"Air flow meters manufacturers hate him. Do this one weird trick in your grow room to... "
;)
Oh wow. Awesome test Shane! Haven't seen an in-depth air flow video like this anywhere, thanks for the info!
Thank you Shane. That is incredibly helpful. Making something like this is so simple and effective.
Great vid , enjoyed it . Finally a sensible indoor channel you dont have to correct to save other people from bad info and lack of the presenters experience. Subbed up. Looking forward to more.
I subscribed for the Irish accent. "Thur-tee centuh-meeters"
😅😅😅😅😅
It's fucking brilliant isn't it. My favourite is tinggggg for thing.
The tickness of da caird
Had my 100 for just over 2 weeks and the difference is unreal. So happy with the purchase. Ps. Good vid ;)
Shane is trying to take over the cat home market 😂
Great video, love how resourceful you are, thanks for all the other videos you make too. Outstanding
Now we know: first name is Shane, last name is MacGyver.
it was Sheamus, wasn't it?
Brilliant love it. Best thing iiv seen yet made with cardboard box and a credit card and drain pipe. Bluepeter badge is in the post.. 😂😂.
For real banging idea
thank you
Fair play your a saint, the work you do on not just the mind boggling (at first) world of LED is priceless but the extra stuff is absolutely beautiful of you. Have a beautiful day my man 😘👍
Ive removed as much of that ducting as poss from my room, buying 5 inch solid duct and a 90 degree bend, the best thing apart from improved airflow was the reduction in noise, i cant believe people with designated "rooms" actually use this ducting and not solid pipe and bends they are not even expensive
Kinks, bends, pinches, along with the spiral vent tube all contribute greatly to what is known as “shock loss” in underground mining ventilation technologist speak. I breathed the air underground for 42 years. Smooth solid tubing, minimal bends.
I’ve got a silencer attached to my fan. Not impressed with the air flow if I’m honest. I wonder if the silencer is having a negative affect due to it being much wider than the fan
Appreciate that now I can find the best position and duct tubing length to use for my DIY grow cabinet. Got the T4 cloud line coming in a few days.
great stuff! I really like your channel...as a new grower your videos help fit the pieces of this puzzle together for me! Thank you.
Excellent for new growers Thank you. A great one later would be same vid with db readings, thanks guys
Wohoo!! New vid from Shane :) Always enjoy your vids mister. And this time som handy tips! Excellent!!
Absolutely brilliant video 👏👏👏
So simple but so effective 👍 brilliant
Shane, that's really cool 😎
You are a humble man, Shane. Thanks
As always Very valuable content always learning something from your channels :)
such a simple, but so so cool idea. thanks so much
Awesome ! Thanks. Will be using this thing later.
Great job, very informative. Thank you.
Good video bud this could help alot of people out in the long run
i use a forced air system rather than pulling air from the system. pulling air allows dust, insects and pathogens like mold to be drawn into the grow. I use a filter box i built myself that uses an AC grille and a typical 20x20x1 air conditioner filter. the box in acoustically insulated with cloth interior. the box reduces noise about 60% and prevents mold, dust and insects from being drawn into the airstream and contaminating the grow. if you're using a filter simply place your filter on your outlet and force air into the enclosure and your escaping air will flow through the filter while at the same time giving you the protection of a forced air system. ive had great success with isolated environments controlling insects and mold because this system is preventative and works very well at keeping things you don't want outside your grow.
hey Shane! Awesome videos! great work.
Very good info. Thanks again Shane.
Great video. That’s an AC Infinity fan, correct? I just set one up in a 4x4 tent. My first indoor setup. My question: do you recommend setting the fan to auto mode, where the fan might shut off when optimal conditions are met, or do you recommend leaving it on 24/7 to control odor and air flow? Thanks
Awesome video man. I have a question about stacking a pot on top of another 5 gallon felt pot Will that increase root depth?
Most useful channel out there. Thanks Shane and Migro
Hi there, how do you find that temperature controlled Fan? Thanks
That was awsome. Amazing thankyou. Mind blown
Great video Shane.
You could pass as a Gallagher brother lol you deffo look like noel.. Love your videos mate been sat watching a few of them good job man..
Good visual example instead of a number graph type explanation 👍
Very nicely done, I have moisture build up venting should help.
Thank you for showing the info
Simple and smart. Great idea
3:37 So there you go! Were getting a reading! xD Genious!
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Cool, appreciate you sharing this.
