Awesome video. By far the best Poughkeepsie video I’ve seen, and I’ve watched them all on here in preparation to travel it. Last trip there, the gate at 9:38 was closed and locked. I had stayed in Silverton and my plan was to go down instead of up, then turn around and climb the wall. Now, imagine turning around right there. Of all the places they could have put a gate, they could have at least given room to turn around. There are some great trails in the San Juan’s. But Poughkeepsie is pretty much the only one in that area I have yet to drive from end to end. Not for a lack of want to. Just seems Mother Nature keeps playing tricks on me. I live in New Mexico, and it is a weekend trip for me. I have to make a call for some new tires for my 14 Xterra, maybe after I get them on, I can make a drive up there to test them?
San Juans….
How can anyone deny the existence of God with all that beautiful scenery.
agreed
Amen!
Fact 👍
And it was made all for us to admire 🥰🙏
The wall was cool.... But the reason I love watching these videos is the beautiful footage you get of the areas you go in. Thank you for showing us places we would never see with our own eyes. Stay safe Richie and God Bless.
God bless you Richie this Sunday! May His light shine upon you. Great video :))) Blessings from Poland
It’s great that you use so many cameras and incorporate the drone footage. I don’t see how you navigate the vehicle and operate the drones at the same time. I love the high resolution. Thanks for doing this.
U BET
Not that it doesn’t take talent but the drones will hover on their own once u got them where u want them to be pointed.
I have lived in this area for years and have done all these trails 8 times. At 69 I find myself slowing down and taking the less hazardous trails, more like gentle trail rides. So I stand at 8 times on these trails and leave it at that. Awesome video, you do a great job doing these and sharing them.
thanks Brad
I'm 68 Brad so I'm right behind you. I have done a lot of the trails starting in the early 1980's. I'm with you on the trail rides now lol. The area is beautiful.
Richie, thanks so much for the solar panels today! Total pleasure meeting you and super generous of you 🙏 Safe travels today and enjoy the Gulch!
It a problem I had it for a video I never did. And if you can use it perfect
Thank you so much for taking us into the real, wild world, Richie. Gorgeous place. I'm starting to get used to the way your truck tips without my heart stopping every time😁
Realer isn't a real word ironically 😃
I could watch these all day. Thank you kindly.
Much Love 😊🤍🌼.
I've been watching you for about 10 years. I just wanna thank you for your time. It wasn't in vain, I've learned a lot. We've had similar paths. From army, to opioids, to jail, to truth, to God. I'm not much of a prayer warrior, but I'm sending one for you. I'm much better at being an asshole. We're works in progress. I just wanna let you that I appreciate this channel, and it's an awesome escape from reality. Keep on keep keeping on soulja..lol. You've put forth much more effort than I have to try to inform the world. Now you're showing the beauty of it. All glory to the Most High God. Ttys.
awesome thanks Brother
You are so correct- a new paradigm is needed. Left or right wing, it's the same bird. Great footage. Thanks for the Sunday morning adventure! 💖
Sunday morning and I thank God for you. Love this!!!
Thank you again Richie, you really know how to get the video footage that makes one hold their breath until you make it through. Absolutely love the scenery. God bless!!
I'm at the beginning of this Richie, but I just noticed your subscriber amount. 77.7K great number!! Ok...I'm at the very end of your video now, and wow! I have to say that was great! I'm so glad you do these! The footage is amazing! You had me holding my breath a couple times! I even let out a holler once when your passenger side front of the vehicle came all the way up and I thought you were gonna flip the truck!! I breathed out a breath of relief when you didn't! Richie, you're living! I mean really living!! This is what life is supposed to be about!! The mother hen in me keeps saying I don't like it that you're doing things like this all alone though. I worry about you being by yourself if something bad happens, God forbid. But I know you like it that way. I'm keeping you in my prayers, brother. God bless you and thank you for the incredible journeys you take us on. I'm looking forward to seeing your next one!!
So cool, awesome number, I didn't notice that, thank u for pointing it out!!
@@allieville9864 it's cool, isn't it?!
