on pork barbecue. Beef cheeks are one of my favorites but just like brisket they don't need or necessarily always come with some kind of sauce.
I mean Franklin’s is great but the new kids on the block (Micklethwait and Leroy and Lewis,…) are really shining right now. I think it’s because you can get just as good, if not better, bbq without the 4 hour line wait.
You didn’t even order pork spare ribs. It’s essential in central texas bbq. The holy trinity includes brisket, ribs, sausage. Other than that, good vid. Eat ribs! Don’t be afraid
I can only assume Le Roy and Lewis was sold out of the bacon rib, a pork rib with the belly still attach. ya madness I know the last deserved to be one here for what was shown and its even better than that.
Yeah, that bbq ramen place was terrible. That "broth" tasted like it was just left over drippings from cooking a brisket in a pan. It was disgustingly heavy, oily, and flavorless.
Natalie chose to wear WHITE for a crawl of BBQ places, this how we know she's a psychopath. Gotta respect the confidence though. That said I hope to see more of Natalie in these videos.
you were doing fine until you came to franklins as a austinite he is so overrated and pretty underwhelming..and there's plenty better and you don't have to wait in a freaking line..

What great scoop on Texas bbq, would love to visit all those spots! Natalie is both charismatic & convincing 🙌🏻
Everything looks delicious ❤
Franklin definitely my fav. Been eating there from the food truck days and the quality hasn’t changed. Really quality product.

Can you give her a break. She’s not perfect but she’s trying.

Yummmm
Franklin BBQ is BY FAR the very best brisket I've ever put in my mouth. Its a bit pricey, but SO worth it.

Franklins is overrated
80 degrees, oh I wish we were back to those Temps 😫
we are now here in TN :)
Leroy and Lewis recently opened their brick n morter building and there menu is off the chart
Great parking 😂
NATALIE THE FOOD LOOK DELICIOUS TOO AND HAVE A HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY TOO ❤❤❤❤
Now I want bbq
Black's!
So double parking is a thing?
Interstellar is too salty. But that peach glazed pork belly is amazing.
BBQ tatsuya is closing off
Frito Pie is a native food group. In the fifties and sixties, you would pour hot chili into a bag of Fritos, but now it has gone upmarket....kinda.
We need more of natalie 😢
Yummmmmmyyyyyyyyyy 😛 and I'm not about the BBQ 😍
Delish I love Texas BBQ it's just so amazing, delicious and awesome to have.
Aaron who? Interstellar for the win, hands down. Valentinas Texmex #2.
New series (question mark) ?

Nice job taking up TWO parking spaces!! What the heck happened to this channel?!?! Where is June and Julia?!?!
I guess if you drive a truck you get two parking spots.......
You forgot about
Valentina's Tex Mex BBQ! 😢
You missed SLAB!
Never put bar b cue sauce on Texas bar b cue!
They're definitely no bill miller's but they seem ok
La Roy, not LeeeRoy
No ribs?
i need that ramen

FAIL you didn't even try the Brisket on your first stop????????????
Let’s not have city people judge BBQ.

This girl is clueless. Beef cheeks are all over Texes BBQ
@2:25 cringe
Then its not chili. Chili without beans is meat soup. Beans MAKE IT CHILI lol. Stop w the nonsense.
Her hair hanging down in her plate is grossing me out.
She is not qualified
Austin? Hard pass.
I’m sure they’re devastated
