my step father, Michael Clark (i knew him as mike) who passed away from cancer about 5 years ago, wrote the words to this song (the music was made by John Bettis). he sold it for 5 thousand dollars at the time. his name is on the vinyl on the pointer sisters album. due to the guy who represented him he never got anything more from it after that.. he use to get mad whenever he heard the song lol (he wouldnt let my mom play it in the house). but still.. i think it was cool. he was a good harmonica and guitar player as well. ran across this video after watching a different song. =) good job btw.

Wow! To Skye, Chloe, Nikki, Darren, Stefan, Mario, Damien, Zoran & anyone else who had anything to do with this beautiful rendition of ‘Slow Hand’ by the pointer sisters, such an exceptional performance by all.
Special mention to Skye, your superb voice, not only suited this song, but in my opinion was better than the Pointer Sisters version which to date has 6.8 mil views on YT.

This is a voice and sound for our time; even if it is a song from 1981 - @Zkye Compson-Harris has a soulful essence that brings meaning and purpose to every lyric and the quality of the backing vocals is there for all to hear @Nikki Kosmider-Heuskes @Chloe Castledine @producernerd . @Stefan Hauk proves that a lead guitar doesnt have to cut through like an axe to have an impact....played with all the skill of a surgeon with a scalpel. I will enjoy playing this one over again all weekend. Thanks team 👌👏🙏❤

This is an awesome cover that for me is even better than the original. when Zkye sings there is so much soul and feeling in her vocals that just sends chills through me. The back ups and harmony are so tight that they sound like another instrument not vocals. Great job Chloe, Nikki and Darren. And Stefan Hauck's guitar work proves that bombast isn't always necessary, Damien on bass and Mario on drums is the best ever rhythm section with a solid beat. This is a great job by everyone. Another favorite for me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎶🎶🎶🎶✌✌✌✌

What can I say that others haven't already? Sultry perfection on vocals, and I continue to profoundly enjoy Stefan's guitar work. His tone and understated support is perfect in this song.
She is also a great blues singer. Had the pleasure of seeing her live a few weeks ago and she was great.
This is, quite simply, the best performance of this track I've seen - way better than the original, and that's rare!

In my opinion Zyke outsings original lead vocalist Anita Pointer hands down. I am literally blown away by her vocal range and singing ability. She is outstanding. Continued success from a fan in suburban Chicago. Happy New Year to all.

Wow June Pointer needed a little echo but Zkye uses a smoldering romantic & passionate touch to sing out this Richard Perry golden R n B. hit Yet another Gold record for a guy who also produced Rod Steward and Carly Simon. But Darren is up to the task with Stefan's excellent solo. l was drawn to Nikki's smile and sensual dance moves. What treat. But l'm not surprised.

Zyke you imbued that with all the sensuality it was written to express with nothing cheap - fantastic and of course you were aided by as good a group of back up singers as you'll find anywhere.
Stefan , that PRS is the duck's in your hands - ( FWIW the colour gave away that it's not your latest recording) and Darren great mix and keys sounds.

So clear Darren and the team love what they do with an abundance of talent to boot. Whatever happens will happen but if it doesn't happen it's already happened.
This is musical perfection. Darren’s arrangements are simply beautiful and bring out the classic phrases of each song. The “other lot” play nicely but just don’t seem to have the same passion and enjoyment as the SIL players. I’ve listened to this track over and over and dusted off my Korg Krome to join in!
Wow, just WOW!!! You hear that natural growl in her voice? Yep, me too. You just cannot teach that. You either have "IT" or you don't. God definitely blessed her with an amazing gift. She's a better singer now than just about 90% of the professional singers out there. Whoooo
