I recommend a cover to protect from predators. Cat's would love to play with this after dark. Looks beautiful, it would be brilliant in a conservatory. Well done, excellent video.
Way easier than digging 3' down into rocky soil in AZ. But I do like the added benefit of the in ground insulation that you can't get above ground. But still a great product for a patio you cant dig into or if you don't have the back for it. Great option.
Yes it definitely has its place. A great pond for a patio area. And the windows give a different perspective and I’m sure the kids love seeing the fish
I love your vids! I've always wanted a pond, but never had the living arrangements to have one. I adore my tetras, but goldfish in a pond or giant aquarium are my dream wet pet.
@@Mountain_Aquatics I rent an apartment in a 4-plex city house with no yard and no outside electricity or water. The housing market here is nuts but I'd love to find a bigger place and would be happy with a decent sized indoor pond or aquarium. What size is this one? I love it!
@@cosmoplakat9549 it’s not too big and a lovely size to put on a patio. At least you can have a nice aquarium and wait for the day you can finally have a pond. You’ve got plenty of time to plan it and make it perfect 👍🏻
I have been really enjoying your channel since your viral pond cleaning video! Keep up the great work. Someday i hope to have a proper outdoor pond in northern US
It has both mechanical and biological filtration media as well as the UV. Should do the job as long as you don’t overstock the pond. You’ll have to check the future updates to see how well it does 😉
@@Mountain_Aquatics looking forward to it. I’ve been subscribed since you only had a handful of subs (your tours of local fish shops got me - I’m from the Wirral, now live in N.Wales). Great to see the channel doing so well. Keep it up, fellas. 👍
Busts out a full chefs knife to open a box. Well done
😂😂 go big or go home 💪🏻
Let us know what you think 👍🏻
really nice relaxed logical build style, no need to be hard just chill and follow it through for a great enjoyable hobby that's full of life ... GG
It's gorgeous!
Would you come to Scotland to build my pond at all? This is a serious question
What a great looking pond, love how Blagdon have made it so easy to build. Might have to see how one looks in my garden now.
Go for it!

Thanks for the tip!

Do you not have the space for a little above ground on like this?

Can’t wait to see this.
Kind regards from Scotland
Do you think you’ve got room for one?

Thank you so much! Im glad you’ve been enjoying the videos, I’m sure you will get your pond one day! What’s holding you back?
@@Mountain_Aquatics time and budget 🙂
You’ll get there. Start slowly and do most of the work yourself. You can make filter systems fairly easily
Great video chaps, enjoyed as always :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video, thanks. Could you detail how you connected the pump etc to the electrics and what plants you have used/intend to use please?
Yes we will show you more in one of the updates. Make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss it 😁
Nice but why dont they build planting shelves in these ponds? Also great for small fish and goldfish NOT kOI as ive seen some put in these.
Yes I wouldn’t put koi in them. They do have somewhere for small plants to go. Like a pocket
Looking good 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I love it, however the size of the equipment used seems too big, the pump etc takes up all the space.
Yes I suppose it does a little. But it is a good filter though. If you were to customise it you could add an external filter?
Can you add a nice colour gravel to the base on top of the liner, looks nice by the way
Yes gravel works well with these
😻skills boys
Will be a couple of updates and additions so stay tuned 👍🏻
Pretty cool, I don’t this the U.S. has any kits like this that I know of
I think the company do trade in America but perhaps under a different name. Maybe they sell something similar?
I have 1 indoors full of cichlids tangs but would never leave fish in one outdoors in winter not unheated anyway
Depends what fish you have and where you live in the world. Would love to see your indoor one though
As the viewing windows are made of Perspex how or what can used to clean algae build up from them? Enjoyed the video 🤓👍
A simple sponge and some elbow grease work great 👍🏻
@@Mountain_Aquatics lol 👍
How long do they actually last and not fade outside
Somebody else commented they had one for 10 years
Ive just bought this product but i will like to know what fuse amp was used for the electric connection.
3amp, 5amp or 12amp?
Whish is best?
3 amp for each plug 👍🏻
@@Mountain_Aquatics perfect
Where can you find a pond like this???
If you are based in the UK we can supply this pond directly to you
How long did it take the 2 of you to build it?
It took us a bit longer because we had to keep setting the camera and explaining things through but I think normally would take up to 2 hours
What amp fuse do you use plz in rhe plug.
2 plugs are needed
One for the pump which is 10W and one for the UV bulbs which is 5W.
A 3 amp fuse was fitted in each plug
@@Mountain_Aquatics Thank you.
That 5 in 1 doesn’t look like a lot of media for a 600 litre. Does it work a bit differently with ponds?
