    I’m gonna try this! I’ve tried so many “heatless wave” tutorials by people who don’t have much texture to their hair (like the bathrobe one) and they just never ever work for me - my hair won’t dry for a million years, and my hair just ends up with weird kinks and angles in it. Hopefully I have better luck with this! Having super dense low porosity hair just seems to always be bad luck with heatless styling

      @@saranginair5683 it did not work, unfortunately. My hair is just too thick. If I twist or braid it damp it will never dry, and if I let it dry first it will already be too frizzy for the style to look good

      I have hair kinda like hers and this is what I always do!
      I have coarse thick 3b Indian hair btw
      I FIRST LET IT AIR DRY ABT 60-80% CUZ OTHERWISE IT NEVER DRIES IN THE TWISTS.
      also, instead of braiding the bottom, I twist it, and then the claw clip both of them up to get looser curls.
      also, the KEY is to apply a light serum before, and then some sort of shine like again oil after the process.

    Amazing results! Love how my hair came out 😍
    I think the key is not to apply products (except leave-in) before you braid it. I have done both techniques (product before braids and product on top of braids) and for me, it worked beautifully to apply mouse on top of hair when it’s braided. No frizz, ultra soft and the prettiest mermaid waves!
    Thanks Dana, you are my go to Jersey curly girl! 😘

    • @NadaMallah
      @NadaMallah 4 года назад +2

      I think it depends on your hair, for mine braiding it too often makes it more frizzy when I try to curl it, but that's for just 2 washes, then it's back to normal. It could also be the humidity but meh, not long term damage.
