The Coulson thing is actually a reference to Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Fury orders his resurrection via Project Tahiti in which they replaced the memories of how much he suffered during the operations with him actually being on vacation on Tahiti.
Doesn't that come after Lego Marvel Superheroes though? When it comes to a death scene, Lego/TT usually does it in a funny way or keeps the character alive afterwards.
Or maybe I'm wrong.

For Spider-Man swinging on air, I always imagined Spider-Man swung using the Helicarrier, thus meaning he can't swing on it.

It may be sad to hear, but Lego games aren't that popular, especially after the lack of them this decade.
I found rugged eagle, and I honestly thought he had about 3 million subs, because of the consistent quality.

Venom probably doesnt react to Black Bolt because Black Bolt in LMSH1 is basically a Cyclops reskin without the beam attack.
Absorbing Man actually absorbs stuff, but my theory is that the devs couldnt think on how you would use element absorption on the game (tbh idk either)
In the comics and in the series (like Spider-Man) the Absorbing Man can copy any material he enters in contact at will like he does in his idle animation in LEGO Marvel's Avengers, like, he can become rubber by holding a ball or webs by being shot by Spider-Man.
Oh, and Absorbing Man can absorb things in the comics, I guess they just didnt give him absorbing powers in game because it would require TT to create entire new mechanics and stuff like that.
Makes me wonder why they bothered to put him in when he can't even do his gimmick

They should give him metal and lava transformations + super strength when any of these forms are triggered

4:25 there’s a similar glitch in Jurassic Park. I used to play it a lot and discovered a glitch where you can clip OOB in the Dimorphodon enclosure in the floor.

You wanna know what’s really strange? The freaking character roster in this game!
At first glance it seems like a pretty comprehensive run down of every major player in the Marvel multiverse, but if you look closer you’ll notice that these characters do NOT share the same world. For Example, the main Avengers characters are primarily based on their MCU looks, the Spider-Man characters draw upon the Ultimate Spider-Man series, the X-Men are based on the 90s cartoon etc. This roster is a bizarre hodgepodge of different sources colliding together in one big sandbox where ANYTHING can happen!
So what? The game isn't based on one source, so it could pull designs from different Marvel media.
That's literally every lego game their crossovers that what they do

Game is based on the sets, and sets are probably based on the most popular/marketable versions of characters

This game definitely needs a full on remake that fixes all those details and restore character creation! I know we all love Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, but that game didn’t have character creation at all… I want it back with more customization features then ever.

also in the 'mcu' apparently coulson's revived for agents of shield if that isn't in the past but it isn't because i checked a timeline of the mcu and which events happen
did i mention that eddie brock got cancer but it was healed from the venom symbiote when he wanted to let go but the suit made him feel like it needed him and it came to reality after it left him

In lego marvels super heroes: There is building next to a gas station. You can jump inside the building from the side because the wall is not really there. (there is garage going down next to it). I found this clitch with my brother and we made it our base :)

13:41 that building you are talking about is supposed to be the Avengers mansion and those walkways are supposed to resemble A. Because superheroes are every subtle.

In lego dimensions a painting of Hannibal from the A-team appears in the ghostbusters 2016 and fantastic beasts world and is later reused in lego marvel 2. While this is strange it's even stranger it doesn't appear in the A-team world.

Actully it’s all making sense
1: Sandman can swim as human as he’s human
2: And the grand central station in free play the clock is destroyed
3: Stark tower Actully has unusual shape and the window is not a window
4: The playgrounds are Actully destroyed due to fights
5: The skeltons some skeltons you can get facial hair on them but they eventually rot away
6: The buildings reflections are Easter eggs to what the city in marvel irl looks like
7: Johnny storm needs a lot of fire to become human torch and not just normal fire
8: Lady liberty is the actul figure but bigger
9: venom Actully can withstand black bolts scream as it’s not as powerful to kill him
10: They Actully don’t pick up the money as they have actul Lego money you have studs
11: Damage control Actully can’t repair as they don’t have what they need
12: The repair from Claws remaking cars is a bug but the devs are too lazy to fix it
13: It takes him longer to make structures as he needs something to cover it with
14: He Actully doesn’t die as Lego games are mostly similar
15: Yeah the fall threw the floor is a bug but the devs said a refrearence to the backrooms so they won’t fix it

my headcanon is that lego marvel superheros 1 and 2 are shows/movies in the lego avengers game which could also explain some of the weird things that dont make sense in lego marvel superheroes 1 and 2
