    Sums its all up. Buy a pre made pond not build one yourself. Buy fully grown fish not select some Tosai and enjoy watching them mature.
    Youve missed two of the most exciting parts of the hobby

    I'm sure the girl would cry even more if she understood the stress and struggle her fish are potentially about to go through. You should be setting an example for fish keeping not making click bait at the expense of the koi. Lovely pond and you could've done things far more sensibly. I hope they are alright in the end

    Keeping Koi is a long learning process, even for me I learn every single day. The thing with making videos like this, is that there will be people out there who think what you are doing is right. Maybe not tomorrow but I think you will have some major problems with the tank and koi in the near future. Don’t get me wrong,
    Not here to hate but please do things right. And never transport koi again in plastic boxes plz 😅 ✌️

      there are many people who purchase koi outside dealers .. is there a minimum set of checks to prevent the risk of adding parasites or bacterial infections into your own pond? Both with or without a quarentine setup. Not sure if you have ever done a video on this topic.

    • @TheKoiPartner
      @TheKoiPartner 2 года назад +6

      @@harvindersinghuppal2162 first you have to ask yourself where do I buy my koi? I only buy koi at a breeder of dealer. Second: always check the koi for parasites or other bacterial infections before you enter it to your quarantine pond. Third: always do multiple checks during the quarantine period, stress them to see if they have any potential bacteria or parasites and also for KHV. Last but not least: always check them again before entering the main pond and even after that. But there are so many ways to do it right and wrong…

      There is nothing stupid about this comment. Even if he was somehow able to keep the water quality at safe levels, koi are meant to grow anywhere between 24-52 inches. How do you think a total of 216-468 inches of koi would fit in a 1000 gallon pond? If all 9 of them somehow all reached their full size in this size pond, they will most likely feel very cramped in a pond that small.

    Wow so many negative comments.. beautiful fish me personally I like to grow my own out. Definitely do daily water changes until your filtration adjust to that giant bio load you introduced. Don't overfeed. That black koi with the white belly is remarkable. Good luck

    No hate I just think that you’re hurting the koi moving them in tubs (hence the blood) and grabbing them to Chuck into the tank, when they should be placed in using nets and should be transported in bags.

    This pond to me looks like about 10x10x3.5 ft. So I think it’s about 2500 gal, and not just a 1000 gal.
