I'm a Dodgers fan from the UK and Vin is a huge part of why I fell in love with the Dodgers. He was more than announcer, he was everyone's friend. He made all of us feel like we were in the booth with him. His stories were always magnificent, his mood was always cheerful and his knowledge of the game was second to none. He was summer to me. I must have listened to thousands of hours of him from my early days watching the Dodgers as a teenager, through to his final game. I cried at the end of his final game at Dodgers Stadium, and I've cried today. It's so rare for someone to be as universally loved like Vin was. A role model for us all. We're going to miss you Vin. Rest up.

That's the Dodger coming out. If the Rams or the Dodgers are at home, it's "The fans are going wild at Dodger Stadium!!". But in Candlestick, home of the Giants, "It's a madhouse at Candlestick!!"
Vin was the Greatest Of All Time!! Costas....not so much.
