Blagdon Affinity Grand Octagon Pond - Summer in full swing

Update on the Affinity pond. The plants are growing incredibly well this second summer, having to trim them back a lot.
The Oranda and Ryukin have moved on (to my niece’s aquarium) and the Comets and Shubunkins from the raised wooden pond are back where they started, in the Affinity.

That’s absolutely lovely,, I have a small garden but really want a pond, we have a raised bricked garden bed and I was thinking about digging it out and turning it into a pond, but being disabled digging is not easy for me, do this pond may be the solution.. would you mind doing me a HUGE favour and either sit by the pond or get someone else to do I could see the size next to a person to really get the feel for the size, I would be very grateful, your garden looks amazing by the way 👍

Hi, thanks very much for your nice comments 😊 I’d personally highly recommend this pond, absolutely love it and it was pretty straight forward to assemble, much easier than digging a large hole in the ground lol The Grand Octagon is a good sized pond and is bigger than the videos make it look. I’ve just uploaded a short video of the pond with my 13 year old daughter sitting by it, hopefully this will give you a good idea of its size. Thanks again 🙏
