tears from tip 🥲 I still remember a certain B trp 1-17th CPT in 09’ KAF proceeded to take off when I was filling the radios in the aft avionics bay.. felt the skids start to chatter, immediately started banging on the side 😂😂😂. Dude was SF, Ranger, was prior enlisted, warrant and at that point commissioned, so needless to say he was tired, you probably know exactly who I’m talking about … side note is 036 roadrunner one of the available tail numbers?? Keep up the good work man.
I feel like PC could make a really good Blackhawk module.
If you setup your SRS radio 1 through 4 as 4 distinct PTT (Warthog throttle 3 to 6 (radio switch) for example) and with "Radio switch works as PTT" + 2nd, 3rd and 5th following options in the SRS settings, you can have your AH-64D Radios working the same way as they do in the Kiowa, this is what i did, as i cant stand the realistic version (even if i did made a profile for it), usability over realism. And your comment over the superiority of this setup for the Kiowa cimented my POV.

@@CasmoTV Me too, its my default profile for my main (Hornet, in my squadron), and i found out it was better for the Apache just because i forgot to select the Apache profile one time :D

Came back to brush up after starting to play on Rotorheads (Voodoo). My only gripe with the kiowa is not having a gunner AI like the Apache, sometimes i just wanna be the taxi driver and not have to jump seats. If i had a nickle for everytime the handbrake went places it shouldn't 😂😂
We should start a channel or log counting all the times we mention "Why this human-machine interface and software is better than Boeing's", lol.

Having issues with ATC not responding at airfields, for landing, takeoff etc. Comms are on correct frequencies, but still nothing.
The first time trying ATC and radios in a flight sim makes you really respect just the massive multitasking task that pilots have to go through just to pay attention to the world around them. I genuinely can't imagine being able to focus on comms with my co-pilot, something like an A-10 flight overhead, all while talking and coordinating with JTAC or ground troops at the same time.
Yeah, that's indeed easier to handle than the Apache comms.
If it's not a classified topic, could you tell us a bit more about the frequency planning and comms table in a typical AO? Like team (FM1) that's easy, Ground Force on FM2, but which radio is used to work with TOC or other controlling agencies? Do you monitor e.g. TOC/CAOC or only "check in" with higher for tasking? Are there mandatory comms to monitor at all times? What happens if you fly in a larger group, say company, do you use a specific radio for company network on all lead aircraft on the teams? ...some insight in the practical application would be fantastic. 🥰

@@mattthacker9120dude. Thank you. I built this pc myself (like my 4 previous ones). Getting blue screen of death in DCS , I spent 3 days doing everything. Updating BIos , revering back to intel safe setting, doing all the memtest86, intel CPU test etc , I was still getting them. After 3 days I gave up. I didn’t have the parts to swap and isolate the source of the problem

Not that I’m aware.
@@CasmoTV I guess they don't see the need as you can just choose not to map the cyclic axis for that side. Thanks for info.

This is standard release practice for just about every video game on the market. So yes this is preview access to help drive sales when the product eventually releases. I’ll assume this is an honest question and not something else.