Thank you for Richie. It is a blessing to us all that you share these beautiful landscapes and information
Look at the color of that water absolutely stunningly beautiful ❤️
I never saw that color in life, Until I saw that lake So it was badass
@@Patricia-wc4vf Get a life lady, really! We, ALL of us humans have precious little time left here thanks to the crazy controllers! The clock is ticking faster than EVER in "civilized" society & you're more concerned about water in a lake in one state out of the 48 contiguous states than you are about being respectful to others, (incl. the Golden Rule). Sound familiar? Even if there are Billions of native fish there, how can someone place humanity's value LOWER THAN LAKE FISH!!! LUDICROUS! 100% withbelowbthsr Richie... ¡Carpe Diem! Nobody invited you to TROLL here! You can go trolling in that lake! Please do! ABSOLUTE PATHETIC
@@Patricia-wc4vf You don't know Jack spit about me. Bye
@@Patricia-wc4vf why are watching then?
I go to Durango every year my brothers live in Vallecito. I have taken my 4 wheel drive truck up many passes but not Poughkeepsie. Beautiful! God bless ya brother
its a awesome trail. Did it 6 times total
@@jailbreakoverlander I envy you I have a 2016 Dodge Ram 4x4 no lift. Lol. But seriously how can people see that beautiful country, and not know there is a God? I have 1 year and one month until retirement from Union Pacific railroad. And now this Covid mandate crap. I refuse to put poison in my body trying to force us now I will have to make them fire me I guess but I will be in Colorado eventually. God bless you this day!
I look forward to these every week. Like your pinned, I am stuck.... I love what I am doing which is caring for my elderly parents. I am thankful they're still around. Be careful our friend!
Thanks for this Richie. I've been dealing with a neuro disorder i think ms and can't get out like I was so its really cool seeing this stuff. Maybe one day I can but for now I must live bicariously through others I guess. Glad to see your doing well. I was wondering where you went to the other day, you stopped showing up. Tthanks again!!!
Keep Fighting The Good Fight Lay Hold of Eternal L.ife I Timothy6 Check that song out by Triumph "Fight The Good Fight."Abundant Blessings Brother!
You might want to edit the name.... Just Saying.
@@johnchadwicktilton The Peacemaker was one of the first bombers in World war II.
The owner of this channel that starts with an R ends with an E prefers that his name be kept off of here. This is his one operating RUclips Channel .This is nothing new. I made the mistake myself once. Jail Break Over lander is how you should be referring to this channel as a person ... is what I am trying to say.
@@peacemakeri6872 Look at what we got today for fighting Germans. So much better....😔
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL ❤️
Absolutely the best trail I've seen you do Richie. You have nerves of steel 4 sure. Much appreciated for sharing this experience brother. Thanks for all of the scenery you provided as well. Stay safe where ever you are. Looking forward to the next one ✌👍👍
The scenery... I wish more people would want to go on adventures or drives from camp site to camp site off the beaten trail. These videos help me stay positive while I deal with the daily crazy. I've got pictures from 35 years ago showing how dark green the forests of Missouri were, I feel you.
Thanks Richie. I envy your ability to be able to live that life and I'm grateful you share it.
Sometimes i think about building my Tacoma up & trying some of these trails. Unfortunately most of my time is wasted at work. Rock on Richie!
You are right, WASTED PRECIOUS TIME. We were not designed to work, work, work, and nothing else. It's wrong
Make sure you have some good tires and a decent portable air compressor, and you can run a lot of those trails, then you’ll have a better idea as to what you need to get for your build.
Thank you Richie ❤️, awesome video!
God bless,
See you at the Lord’s Supper🙏🕊
Thanks from Hurricane, Utah Richie! Great effort and great recordings. Think I'll watch it again!
Ill be down there in oct.
W0w, when *YOU* say "right over the side" That is just what *YOU* mean. Very good *RFB*. Love any place that *YOU* can see FAR & WIDE. :) Well and Safe please.
that wall is brutal nice work RITCHIE scary LOVE this made my morning KEEP it going
Makes sense don't go thru the rut...hit the hill head on it gets more tracking
How peaceful just you and Nature and your truck! 🤗❤️
OMG 💝 Fried chicken Sunday and Jailbreak Overlander! thank you for sharing Richie 🤽🐓💎
15 years ago, when I first started going to Colorado the trees on Wolf Creek pass were unbelievable, now it looks like half of them are dead, you’re 100% right. The answer to fixing our issues aren’t in Washington, none of them have any real interest in fixing any environmental or any other issues that we the people need resolved. The only thing they are interested in who’s going to fill their pockets next at the expense and demise of the people they are supposed to represent.
