- It's happening again, since 8th Edition we had teases of a certain snake like Primarch returning to the setting, now with his return coming in 10th Edition, Games Workshop are once again beginning to tease another Primarch...

Valrack is eagerly waiting for the return of his gene father, Perterabo.
Lol
Indeed.
Perty is the Fist’s gene-daddy
Peter Turbo*
Dawg you’re gonna make him kms you better stop lol
Valrak’s getting more giddy by the day about his gene-sire returning.
How dare you 😂
@ChapterMasterValrak make sure to say "Ay, Papi!"
"Only primarchs not aligned to chaos gods are Lorgar and Perturabo."
Alpharius says 'Hi'.
I love doing this. 😆
WHO?! He’s dead 👀👀👀😂😂
@ChapterMasterValrak you really wanna assert facts about the Alpha Legion? Who knows if they even existed in the first place? 😆
@ChapterMasterValrak about as dead as Dorn ...
Alpharius confirmed demon when and where? "Demonic Primarchs...."
What about Conrad Curze?
“Everyday we await Lord Dorns return. We await another day.”
He is with the Emperor….. RIP
Ever vigilant,ever stalwart.
...even a handful of Days...shoot, sorry. Too Soon?
And you shall wait a billion more
And there’s me waiting for angel boy to make a return 😜
Finally, Valrak’s favorite Primarch returns to the setting!
I've been saying this for quite awhile. His mouth says Dorn, but his body says Perturabo.
Fully agree
We all know he has a Purty pillow case in his bed room :P
The man is English, spell Favourite properly 😜
@@Gdiddydiddy Adding extra vowels to words is how Britain lost the empire
I want a Lorgar model for 40k, so if I have to wait for both Fulgrim and Perturabo to receive their new sculpts first, then that is just fine with me. They’re saving the best for last. 😈
At the rate they are releasing things and moving with the lore, It's good if he comes back in next 20 years honestly. And I would love to see him back more than the rest.
Lord-Father Aurelian is probably going to be one of the last, mostly because his plans should be of the highest danger to the imperium.
Yeah they’re saving Corvus for last.
Daemon Primarch Perturabo is going to be amazing, can't wait to see his design. Also if Perturabo comes back they will just do with CSM as with SM, we still have chapters although the only unique thing about some of them are a single character.
I hope he's not 'daemon-y' like Angron, Magny Magic or Mortarion. (Tho id prefer him not to be a DP in the first place but eh)
I hope he looks like a Knight, just a FUCKSHITTON of weapons. Y'know that tetrapod art of DP Perty??? Thats what we want. Just a MASS of weapons and armor. No icky daemon shit i want him to look like Vashtorr's wet dream
@@thedyingmeme6 With his association with the siege warfare, the soul forge and Vashtorr, i wouldn't be surprised if he ends up something akin to a defiler or doom engine to support the over the top amount of weapons, though i also know that those models are not really liked by a lot of people .
The Iron comes... And the Praetorian rises to meet him!
nah ,we dont need a sequel to the iron cage again !!
I’m just waiting for Lorgar to break his 10,000 year meditation, take his mace and flatten Erebus, and say “hear me out guys, I know where we messed up”.
IRC he has done it
@@ChapterMasterValrak yeah but Erebus lived :(
Now if Lorgar mashed Erebus into a paste i'd like him slightly more
And then Corvus Corax still murders him. 😅
@@DanielWW2 That would be 100% 40K style
Can't wait for Lorgar model!
I wish Vulkan would return, I would love to have a 40k mini for him
Peter Turbo is alright**, but I can’t wait for the return of Dorn to meet him, using his hand 5th element style, with the recent lore updates he could be played by Milla Jovovich.
nahh, he is more like the dude from treasure planet with a multi tool hand
I can’t wait for Alpharius to return and show Dorn what a true loyalist looks like. 💪
We could only be so lucky
@@marvdroet4437you mean John Silver? Fuck yeah, I’d be hyped if Dorn returns as a tragic character who realizes the importance of being there for his sons, and takes on a much more fatherly role.
Idk man Peter turbo showing up to a fight with imperial fists “my brother sons I have brought you a gift! Your father!” *servator rogal dorn rolls out* peak imperial fists rage generation
"From iron cometh strength, from strength cometh will, from will cometh faith, from faith cometh honour, from honour cometh iron. This is the unbreakable litany. May it forever be so."
