I learned a trick to get animal smells from vehicle interiors while managing a Chevy dealership in central Pa 20 years ago. Automotive Satellite Television Network (broadcast to vehicle dealers) would have shows with all sorts of tips and tricks on reconditioning and this one was from there. Buy a can of ground coffee and an apple. Cut the apple into quarters and lay them on top of the opened can of coffee. Put the can centrally located in the vehicle and leave it inside for 24 hours with the windows closed. It will take most of the animal smell out. I don't know why it works but it does. It's cheap to try so give it a whirl.

Some dog owners can absolutely destroy things. They don’t tear things up in the car and the seats still look good as new. The worst that it gets is they get slobber on the window that needs to be cleaned off.
You are missing the $450 from the detailing guy, and you are understating the man-hours used including yours. I would say your calculation of cost its $2k short. However, it's a good deal. Congrats

Hi Craig. You did a brilliant job on cleaning that Tahoe. It's like brand new that's why you made all that profit. Well done buddy. Keep it up. I love your videos.
I can answer that in case Craig doesn't reply. The first thing he does is the detailing. Then he can see the vehicle for what it really needs. An additional pre-sale cleaning wouldn't be anywhere near the $450 he dishes out at first.
@@TailoredReaction I was in the car business for years and I never gave it a final type detail when I first got it. I can see what you mean though. He sees how much of the gunk they can get out of the carpets and the like to see if he has to replace them. I just hate to do things twice.
@@TailoredReaction $250 for the Detail and $200 for the scratch removal. 👍 And Yes, it's always good to get a deep cleaning done first and see what scratch will come out to see what you'll be working with.

Why not the bank have some kind of sale for the repo cars instead of bringing to the auction? The auction was another layer of making so much money, by the time it was passed to the consumer, another greedy car dealers will sucker the consumers.

Thanks again for the update
Craig, their at it again. The "What's up"boys are back on your channel.
I feel Sorry for the poor Bastards who were charge over the price and now will lose their car. Not your fault i know but These banks Must pay for what they do to the Public! First with Mortgages now Cars.🤬
You did good, It’s also satisfying to know that you turned out a great vehicle and the customer should be happy for a long time
Thanks for the Free Advertisement for 3M.
try to find a factory floor matt to cover that hole in the carpet
Craig do you mind sharing the information for the upholstery company that redid that seat for you?
Nice Job !! ............ Bless
Love to see good people making money!!!
Thank you!
Some dog owners can absolutely destroy things. Me and my wife have a lab and golden retriever that we will take places with us sometimes but we bath them every 2 weeks, sounds like a long time but most people bath their dogs 1 time a month if not less, and we have a seat cover over the seats. They don’t tear things up in the car and the seats still look good as new. The worst that it gets is they get slobber on the window that needs to be cleaned off.
23:51 I think your editor added an extra zero on accident lol
Thank you I learned something keep up the great vids
Do you not clear over the areas that you fixed?
You are missing the $450 from the detailing guy, and you are understating the man-hours used including yours. I would say your calculation of cost its $2k short. However, it's a good deal. Congrats
I was just about to comment this as well the numbers at the end are way off but either way it was a big win
Light bill, taxes, mechanic, guy working on the body, shipping, etc.
You seem like a man with integrity
Invest in a steamer !! That woulda took off the tuff stains in the interior !
Hey Craig, great vid, found the text pop ups unnecessary and wrong. They have 1 too many zero's, it says 130,000 should 13,000, same with $140,000 should be $14,000, same with $250,000, should be $25,000. Keep up the good work though!
Yes, please stop it, very distracting and just too many
Just because car values drop how would that force people to have their cars repossessed.
Hi Craig. You did a brilliant job on cleaning that Tahoe. It's like brand new that's why you made all that profit. Well done buddy. Keep it up. I love your videos.
I do my best! This was a hot day too!
Detailing cost?
$450
Junk yards or puck a part has parts for vehicles
Great video as always, Craig. I really like those Ridge wallets!
23:42 you wrote 130000 instead of 13000
Why do you detail it before doing other repairs? Don't you have to detail it again when it is ready to sell? I hate doing the same thing twice.
I’d be pissed if I bought and found out it had spray paint everywhere even in the rain you can see it wasn’t a perfect match
Its going to look like complete shit sprayed over bondo in less than a year.
The buyer picked it up at night too. Wait until he sees it in the light!
As someone who has been in the autobody industry for 20 years this video was infuriating to watch lol. This is the defintion of Hack.
The buyer was there in the day time left after sunset by the time financing was done and bought it $7k under retail. Yes, it could have been done better but then price would be higher, would sit longer, and cost me more money 2x
@@FlyingWheels See where your coming from. Gotta make a buck. But man that one got me. I couldn't have lived with that but I don't own a car dealership. Also that Cadillac carpet is super good stuff. Dunno if you could have found a used one and power washed the hell out of it to clean it. I've seen my cousin cleanup some pretty terrible Caddy carpets in his detailing business. BTW Been a user of a Ridge wallet for about 3 years and love it. Congrats on the sponsorship
Thats badass but can someone chime in and let us know how does one pay taxes on such deal or deals? How much of that does he get too keep 🤔
You knew you weren't gambling on this car
Lesson 1.....craig loathes dogs.....check. Lmao
I would've just replaced the whole carpet pad. Not expensive at all.
Craig, Craig, Craig.......Do you not how to make the interior smell like a new car???? Got yo your local Hobby store or leather shop and get a bag or leathers remnants, then place them in the car for a day or two. Waaa Laaa new car leather smell. I've done it and works awesome. Give it a try.
This one needed an Ozone wipe. I don't have an ozone machine but Craig does. I don't do very many disaster details these days.
Craig did you include the auto detail cost in the final numbers ?
I forgot about that
@@FlyingWheels ok no a big difference in profit for you nice score please keep up your videos..
Do you want to sell the hummer as is now instead of fixing it?
Just did this week
Any one can Buy low and Sell High, You don't need to go Yale Business school to do so, If anyone want to do the same go to your local Dmv get an application for a dealer fallow the instructions pay about $800 in fees and you can do the same as this Guy
if it was all just that easy...
Why not the bank have some kind of sale for the repo cars instead of bringing to the auction?
The auction was another layer of making so much money, by the time it was passed to the consumer, another greedy car dealers will sucker the consumers.
Hey Craig you want to sell that hummer I ask about a Dodge Ram you had in the background 1 time and you told me it was all ready gone
I sold the hummer yesterday to another dealer
I’ve watched numerous videos with interviews with people on their death bed, and something most of them say is this. “I wish I enjoyed life more and didn’t work so much”. I personally haven’t forgot that.
Crag do you not have junk yards in your area? Here in VA you could get a whole new seat for $50 and carpet for about the same. Would have saved you a lot of time and effort.
9:12 That hand off, you guys practice that all day or sumthin? lol
all day every day
@@FlyingWheels 🤣
Great video as always, but I found the words and phrases jumping up on the screen every few seconds annoying, distracting and pointless.
I think it’s better without them.
Otherwise really enjoying your content, thanks!
great stuff thanks
On something expensive like the Tahoe wouldn't redoing the upholstery be better on a seat or 2? I pay $1750 2 tone diamond stitched and door panels and center console. I can't imagine to think that a seat would cost $150-200 to redo
