I left 12 years ago and have two other passports now. Not really interested in going back. Just do your research before you go to find out how to get residency in the place you want to be. Digital nomading in most countries has no path to residency so it's one year and done, similar to a working holiday visa. If your occupation is on a shortage/critical need list, that is a good path to residency and maybe citizenship.

wow this is insightful thank you for sharing! at this rate I think I might have to open a business abroad in order to get a residency visa/permit. so it may happen later than I imagined but still very possible

Geo arbitrage the $USD buying power over seas. You can live in Georgia 365 days/year with no additional paper work/residence permit. Just US passport sufficient.

I dream of living in Siargao PH + Pattaya Thailand. I want to save more money before I leave.
America is an insane asylum where the inmates have the keys to the pharmacy and armory.

Siargao is on my list of places to visit. I just came back from Pattaya I highly recommend the Sanctuary of Truth :) it’s a completely wooden temple, one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen 🤍 Asia is wonderful. you can do it I believe in you!

Some countries have national service where all citizens have to join and train in the military. They store their guns with ammunition in their homes and there are no crazy mass shootings. I once saw a table of mass shootings around tue world, where the US had 256, second country had 9 shootings and the entire table only had about 8 countries. All the other, countries 184 had 0 mass shootings. This means I think the culture is also the problem.

PH has a lot of guns, Guns are not the problem in the US. Violent crime is, everything is absolute trash in the US right now. its all artificial problems. However as an American who's lived out of the us for a very long time. The countries that offer free health care also have extensive issues with healthcare. Plus as an American, you need to have travel insurance for healthcare. Thailand, Philippines, Korea, Japan etc you will be kicked out or just not even seen from a hospital if you don't have insurance. You should have traveled before the pandemic. You could live in any SE Asian country for $700 a month easy, going out to eat every day, lux apartment. Travel. Now you need 2k-3k income a month for SE asia. Also one last note, I missed the last 5 or so videos but that blue hue in your hair is FIRE.

wow, very helpful and interesting insight. thank you for sharing. about the hair - I color-graded my recent videos to be very cool toned so that is why the black appears blue 🥲 but I do aspire to look like a video game character so I appreciate the compliment anyway 👩🏻‍🎤 thank you for watching 💙

I actually used to be a private chef at one point 🥲 perhaps cooking being my “job” made me lose the spark for it. but when I’m traveling I prefer to eat the local cuisine of the country and find it’s a better and more enjoyable use of my time than cooking and cleaning