Iron within, Iron without!
As much as it makes sense for rogal to return when perturabo does, I'd kinda like it if he came back with fulgrim so he can finish what he started at saturnine
God damn give us super-dreadnought,vashtorr aligned, not-technically-a-daemon, titan-sized super cyborg Perturabo!
Fuuuck that would be so fn cool.
Its almost as Valrak's daily prayer for Daddy Perturabo come home with a jug of milk
I mean, the twin short stories Warbreed and Halfbreed, written and released by Graham McNeil in the anniversary edition of Storm of Iron leave off with Honsou’s visit to Perturabo and Daemon Primarch Perturabo standing up and going “Time for me to go to war again” or something to that extent
I hope he and Lion have a solid convo. Perturabo is a good foil to Guilliman, as they’re both masters of logistics and such, but the Lion and Perturabo have actually interacted priorly in a mutually congenial way
In the Horus Heresy, when the Lion hands over the siege guns to Perturabo, he has genuine respect for him, and vice versa, with Perturabo sounding genuine when he laughs and says Lion should have been Warmaster.
However, Son of the Forest completely fucking dropped that lore because Lion, when confronted by a doppelgänger of Perty, claims he never ever cared for Perturabo in the slightest, because the foolish writer forgot the like SINGLE CANONICAL CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE TWO CHARACTERS, AND CHOSE TO DISS ON PERTURABO WHEN THEY RESPECTED EACHOTHER IN PREVIOUS LORE.
Haven’t read son of the forest yet, but could it more be the lion being spiteful, because Perty betrayed the imperium? So while he could have actually cared in the past, he’s just saying that spitefully. Idk how the scene was written, so I could be very wrong.
Well, well, well..
Everyone rejoice!
Valrak's father is coming home🎉🎉
I feel like fulgrim and vulkin would be a nice pair to bring back the defender of humans and the flayer of them sallys fighting off slaneesh skin flayers from getting humans would be rad
Valrak will be the luckiest Astartes ever... his daddy actually came back from getting cigs and milk!
Order of Return
1. Fulgrim
2. Leman Russ
3. Peterabo
4. Dorn
5. Lorgar
6. Corax
7. Konrad Kurze
8. Jagatai Khan
9. HORUS
10. SANGUINIUS
Milk me dry.
if Curze or Horus come back then we need Ferrus too!
Horus is dead. He's got to stay so. Otherwise there are just no stakes in the lore anymore. Same, really, with Sanguinius.
And kind of Conrad, we know he died. At least e.g., Dorn we never actually saw him die, so they can retcon his survival in.
You sound like your mother 😂
There is a difference between being erase from existance like horus and being killed like Kurze (and Ferrus Manus).
Their death is less permanent.
@painlord2k death has really got to be permanent if the lore is to have any meaning. If death is only a time-out then why care if a character dies? The stakes are lowered. GW need to bear it in mind. It would make Sanguinius's sacrifice fairly trivial, for example.
IRON WITHIN! IRON WITHOUT!!! FOR THE FOURTH!!!!
40k plastic Fulgrim just needs to happen regardless. Have ALL chaos god Daemonic Primarchs represented, THEN we do other main Primarch flavors. Word Bearers, Iron Warriors, Space Wolves, whatever. Just get all known Chaos represented finally for your ranges's sake.
I don't mind the idea of Games Workshop continuing to bring Primarchs into current 40k just as long as they look amazing and narratively make sense, especially the ones we know are still most definitely alive.
What I and I have to assume fans in general don't want is the idea of bringing someone back like Sanguinus. It would be absolutely a bad thing as his death IS what personifies being a Blood Angel in 40k. You bring him back, and it kills part of the narrative uniqueness.
If Perturabo comes back, I want him to have his iron circle of automatons but bigger and scarier.
And plastic!!!!!!!! Domitar-Ferrum Battle Automata my beloved!!!!!
Extract:
"Brother" Purturabo grated,
"You must unleash the beast to take on this mighty foe"
Purturabo's eyes met Russ' as he looked over his shoulder.
Russ roared and with all the power of Fenris thrust harder.
