Nice score! I just picked up a 120k miles 1995 gt for $1500. Bought it without even opening the hood. Found out it has a complete trick flow top end kit, bbk cold air, GMS mas air flow, 24lb injectors, aluminum radiator, aluminum drive shaft.
Paint is terrible from the sun but its a clean Arizona car, pristine black leather interior.

I just got a 1988 lx hatch with the 5.0 and manual for free, I did it in return for some pest control work, when I got it it didn’t run and I fixed it by throwing a zip tie around the steering colum to hold the ignition switch connector in place and boom she lives

Good find! Deals are definitely out there. I picked up an 85 GT ttop with engine for 1000 dollars. Took it home put in my spare t5 replaced all fluids and had it running in 3 hours.

Nice score on the parts! Just to take a guess I'd say a DSS motor. They had those double relief pistons and used to advertise the .040 308 all the time for some reason

Great find ! Have always owned at least one Fox Capri or Mustang since I was 16 in 1987. Always in Columbus. Not necessarily rare, except when you find one without roached front frame rails/strut towers in these parts ! Subscribed... Looks like some good watching ahead !

Very similar to what I have. 4 cyl coupe that’s getting a 302/T5 topped with Windsor JR heads, N41 cam, RPM intake and Holley 650
Nice price on a car with a shortblock rather than full roller, even if its max bored (unless it's one of the few that can do .060 over). In the beginning, Fox bodies had a manual rack and pinion with power steering as an option. Funny there wasn't a battery cut off switch for a drag car. Then you got into the parts department, and you REALLY scored at that price. I would be so tempted just to work with what was there, if it was my car, and see how far those parts would go with the right tune.

I'm in Texas. I have a 1990 coupe with a parts car for sale. I have all the parts to make a nice coupe. It's for sale. Coupe has a title and parts car doesn't have a title. Coupe is mainly rust free other than surface rust.

@@BDauto86 No doubt. For me I was referring to the heavy bondo and such. Rusty floor. These are rot boxes and usually have it festering all over if seen in one place. Not a bad race car build but if you're looking to restore OE this might not be the car for you is all. No doubt a great value and pick overall.
heads are a windsor jr 180cc intake ports 1.94/1.6 couldnt find the cam tho part number probably superceded at this point

Dan I found a local stock 1990 gt 5 speed in good shape over all besides besides bottoms of the strut towers and the tops of the frame rail are bad. What's the max you would recommend spending . Just need a rough estimate thanks.
