Of all the masterpiece songs that I love from Led Zeppelin this song, The Rain Song is No.1 on my favorite songs from Led Zeppelin. This song is a Masterpiece!
Mine too, I recently got a tattoo on my forearm, the LZ symbols above which is the line, Upon Us All A Little Rain Must Fall - such a truly beautiful piece of music that transports every time ❤
This is exactly what makes them so special and far above most groups .... when they can do this and then do Dazed and Confused !.....by the way that is not an orchestra and those are not strings .................that's just John Paul Jones doing his thing.........I'm not joking.
A brilliant song...Led Zeppelin showing they can do anything. Convention out the door. I grew up only ever hearing one Zeppelin song on the radio, Stairway to heaven. One day, in my early teens, i decided i needed to hear more and my whole appreciation of music changed. I'm over 50 now but i recently discovered Uriah Heep...i'm enjoying that journey too.
Man, there is no orchestra in this song, just John Paul Jones uses a keyboard called "Mellotron" , a legendary keyboard from the 70s. (in some ways the first "sample player") Go see this strange instrument: ruclips.net/video/VsEso9JagdQ/видео.html
@@RidiculousRicone way reactors can get lives through is to, write copyright text across it, we can still pretty much see it. Another great live by them is, live at Earls Court In My Time Of Dying, posted under Andriu 1962. It is a 12 minute & 4 second video. Everything about it is great, Jimmy Page kills it on a slide guitar. This & Since I’ve Been Loving You live at MSG (1973), are the two best lives. Also try waiting a few days to post them, that might work.
You are so right about what they stand for in terms of their music. They played what they considered to be the best musically. Its what they wanted to explore.
This is the song that made me want to learn guitar more than Stairway and at 60 im still playing this song Check out the live version at MSG when you get a chance its worth a look Peace to ya man
Regarding live videos that get blocked, have you tried altering the video rather than trying to cut it down? A lot of reactors distort the video in some way but most superimpose text on it (like the name of the song or the word "copyright"), etc. They use all kinds of techniques to get videos of live performances to pass copyright. Of course, viewers will have to watch an altered video but generally don't mind knowing it's a problem reactors have to deal with when reacting to some bands. Love Led Zeppelin and this happens to be a favorite song. Thanks!
Thank you for the input, I need to try that I haven’t attempted to alter or filter the video, that’s a great shoutout thank you:)! Thanks for your support as well, glad you enjoyed the video🙏🏼
After the death of my late wife. I was at the lowest saddest part of my life. Luckily for me I found love again. Someone who is wonderful caring loving. If there is a God thank you for bringing me Joann..a happy 64 year old led zeppelin lover and especially this song. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
One of my favourite Zeppelin songs. There is a video of Jimmy Page on acoustic guitar, Robert Plant on vocals (of course), accompanied by an orchestra. Amazing.
Oh & how you said "ya can get lost in the music" that is what i call my **Trance** **Led Zeppelin** is the ONLY band who can consistently put me that **Trance** it is like an out of body experience to me which is utter & complete **Bliss** to me as when i am in that **Trance** i feel NO **Pain** & i suffer with severe chronic pain so it is now in my life a precious **Gift** they are a **Treasure** too this world
Actually George Harrison of The Beatles saw them in concert, & told Bonham, you guys need a ballad. This was Jimmy Page’s hold my beer, Plant said you can hold my beer too. Yes a very beautiful song, Ten Years Gone is another beautiful one. John Paul Jones recorded the orchestra, & he can play it on the Mellotron with his keyboards. Yes I believe it’s about a relationship. Thank you for your reaction.
@@sicotshit7068 Oh been in kinda a dark place lately BUT coming out of it a lil now tho my life is always overcast heh "Just gotta keep on livin man L I V I N"
@ I’m always here if you need someone, just reach out. I’m doing OK, looking forward to having my 3 sons all together over Thanksgiving. I have things to look forward to, for Christmas my husband two of my sons & the ones girlfriend will spend the week of Christmas in Las Vegas with my family. Come January I’ll be in a funk, boring winter blues. Listening to Led Zeppelin daily helps keep me going too. Take care my friend, & snap out of your feeling blue. As I said I’m here if you need someone, we can make it an easier arrangement if we need to. Love & hugs.
Sorry you had problems with Since I've Been Loving You LIVE. Most people who succeed blurr it out but I saw one guy who had success by adding a googly eyed image in the upper corner which was weird but altered the image enough he didn't have to blurt it. I suspect the policing is done by A I and it was the eyes that confused the computer so it didn't red flag him.
You gotta pause and talk during the recordings from time to time. Also, it helps to paste something over the video or thumbnail of the song. That all falls under fair use.

It was absolutely beautiful, instantly on the playlist before the song ended🤝🏼

That’s really just him alone?!! My goodness, wow! That’s so amazing!
The Rain Song, one of several masterpieces by them.
The orchestra is John Paul Jones on keyboards. Led Zeppelin never used session musicians they could do it all themselves.

Truly one of the best pieces of music ever written...totally agreed MASTERPIECE. Thanks for the memories

It's kind of like listening to water running through a stream in the woods, only birds chirping and squirls yelping. It's very soothing and relaxing.
Totally agree, extremely soothing and relaxing! Very beautiful piece of music!

@@gilbertzurita awesome, I’ll definitely have to check that out:)
I really love this song
It’s on repeat for me now🙏🏼
Yes, it's their best ballad, imo. btw, the orchestral sounds are actually JPJ on the Mellotron (also on keyboards and bass).
Beautiful song! You should hear this live 1973 at msg!!! Jimmy produced all their albums!!
@@juliemanarin4127 I’ll definitely have to check that out soon!:)

Tool does a version of No Quarter...
We hit 800 🙌🙌

As expertly crafted as Stairway, IMO.
I can totally get down with that take, they took there time and perfectly executed this🙏🏼
P.S. i **LUV** all your **Friendship Bracelets** at least that is what we used to call them & yours look similar to them **RockON!!!**
You should listen to The Song Remains The Same transitioning to The Rain Song for an jaw dropping listen.

Like Jack White said “ I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t like Led Zeppelin” enough said