If they do this, either my pockets or my printer gonna be burning up
Your true lord and master returns!!
Iron warrior fans should be happy to pull out the iron within
OMG I WANT IRON WARRIORS SO MUCH
They could bring back all the "living" primarchs and it would sell like crazy. It would be a powerful move and be great for the setting.
This would be epic. Totally crossing my fingers
Honestly, as an Iron Warriors player, I rather like the thought of Perturabo not returning since he is already living his best life - sat in the Warp making things for people who appreciate them. I can imagine him building a Lord of Skulls for Angron, saying "Here brother, I made you something that can keep up with you in combat, covers for your shortcomings, fits your aesthetic, and is fuelled by the resource you are most adept at procuring. Plus, you can pretend to be a train conductor." And Angron is so happy he only slaughters the people in Perturabo's forge that Perturabo specifically put there to be slaughtered.
off the top of my head: perturabo and russ were both at gate 42, where loads of terran raven guard died, but thats barely an interaction. perturabo basically called corax a coward for wanting to use stealthier tactics, and russ had to split them up before it got worse
With Primarch coming back... I think it's a question of scale. Hell you could play Angron in 4th/5th.... in Apocalypse
This is very exciting to me! The writing of Graham McNeill got me back into 40k so I could collect Iron Warriors. I identified with Perturabo in a way that's hard to explain, but I guess that's what great writing does to us.
Can't be Dorn. He drooling into his pudding somewhere after the beating he got.
If think about it Perty will he Primarch for Dark mechanicum element of chaos, then only aspect left is sorcery and demons....enter lorgar. Plus the 4 gods specifics and that covers all the chaosy things in 40k
My thoughts about returning Primarchs? Cool! I look forward to painting them!
Im new to warhammer and decided im doing an iron warriors themed army so this is great news 😊
Lets hope it pays off for you mate, IRON FILTH!
Angron and the lion came back a couple of months apart. I think they'll keep that trend.
Iron hands working with skitarri VS iron worriors and vashtor make it happen GW 🦇
maybe Hansou from the Iron Warrior books will return too. last he said in the books is that he was going to Perturabo and going to talk to him about his absence.
Honsou?
@@martinjohnson2381 KILL ME haha ur right i remebered the name wrong ty ty
Cool that your favorite primarch is returning Val
Valturabo is oddly happy to see his favorite primarch returning.
IRON WITHIN!
There's four legions dedicated to the specific gods, and I feel like they're trying to keep parity by using the Black Templars as the 4th loyalist equivalent/opposition. If so, bringing Perturabo back pretty much guarantees Dorn comes back to fight him...single-handedly.
Btw is Vashtorr the Omnisiah ?! 😮
I cant help but feel that theyll be missing a great oportunity to bring back dorn and perturabo at the same time. I know theyll probably keep the loyalists fairly humanoid in shape but i do really hope dorn is in some sort of super dreadnought thing and that he's demon primarch sized, and that perturabo is some sort of super obliterator and bristling with guns.
my main hope is that perturabo and lorgar's return sees them with a dark mechanicum and a lost and the damned/chaos the unwashed masses factions respectively
Nothing would be cooler rn than seeing daemon primarch perturabo. I know people disagree with it but I think there’s numerous ways that it does in fact make sense. Nevertheless I think it would look super cool.
yes!! perty and leman my favourt primarchs !!
🍋 russ
Can't believe Valrak pledged himself to Perty Perturabo
Plot twist: Vashtorr is (a shard of?) Perturabo.
As a Iron warriors fan i can't wait to see the return of Perterabo. "Iron Within Iron Without!"
Lorgar returning would be sick! But looking at the last deamonic machines miniatures released, i think perturabo can be really great
It would be cool for Perturabo to return, he's been mentioned since the 2nd edition CSM codex. Personally, I hope GW slows down a little bit with the primarch releases, so they can give more lore to the Lion, Angron, Fulgrim, and hopefully Russ. Great video as always!
I think they should bring all the primarchs back but have them all touched with chaos so they are all different. Even the loyalist ones they have managed to use the warp, so they are now changed as well.
Would that mean that pertubaro returns before dorn does?
How do you feel with that?
Good the Fists are about finally get their comeuppance. All at the hands of the greatest Legion. Iron within, Iron without!
