Seriously. I am as pessimistic as any Mets fan but after Judge batted, I was pretty confident that even the Mets crappy pitching could plow through the rest of the Yankees lineup. If you can just avoid walking the guys in front of them, Soto and Judge can’t hurt you. I don’t understand why Boone has them batting back to back.

The genius Brian Cashman has 300 million dollars to work with every year and his cleanup hitter on Tuesday night was JD Davis, a guy who got cut by the Oakland Athletics.
That is more on Boone than Cashman for constructing the batting lineup. Don't get me wrong though. Both are at fault

@@OotoriKyouya Yea they are both at fault. Boone can't stop his team from making bad errors and bone headed mistakes. Cashman has wasted billions over the last decade, he is despicable.
The problem is, they have invested most of their payroll on 5 players (166Million).. instead of building a supporting cast around judge, or draft good. Besides Judge, who has been consistently good on their roster?

The Yankees aren't "banged up." Stanton is hurt every year, and Rizzo was doing nothing before he got hurt. They have been LUCKY with their injuries this year compared to most teams. They just stink.
Dodgers are really banged up, they have the most guys on the IL than any other team in the league. At one point, almost their entire starting rotation was on the IL at the same time, not mention missing Mookie and Muncy and somehow they are leading their division by 7 games.
@Wetwilly87 and Ohtani isn't pitching, Kershaw has been out. May/Buehler as well. Right? Yanks are 95% healthy now and still suck

Brian Cashman: The master of BAD contracts. First, the ARod albatross of a contract, now he has LeMahieu and Stanton to deal with. The guy never learns.
Ellsbury, Hicks, the list goes on and on. Cashman blows, I hate him and Boone, 2 douchebags. LeMahieu's contract is a real gem, too.
As a Mets fan we have been just as bad. Jason Bay Max Sherzer ,Verlander , Cano and the list goes on and on also
