How is it after a few months of use? Regarding algae build up and how clear the windows stay without regular cleaning etc.

Hi @richardsboi we really enjoy the pond in the evening especially in the summer with the added warmth.
I would say in the hottest part of summer (uk) without any maintenance, the windows will be clear for 2 months but I would suggest staying on top of it as it’s a bit of a pain in the backside having to empty and start again.
In the winter it’s more like 4 months before you notice any green.
Have a look at Barley straw for algae which we use and makes a big difference with zero effort!

How do you stop it freezing in the winter as it’s not in the ground
It was honestly never an issue… we are in the south of England and can’t even recall a layer of ice forming on top to be honest!