The default black legion aesthetic works pretty well for nightlords, wordbearers, and alpha legion, so i wouldn't expect anything beyond upgrade sprues. I could very much see the iron warriors get spun off into their own range with a dedicated battleline kit.
Looks like the end of Valrak and his reclaimers of dorn 😂😂
Not all the Primarchs and Traitor Primarchs should return.
GW should make lore that doesn't only centre on the Marines to sell newer characters.
What would be real dope is if say the Wolf and the raven come back together. Maybe the raven and the warhawk. Just a two for one special and they just beat fulgrims snake arse.
Then Lorgar comes back as a loyalist, and helps in resurrecting the Emperor or bringing him into a stable state.
I wonder if the weapon that Vashtorr is seeking is Pertarabo, makes sense, a weapon to fight the imperium with, who better than the Iron Warriors gene father.
Perturabo and Vastor are going to meld and become the 5th Chaos god
Image they use Peter Turbo and Vashtor as an excuse to bring back the Exodites as an army or unit options as well as other units that can counter them due to having no high-tech stuff to be manipulated by Vashtor
Mess up everyone's lore understanding and bring back Sanguinis and Horus at the same time lol. On a serious note, i do think its fun and agree that once on Primarch came back, they were all destined to return
Iron within, Iron Without.
I’ve been saying for years they need to turn Perterabo into some kinda primarch dreadnought to keep him alive. Just think it would be awesome, but that’s just me
It's not just you my friend, God for once I wish gw would do the cool thing here and not just copy paste another lame daemon-ascended primarch story.
He of all the fallen primarchs would be the one to make himself daemon prince powerful without actually bending the knee..from iron cometh will ffs.
@@whitekony1006 agreed. My take is he basically despises the chaos gods and has never submitted to the gods, so why should he turn to them for this. Have him build himself some sort of dreadnought-esque device to save himself.
Plus I think his model would be dope
Speaking of Primarchs fighting Primarchs they aren't typically "aligned" with; The coolest way to reintroduce Fulgrim would be to have him fight Corvus.
Gimmie Ferrus Manus next, after Perurabo. He’s a machine guy! And he’d was just started figuring out he’d f’d up his legion, then bam! Dead.
I don't see the problem with bringing primarchs back into the setting, as long as the overall tone of the setting remains the same. And so far, overall, it has. Yes, there are some noblebright elements that may not have had as much attention as before, but the galaxy still stands on the precipice of ruin and it always has and the grimdarkness still overwhelms everything. Primarchs create opportunities to tell epic stories, and ultimately that's what 40k is about - crafting epic stories about your army, and the richer and more complex the background is then the more opportunities there are to build those stories into something we each find meaningful and rewarding. That said, I still hope that Horus, Ferrus Manus, Sanguinius, Kurze and Alpharius all stay dead. Dorn's death has been retconned out but it was never a pivotal event, the others were because they all had symbolic resonance and shaped the legacies of their sons (and in Alpharius' case, his twin), and I also hope that Lorgar and Corax stay in the warp because I love the idea of this perpetual hunt going on where each is forever trying to take the other out.
Calling it now. Valrak is absolutely right on this. Perturabo is going to make a come back within the next few years or so. I definitely see it happening.
I'm still thinking Lorgar next. He seems like a better fit on the tabletop
I’m thinking of doing something similar to your last wall protocol with my salamanders. How did you it? Did you just do 1 unit as a different successor chapter or did you do it by unit type such as all intercessors were IF but your aggressors were a different chapter and your terminators were another successor etc?
Peter Turbo, let's fucking go!
The best thing would be if Corax returned and took up special operations warfare against enemies of Imperium. Maybe he can turn back from chicken monster 🤔 so Black Templars and Marines Malevolent don't chase him around too much.
I want a Warp Saint Corax model SO GODDAMN BAD!!!
PS
Yes I'm dumb enough to be currently ruining my Corax 30K model to make one and even if I kitbash it like a Boss of bosses....its not going to be as cool as a GW sculpt.
