Crikey! I have been listening to you guys for years, telling everyone about the greatest cover band that ever was. I thought I had heard some amazing renditions of pop tunes from you guys before today, but this one is simply incredible. Nailing Patti LaBelle and MICHAEL MCDONALD's vocals is truly astounding and f'ing brilliant!

No would disagree that this was originally recorded by two of the most iconic singing voices of the last 50 years (LaBelle & McDonald) that can't be duplicated but Bel & Danny did make it their own here.
This song is why I have respect for sound engineering and mixing. Patti LaBelle recorded her version of the song in Philadelphia, and Michael McDonald recorded his version in Los Angeles. They were never in the same studio and they never met during the recording of this song. By today's standards that doesn't seem that amazing, but you have to remember, this was the 1980s.

Perfect duet for this song, Bel your talent is limitless and then there's Danny the king of all genres. What Con puts together is always incredible and something to look forward to every week.

As soon as Danny hit the first note, I got a node in my throat. I also I have to mention Bel who did a gorgeous performance. The ending was very emotional.

Danny Lopresto has got to be one of the most versatile singers out there, and Bel Martinez has been a great addition with her effortless, sublime voice.
Bel and Danny both have voices that are very rich and very lush. They are there with the original by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald.
Powerful performance by the vocalist and backup! HSCC you always knock it out of the park and outdo the original. Bel and Danny conveyed the song's meaning better than original. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.

It's difficult not to compare with one of the most perfect duets of pop music (I love Patti Labelle and Michael McDonald). But you did it creatively, always in perfect tune and with a lot of emotion. Congratulations, my friends. You did it again to a high standard.

I never expected Hscc to do a cover of that song. Thats a really good choice for her to sing a cover of that song.
My girlfriend and partner of eleven years left me 35 years ago and I was devastated. We used to cross each other going to work weeks afterwards and this kept playing on the radio and I cried every time. It still makes me emotional.

The original version of this song is one of my favourite all time ballads. This performance is outrageous, wow, wow, wow! Incredible vocals evoking all manner of emotions. For me, simply has to be one of your stand-out performances from a long list of belters - much respect to all involved🙌

I have seen both artists live and the cover is good. Their voices are impossible to cover, but you do a pretty passable job. Patti Labelle blasts you out of your seat. She's amazing. She's on level with Aretha. And Michael McDonald is like smooth defined. Nice cover.

Outstanding cover of a very difficult song, after proving she can sing Anita Baker songs Bel Martinez now shows she can also cover Patti Labelle songs. As usual World Top Ten vocalist Lopresto performs flawlessly the Michael McDonald parts. Excellent music reproduction, well done Con, superb entertainment.
I like how the singers didn’t try to replicate Patti and Michael, they sung in their own voices, their own interpretations.
This was not a replication, this was a stunning tribute, done beautifully, to honour the original recording.

So sorry that Ive been away from you guys for a few days, I've taken Christmas holidays. I just heard Bel and Danny sing this excellent song back from the mid 80's with Patti and Michael. You know, I listened to Patty and Michael so many times at home and on the radio, especially since I lost my beautiful bride after 25+ years to recurring cancer. I'm from Adelaide originally and my beautiful wife worked at the old Royal Adelaide Hospital so we have much in common, especially Hindley Street. I love this song and I love how HSCC presented it to me. Thank You.

Patty Labelle and Michael McDonald aren't easy to do but Bel and Danny got it done vocally with the band doing their usual great work!

These players are friggin fantastic, i say absolutely fantastic. Nearly impossible to understand how they can play songs from so many different artists and have every one of the sound just as good if not better than the original bands. i mean where have you been all this time. i have only just found you on U Tube. i am still having a hard time believing they all can play and sing like this . for me this is totally unbelievable the quality of their music. sure there are some songs i just don't care for. . but the majority are really suburb. i especially like the women vocalists. beautiful voices just beautiful singing, cant get enough,

The last “covers” band I heard was the Twilights at the Oxford Club in Burnside in the ‘60’s. They were considered Australia’s best band back then. Boy, the level of musicianship and talent has improved by light years! I really love this band. I’ve come to appreciate songs that I’ve barely heard of. Thank you HSCC. Great vocals from Danny and Bel. As usual, Danny's vocals are spot on. Michael MacDonald has a unique voice, so I was not expecting Danny to replicate it. I actually prefer Bel singing this song over Patti LaBelle (I know heresy!), she's got the range without the vocal histrionics. Wonderful rendition of a great song!