You can thank the geoengineers...
@@JH-mt3pp Yes, it's the pine bark beetles that get the blame. The simple truth is that the trees are far more susceptible to parasites, disease, etc and many are coming to the conclusion it's the weakened condition of the trees from geoengineering weather modification activities that are the underlying source of the problem. First time I heard that suggested I thought no way, time for your tin foil hat ! But I've learned there's lots of verifiable research out there to support the geoengineering conclusion and the release of heavy metals into the atmosphere for weather modification.
@@aabikrman I will admit I know zip about geoengineering. All I know about the beetles is what I learned from locals I talked to in Lake City,Co. I Googled contributing factors to beetle infestation and found 1..dense stands of large diameter pine trees with a high proportion of host trees. 2.....drought conditions and 3....warmer winters. This infestation started in 1996 from what I gather. Are you saying geoengineering that took place several years prior to 1996 caused it ?
I have pictures from the Rio Grand near Platuro stretching back for thirty years. Now and then I look for the changes in them. In the summer of 2020 we did part of the alpine loop in from Lake City around and back . I hope that I will be able to make some more of the trails in 2022 . Rock on my friends....
@@aabikrman The main tool of the geoengineer is the internal combustion engine. Suck in 6 liters of clean mountain air and shoot out 6 liters of climate heating exhaust. Hey, I love my KLR and my Tacoma but let's be real.
Richie doing "The Wall" like a pro! I cringed watching the Nubbies scrape and crunch their vehicles while "Mr. Know-it-all" sent them over the most difficult route!
Its just ODD the dude is standing there They dont know him but follow his bad spotting over and over.
I was waiting to see if the oil pan was going to get smashed on that truck such lousy spotting on there part. Thank you for making it look awesome when you went up
@@jailbreakoverlander I hope they all watch your climb up the Hill to see how it's done right!
Gods 🙏 🙏 speed,my soulbrother😇🥰😍
You did Awesome, Richie! 👍 Great footage climbing the Wall! 💥
I laughed,I cried,I give it two thumbs up 👍🏻😎👍🏻

LOVE it Richie!! Another EPIC video of some of the most beautiful, magnificent in the United States, and in the world!!
EPIC video footage!
Thank You again, Richie! Lookin' forward to the next one.
BTW, a few minutes ago, I watched / listened to your repost from Friday (Sept. 10, 2021) of your Sept. 3, 2020 video. I'm 100% on board with all that you said and shared.
I'm here in the farthest western tip of Texas. Even before we, as a city, were first told who was "essential" and "non-essential" back on March 23, 2020 I was telling people we better not let this happen. Well, you, I, the very few others that knew then, know what happened.....

Now, were on the back side of the eye of the hurricane, and the next phase of this hurricane (and it's gonna be raging tempest) is about to hit, HARD!
I'll leave it at that here, Richie. Perhaps I'll share some additional thoughts at your bitchute channel under your upload from Friday.
Richie, you don't know me, and I don't know you. I'm just a man, less than a grain of sand on a sea shore. Even so, it amazes me how few people have not eyes to see nor ears to hear. Keep up your fight, Richie, to the end. I know I am, I know you will too.
Peace, RFB!
And may God bless you at all times and in all places.
Hey Brother! Thanks for another awesome video. We appreciate all the different camera angles. Much harder than it looks!!! Stay Free Richie!
Thanks for the Adventure!
Amazing footage you captured there with your filming equipment, love it! What a truck 👍🏻
Awesome footage as usual!! Thanks for all the hard work you do for all to make these videos!!! Praying you always stay safe!!!!
I LOVE this episode!!! I've lost count of how many times I've watched it. You kept the drone so close to the water of this wonderful lake. Wow! You have these skills!!! 💪The footage is phenomenal!! The music you chose fits perfectly! You were born to be here in this age of misery, making people happier, Richie! I'm happy knowing that you are experiencing all these beautiful and exciting moments. You deserve it so much!❤ I THANK YOU for letting us taste the beauty of what you have seen! 😘You can be sure that the hard work you put into each of your videos is always greatly appreciated even if it's not always shown in the number of views on this ...RUclips!
Magnificent Footage.
Thank You..
God Bless..