Vashtorr having an uneasy partnership with Perturabo is a bit saddening but understandable. Would have thought this cooperation would be more jolly considering how straightforward and honest Vashtorr is. This all aside though, these two working together is terrifying, I’d argue even scarier than Vashtorr working with just Abaddon because Perturabo has the Technovirus, which made the obliterators, infected a tyranid bioship to later be turned into a Titan carrier. Vashtorr’s ability to control machines combined with this virus would not only decimate the tyranid threat, but also turn them into more material to fuel Vashtorr’s war machine!
It makes no sense for Russ to return son soon.
His whole quest is about finding something that would help Big E return, so Leman will sadly be one of the last ones if not the last. On the other hand he himself said that he will return for the big F'd up times and, as we have seen not even the galaxy's big crack has made him return yet.
Also, in terms of rivalries, it'd make far more sense for Dorn to return and face Perturabo than for Leman Russ to come back like "who are you again?"
I absolutely NEED Jaghatai Khan to come back with a "son of the forest" level story. He was super underrepresented in HH, and he needs his proper respect. I've never heard anyone say they hate him, but he's usually not in people's top spot because GW just doesn't give him anything to do! It's just my personal take, but c'mon GW. Give White Scars some love.
to be fair, Perturabo has been really quiet in the setting for a long time, now he's suddenly getting name dropped here and there makes it kinda suspicious
I do see him coming back in 11th, which will be a big Fate of Armageddon. Imperium vs Chaos vs Orks vs Necrons vs (1 more Xenos).
The Chaos forces will be lead by Vashtorr being supported by Perturabo who made a deal to save himself by having Vashtorr use the Forge of Souls to make him a Daemon Primarch. No this does make sense for Perturabo as 1) He wasn't against Chaos he just first thought to look at it and understand to control it with logic, and 2) This wouldn't be selling his Soul but loaning it out with no interest rates. Angron & the World Eaters will also be on the planet but will be more fixed on fighting the Orks, and I see also Dark Mech being made and there viewing Vashtorr as the Omnissiah. But for Chaos Primarchs just those 2.
Imperium Primarchs will be Roboute, The Lion, and a 3rd brought in 10th either Russ or the Khan. I don't see a 4th being brought into 11th especially if it is the Khan but perhaps Vulkan if Russ is brought back for 10th.
Can we start a poll to rename Valrak to Simpgismund?
Anrakyr the traveller thinks takes over vehicles??
Hold my oil can
even if they bring out perturabo, i'm not really ready to get more models at this time. I already have a backlog of models and financially it wouldn't make sense!
What are the chances that Perturabo and Fulgrim trade blows and throw down. Fulgrim did betray and try to kill him during the heresy. Also at what point do the other Chaos gods try to step in and take action against Vashtor. And if may indulge in a little tinfoilery. What if Vashtor does manage to ascend to become a chaos god. Could Perty become his champion? Sorry for the rambling. But Vashtors appearance in the setting has me intrigued by what he could cause and do.
It'll be like 9th, they'll bring back perturabo, and then shortly after Leman Russ will come back to fight him, like Angron and the Lion
man now if only gw could retcon first captain Forrix getting obliterated by a titans turbo lasers. guy was my favorite warhammer character.
Iron within, Iron without.
Personally I hope for Fulgrim and his subordinates release sooner than 2025...
Summer/Fall/Winter 2024 *crosses fingers*
But Perty should come in like a fucking giant deamon engine wrecking ball on the Phalanx
Ah yes. They are teasing the Primarch named Pryce Encreese !
Finally! Finally, Valrick will have his Daddy back!
what if vashtorr gets his special item and becomes a chaos god of machinery and perturabo's legion are his followers, opens up dark mech as well
Peturabo. Imperial Fists. Yeah, I can see the Lord of Iron come back. Bring Dorn, while they're at it.
Finally
For a second I thought that this meant that they were inventing a new primarch.
Get ready for the secret third Mario brother!
It SHOULD be Perturabo vs Fulgrim.
Doesnt Perty absolutely DESPISE fulgrim due to angel exterminatus?
I hope they bring back Lorgar as the penultimate Chaos bad boy who swats Failbaddon, Mortarion, Fulgrim and Angron aside.
Theory: The "weapon" is an AI that fell to chaos and the Mechanicum locked away. Releasing it awakens a 5th chaos god, God of the Machine. Vashtor, Perturabo become servants of the new god, and they can introduce what is essentially the Dark Mechanicum as another "demon" faction.
