Thank you, Allie, so much. I've been in Afghanistan for a number of weeks now, and it was wonderful to see you bring my beautiful country and the sport I love back to life for me. It'll be a long time before I get to fish again. Keep em coming, lady! Thank you again!
As a father having a daughter. There is one thing most irrelevant about her. She makes me smile and that is what i do when i watch your videos. Isn't smiling great. Keep up the good work. You fit your role in life perfect. Keep Smiling!
Seeing such a beautiful smile and pleasing personality in an outdoor environment is something that the outdoor community should reward and cherish constantly and never endingly.......😊😊
Awesome seeing newbies going through their journey to learn how to flyfish. I have yet to try it, but I plan to take lessons soon and get really into it. I just wish there were more places around me (San Francisco Bay Area) to flyfish more! Keep it up Allie
I'm in the process of teaching my wife of 44 years how to fly fish and I have to admit, your video made me giggle. It's good to see more women getting into the sport. Tight lines!
Enjoyed the video a lot... The footage of the streams you were fishing and the land around it reminded me so much of the streams we fly fish in North Carolina and Tennessee. It's hard to believe all the people that's never took the time or opportunities to go out and enjoy what you just showed on your videos. And have you ever thought when you catch a native trout you may have been the first person to ever laid hands on that fish . Looking forward to your next adventure and thanks for sharing
I attended Kinzua a few years ago. Joe Humphrey taught fly casting, and put on a fishing demonstration. I recall him fishing a very rough section of water that I would of never tried, but he caught fish out of it. I also remember the guy you interviewed (Steve). He used to coach football.
@@OutdoorsAllie You are truly welcome, I pretty much watch all your fishing videos. Great information and enjoyable to watch, hope you have more coming on the way soon. 👍👍👍👍

Nice video. Small bit of advice from someone who has made a grievous error in the past---never hold trout by the jaw. It only takes one small shake and you can easily break the fishes jaw.
WHOAH! Someone actually replied to my RUclips comment. Pretty sweet. :) Anyway, I have broken a fish's jaw before. I was trying to extract a hook and it threw one big twitch. It was on catch and release water, so the only thing I could (legally) do is release it back. It was a sad sobering reminder that fishing can easily become a bloodsport.
Daniel Weddle... You’re wrong! If you hold them vertically by their lip, it does no damage. Horizontally is a different story. A hook does more damage to their lip and cartilage than holding them does. Tell Joe Humphreys that he’s been doing it wrong for the last 60 years
My granpa once told me..."you see a purty girl who can cast a fly and outfish you...marry her...she'd be waking you up to do the things you love to do..."
For killer action in the smaller streams in the ANF a holy grill caddis emerger fly kills them. I know that area like back of my hands. Try some dry flies too.