I love these videos so much! I would never be able to see these places without you doing this. Its a nice peaceful thing to get my mind off of our current reality. My hiking days are over so I do not get to the wilderness much anymore. Only spring time mushroom hunting in flat areas. I can still do that with a walking stick. But I feel like I am there with you on these adventures. I've been watching you for years now, and although I've learned many things from you, these are by far my favorite videos. Thank you for sharing such beauty with us.
Poughkeepsie is the only trail in the San Juans I haven't done in my 4runner because I fear not having rear armor. I did go with my JEEP friend and spotted him and we had a blast!
God’s country for sure - incredible!! Thank you for sharing, and stay safe.
You took my breath away goin up the wall! You were practicly standing up on two wheels, balanced. Would have loved to ride the majority of the roads you drove. But I am 75. But a youthful thinking 75. Know my limitations. Great great footage and presentation. Thankyou for the beautiful job. THANKS Richie. God bless and keep you.💜🙏😎👍🇺🇸
What a week! So glad you posted! I need a Jailbreak Overland Adventure! ❤
Take time and ride your bike. Health is everything. I drive everyday my day starts at 3 I get home at 6..Most of my day is driving.
OMG! A street SUV!
😂 your reactions make me laugh..
People are strange..
Your camera placements give depth to what its really like! Thrilling ride.. Excellent! 👍🏼
Its the kind of beating that feels good at the end of the ride.. 🐹 & moose nice pics...
Loved the ride Lets do another real soon. Take care Richie...🐝lol
❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸
Now this is living life to the fullest extent of your disires ❤️🤗!
Watching everyone go up the wall was really entertaining. Watching you do it was too... but in a totally different way.
You are the most realistic person ever with dangerous trails that people don't understand they can't do with what vehicle have!!!
Another great vid as always. Take care out there brother! Excellent shots!!
Solid once again. Keep doing what your doing.
✌️🇨🇦
Bro, That was one hell of a ride, blew me away looking over the side of that last trail thru the drivers side window, What a drop off! Your skills at photography are amazing, thanks for taking us along. PS: Your Rig is bad A$$ and gives us all goals to strive for.

Thanks Richie. Keep on truckin’!
Some facts at the end there 💯 😉
Thank you Richie , Amazing adventure in so many ways to list them would take to long
His truck would never make it over "The Wall" in left field in Beantown, especially with the seats on top of it now
Absolutely amazing as always, Richie... THANK YOU!!!
This is a whole different world you are videoing for us, so amazing, so stunningly beautiful, thanks for the cheer up Richie with these EPIC videos!!
When my wife and I found a free campsite in Montana last summer there was a similar type "gravel" road. You should've seen us in our standard Honda car creeping towards the campsite. Lol.
Excellent video! Loved hearing the crunch of those guys climbing the wall. That's gonna cost them. LOL!
I love nature, forests and such but have not seen any beauty like this. Thank you !
Awesome Richie! Thank You!
Just BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you.
Very exciting! Thanks Richie
Who would thought part 2 would be be better than part 1...awesome footage!
Nice, thanks
Enjoyed very much watching this trip.. having traveled to this area many times..never experienced the backroads. And now have a greater respect!
Very awesome.
Indeed.
Beast mode the world is changing you are right and always been right. Still have the bumper sticker on my truck. It's a big club and u and I are not in it. God bless you mate shit getting crazy thanks for bringing me to a place I will never get to see. Keep up the good work.
NO PROB, CARPE DIEM
The shelf road gives me the Willie's. The trailblazers were tough people obviously. The effort you make on photography is phenomenal. So beautiful looking into the valleys. Thank you so much.
Yeah getting those plugs in some times ain't no joke lol and at how ever many feet you are has got to be literally breathtaking.
Same thing happened to me last week...I have been offroad in mud ruts in WV and on top of these same passes in CO last month with no issue. Sitting in my father in laws driveway last week and I have a bolt in my tire. Probably rolled over it on the street...crap deal!
I knew u wouldn’t have any problems with the wall, that Toyota is a beast in beast mode,,Thanks again for another great video n always a 👍
Stunning scenery ... epic trail...seizing the moments...!!
Just re-watched part 1 and 2. A whole new meaning to white knuckling driving!! Excellent phootage.Really appreciate the time that went into this video. A must see for sure 👍
