Another thing I love about the opening to Lego Batman 2 is how familiar it all feels if you played the first game, as the level essentially feels like a speed run of that original game’s story, in which you simply rounded up Gotham’s most wanted. Not only does it make the game feel familiar for older players, but it acts as a bold statement of intent, as dealing with the same villains that once took you an entire game to defeat in only the first level suggests that something much bigger and more complex is on the horizon.
I remember when it was coming out, there was a free demo of just the first level on Xbox. I played that over and over again so many times. It really is a fantastic level
I suppose you could compare it to the opening of metal gear rising where you effortlessly take out a metal gear which were such imposing figures in the metal gear solid games
As biassed as I am for Lego Indy as I adore the movies, but The Lost Temple has to be my favourite opening level in a Lego game as it really feels like your playing the movie. From avoiding all of the temples traps , collecting the idol , the boulder escape and running away from the natives. Absolute classic
I feel like Lego Indiana Jones 1 may well be my favorite Lego game. Like, ALL the levels are so good-I don't even mind Motorcycle Escape. It's not great, and it can be a little frustrating at times, but it's passable, in my opinion. While the hub world could obviously have been better, I think the levels (by and large) are perfect in my opinion-just long enough that they don't get boring, with such fun, interesting environments, and I love all the side areas there are to explore. That's actually one major problem I have with newer games, is that so many minikits are just sort of hidden like "here's a panel in the middle of the main room that you can't access with the story mode characters," while games like Indy, TCS, Batman, and PoTC have all these completely new, hidden areas that you can explore. For the most part, the levels are just so great, and The Lost Temple is an amazing introduction for what's to come.
For me it's Lego Marvel SuperHeroes 1 as well. I still remember when Lego Games had a downloadable demo version (before Steam it was on Lego website) and I remember replaying the levels so many times until I knew where every collectable was. In Lego Marvel SH1 it was the first level, but in Lord of The Rings it was Helm's Deep, In The Hobbit (I believe one of the last demo versions) it was goblin-town (without Bilbo and Gollum section). Don't remember other demos from PC, I'm sure on Playstation or Xbox there were more and they were easier to get, but still, so nostalgic.
One thing I’ll always give LEGO Force Awakens was the 2player experience of one person being the pilot and one being the gunner. I replayed that level over and over just to get to the TIE portion.
I stacked the bricks correctly in 5-7 xD I quite enjoy Lego Indiana Jones 1. There is something good feeling about collecting the easiest minikit ever. Interesting video idea: The easiest Minikits to collect (I guess the mentioned one and the flight levels in Complete Saga).
For me it’s Lego Star Wars tcs. And yes I might be blinding by nostalgia BUT I LOVE HOW THE LEVEL FEELS. It’s so calm and peaceful and I also love the fact that ur in space in a spaceship and there are so many rooms to explore. I can’t explain it but I get a nice peaceful vibe from this level.
You don't have to restart 1-1 in Lego Batman 1 if you can't fit the drone through the whole. It's a v-sync issue. Simply switch your v-sync in settings to whichever one it wasn't on. eg. on to off or off to on.
Honestly, when he said “Lego dig site” and the Zelda music started playing with the cutscenes, it made me realize how much time he spends on these videos. Amazing
My favorite opening is the tantive IV level in lego star wars 2, I love the little gags and hidden parts of the level, the hallway where Darth Vader is just endlessly killing rebel troopers, the stormtroopers using a hot tub in the escape pod, and the button that just launches stormtroopers into space for no reason
Yesss Rugged I am so proud of you making this phenomenal video it shows such commitment you shown to it and you are such an amazing dude! And ofc you are my legend to human society! :))❤😂🎉
My Top 10 Favorite Opening Levels in LEGO Games: 1. "Sand Central Station" from "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes" 2. "Theatrical Pursuits" from "LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes" 3. "Prologue - The Battle of Endor" from "LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens" 4. "Struck Off The List" from "LEGO Marvel's Avengers" 5. "Prologue" from "LEGO Jurassic World" 6. "Geonosian Arena" from "LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars" 7. "Pursuers in the Sewers" from "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham" 8. "No Eson of Mine" from "LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2" 9. "New Kid On Thee Block" from "LEGO DC Super-Villains" 10. "Follow the LEGO Brick Road" from "LEGO Dimensions"
I already knew it was gonna be good old Lego marvel, one of the most well balanced and nostalgic levels, mixed with some comedy, and a amazing boss fight.