Hey Shane! Thanks man love ya! You should consider testing the new optic phantom xl, it uses the Samsung 301h and advertises a 2.78 efficacy
Do you have a filter cloth inside your Charcoal filter to help protect your fan & prevent the filter from dusting your room with activated charcoal?
Well done and thank you very helpful video
Cool info as always ✊
Another helpful video!
Can you do an honest review on the Sansi E27 grow light bulbs?
Cool idea thanks for sharing 🤘
Great info thanks for sharing 🤙🏼
This is the idea is was looking for! Perfect!
I have an innovative and intelligent air duct fan, which is connected to WiFi and can be operated by mobile phone, which is more convenient and fast. I would like to invite you to review it, and then help me make a 1-minute video. Would you like it? Looking forward to your reply
Fantastic shane..
Shane your a diamond 💎 thx very much 🍀
Great Idea!
great hack, thanks :)
Smart! Great hack.
I suppose an intake fan would also effect this only thinking this cause my tent is usually a tiny bit puffed out in stead of sucked in but yeah awesome idea Shane.
Do you think it's better for c02 uptake to have fresh air blowing in vs a sealed room? I'm about to swap from a 10x22ft room to a 10x10 tent & trying to decide how to set up my c02 w a portable AC in the tent ect
Thanks Shane,
Not rly what I was looking for but that box is genius
All i can think right now is a sound level... Optimizing flow with lowest sound print posible. Thx Shane!
ivan buntic ::: Use metal pipe for best soundproofing, and airflow.
Interesting and informative, as ever. :-)
How do a draw this measure meter? 90 degree angle with 1cm between?
thank you!!
Should I get mine when in veg.like does it make a differnce
yes Shane I did enjoy this , but I eat a lot of oil from the medicine plant.
top illustration :)
Awesome update. 😊
Genius mate 👏 💪💪
thank you for this video
Very nice video!
what a genius IDEA... 🤘
Great idea.
supercool, thx!
my favourite grow bloke
Clever little device!
You're only a legend.
Link for the fan ??
I'm a new grower sir and I truly have a good question I have a 4x8x7 with 2-K4000 Aglex and my air system is an 8 inch vac. Hooked in the tent and I'm worried that it's to much and someone said that I would have to watch so that it doesn't suck my turpines out if it's to strong
Shane ive heard a few people say not to use these in grows bc it kills terpenes falavanoida and im wondering...i want my harvest to be nice and lovely full of terps and flavs sooooo what do u think ? Maybe an idea for a video too. 1 tent uses carbon filter 1 doesn't
Good day Guys. I want to run my extraction fans hot air into tubes that will sit half a foot above my reservare floor. I want to utilize the warm air to agitate (oxygenate) the reservare. Do you think it could work? Would it put to much pressure on the extraction fan? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for the cool video!
You are a genius. That is all.
wow that's awesome
thank you very smart very interesting
Awesome engineering
Brilliant.
What was the hack about it ?
Clever, nice one
thanks
Good idea
Would have been interesting to see normal ducting Vs manrose rigid ducting, same length size and bends
its not exhaustive..Nice one!
Awesome dude
Ha! Your just TOO Much Fun.....
✌️❤️😁🌿
You're the real MVP Shane ! if you're ever in south portugal hit me up. I'll show you how the sausage is made and we can have a session. (*pause*) that sounded gay ! what I meant is I'll show up my setup and give up a taste. .....of my microgreens 😅
Nice brother.
This is such snoner invention :)
You could order a 8$ airflow meter from ali and it would work just fine.... I made a small hole in the door to my grow and a mount for a china airflow meter. It gives me an indication of the passive airintake in the room ... i can then monitor air intake from my adjustable intakes or the total outtake in the room. i run 2 filtered prima klimas and one go out the house and another goes into the next room saving heat.
The walls of the tent are a great airflow meter. They suck in slightly, job done.
slighty lol.
ive just set up a 2x4 with a 700m/h 150mm centrafugal (yeah over kill but it works great)
poor tent lools like its hooked up to a vac pac machine when fan is on
Epic.
Enough said.
Great video Shane thanks for sharing, just wondering what what the name of that exhaust fan you held up there that you liked with the temperature control on it? Tia
Hi, its the 'Prima Klima' I've used for over 10 years now. They are fairly cheap now and a great way to control temperatures in the grow room.
MIGRO great, thanks so much, happy growing 🤙🏼
@@MIGROLIGHT is the black one an ac infinity? if so who supplied them in europe?
