    Thank you, Allie, so much. I've been in Afghanistan for a number of weeks now, and it was wonderful to see you bring my beautiful country and the sport I love back to life for me. It'll be a long time before I get to fish again. Keep em coming, lady! Thank you again!

    Enjoyed the video a lot... The footage of the streams you were fishing and the land around it reminded me so much of the streams we fly fish in North Carolina and Tennessee. It's hard to believe all the people that's never took the time or opportunities to go out and enjoy what you just showed on your videos. And have you ever thought when you catch a native trout you may have been the first person to ever laid hands on that fish . Looking forward to your next adventure and thanks for sharing

    I attended Kinzua a few years ago. Joe Humphrey taught fly casting, and put on a fishing demonstration. I recall him fishing a very rough section of water that I would of never tried, but he caught fish out of it. I also remember the guy you interviewed (Steve). He used to coach football.

      WHOAH! Someone actually replied to my RUclips comment. Pretty sweet. :) Anyway, I have broken a fish's jaw before. I was trying to extract a hook and it threw one big twitch. It was on catch and release water, so the only thing I could (legally) do is release it back. It was a sad sobering reminder that fishing can easily become a bloodsport.

      Daniel Weddle... You’re wrong! If you hold them vertically by their lip, it does no damage. Horizontally is a different story. A hook does more damage to their lip and cartilage than holding them does. Tell Joe Humphreys that he’s been doing it wrong for the last 60 years

They have the best fly tiers, casting instructors, vendors, seminars. These are the Certified and the Certifiers, as in casting instructors etc. Go to their site you can see who's doing what seminars. People like Joan Wolf, Kelly Gallup, authors like A K Best. The Movers and shakers in fly fishing I guess you'd say. It's usually in West Yellowstone, but this year it's Boise at The Boise Center, near Boise State. Check it out Thought you might like it. It's great to see women taking up the sport, especially beautiful women such as yourself. Have you ever fished The Little J? If not, do yourself a favor and check it out. So much bug activity and beautiful streambred brown trout

    I just know that there is a place where you can practice casting fly fishing,and this place doesnt seem to be exist in my country,thus only fewer people using fly fishing technique here,more like the local using a basic fishing kit or by lure fishing

    • @tyanez
      @tyanez 6 лет назад

      Agreed. It's better to support a trout from underneath (or use a net), remove the hook, and let him go. I love your attitude, Allie. So fun.