Whenever I think of how much fun I have with lego games I immediately think of lego star wars 3. The beginning was fun and creative, the bosses were simple yet entertaining, destroying non stop swarms of droids was so much fun, and tge unique combat when you didn't have a lightsaber. I can go on forever about how good this level is.
lego city undercover will always be my fav lego game, I personally enjoyed the slow start with lots of "side quest" let's say, cause I felt like they were making me explore more the city while also making me understand the open world nature of the game (I personally nevel felt like any other game was really open world, or at least not like this one). I personally enjoyed that part
I hope soon have a ranking of every single Lego dimensions Worlds, that would make a fantastic video! With a lot of variety from your personal experience. Nice video my personal favourite open Level it's the Lego Star Wars 3, I also replayed it a lot of times with my custom characters, see ya!
I love this content (ranking every ...... from worst to best) the best. You can really see how much time you put in your videos, but i love all your videos 😁
I know youve had it quite low but my favourite opening Level is from Lego The hobbit. I have nostalgia with it, but I love the length and I think its very well thought out
The mad disrespect to secret plans the first level of lego star wars 2. I get not counting the first two lego star wars games because 90% of the time what you could say about them applies to complete saga but it was still a first level at first. One I replayed quite a bit.
Lego Batman 2, no doubt. That opening level is fantastic and the cutscenes are extremely memorable. The game holds a very dear place in my heart, I love lego Batman 2
In my opinion the first level of Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the best, because it just shows the End of the sixth movie the best! Great Video as always!😃
Your video's bring out so much nostalgia in me and i feel like play all those lego games again keep going with those super good video's much love to you iam comming from Holland but your video's are great
Absolutly loved the Video, they are so amazing and relaxing!! Maybe do a Video on how though it is to play every Lego game to 100% next. I would like it. Anyways keep up the good work ❤️
I think Lego avengers had the best opening because it’s so epic with the cutscene. But I might be biased because it is also really nostalgic for me because it was my first Lego game
Lego Batman 2 is gonna be in the top 5 I’m calling it P.S if your reading this rugged eagle you should do this for every final level too (if you haven’t already)
One of my favorite final levels, and levels overall, is TCS’s “Into the Death Star.” Watching those regular Star Destroyers go down similar to the _Executor,_ navigating the Death Star II’s superstructure, cutting the power to the core’s shield, the explosion chase, everything about it is solid.
I really admire time and effort you put in these videos and I know you want to elevate the quality of your videos but I don't think this is the way. In my opinion, there are too many cuts and it gets exhausting after a while, especially when the video is a longer one. I get it that you want for your audience to stay engaged, but It's really starting to get on my nerves while watching. Cutting video after literally 1 or 2 seconds of it playing and then adding a new one doesn't give enough time to see what's going on for someone like me who hasn't played every single LEGO game. Don't take this negatively because I really admire the work you put into these videos, but maybe just pump the brake while editing.
Lego levels tend to be pretty meh until I revisit them for completion, but if I had to choose one, I guess Skywalker Saga New Hope. The optional routes are pretty simple, but they are a nice way to mix things up.
I absolutely love the opening level to LEGO Batman 2 it was so nostalgic, it was the first LEGO game I played and it’s too iconic and LEGO Marvel Super-heroes 1 was very iconic and it uses all of Hulks, Iron Mans and Spider-Mans abilities but they do it really well
Lego Batman 2 is actually my favourite video game of all time, so I'm glad to see it at number 2. I loved the first level so much. It's actually one of my top 5 favourite levels out of every lego game
To be honest, the battle on endor was best recreated in LEGO Star Wars the force awakens. But the emperor fight was the best in LEGO Star Wars the complete saga.
