- Here is my natural wavy/curly hair routine using no diffuser. I also show you how I refresh my hair everyday. I find that so far this is the fastest routine that I’ve tried that does the best at controlling frizz in the extremely humid weather that I live in.
My previous hair routine video: bit.ly/2WaUpMC
Some of these products and the wet plopping method were recommended by one of my favorite curly girls on instagram @powerdomi so be sure to check her out!
Thanks for watching!

IM QUEEN oof. Just saw this also yes I saw a person had said the same thing but I didn’t know that when I wrote it :/
Frizz is the devil. I hate it so much.
Agreeeeed 😩
I agree too. It makes me go crazy.
Yess I hate it :(
Try cold water rinses and no sulfates or silicones. That’s how I got the frizz to stop
I love a bit of frizz, gives me volume! once saw a girl with short curly frizzy hair, she looked mesmerising to me
Love seeing my Latino family embracing their natural hair...
Be careful because I’ve been seeing a lot of articles and videos about deva curl causing hair loss and frizz!!! I stopped using it and recommend you do your research
Fatema Salam true ! really high levels of toxicity
Nice that they don't even sell deva curl on my country lol but I've seen girls with beautiful hair using that product... Do you know any alternatives? My hair has a lot of frizz :(
León Cervantes check out Living Proof’s they have a TON of frizzy hair products (shampoo, conditioner, masks, styling cream etc.) hope this can help you 😊
@@sophiasarros5512 tysm 🙆🏻♀️
Maya Wooten it’s not necessarily the hair loss but the products are also burning people’s scalps and taking away nutrients. Plus when comparing hair types with others who use the products, people have noticed that they began to lose their curls and become wavy
i've never seen anyone with hair just like mine before! its wavy on top with ringlets underneath, im trying to embrace the wave a bit more as up til now i've used a strong hold mousse and diffuser to get it as curly as possible
I have the same type of hair. Styling it almost impossible
I just can't understand what to do with my hair😥
Somebody please do a fine thin straight shitty broken ends broken dreams hair tutorial for me ok thanks.
😩😂♥️
YES PLEASE!
the midimalist 😂👏🏻
😂😂 broken dreams
I have the same hair type though so I know what you mean.
your second day hair looks even better than the first! i never refresh my hair i usually completely rewash it but I'm gonna try only spraying my hair with water like you
By far, the best refresh i`ve ever seen!
Your hair looks so beautiful like that, it makes me sad to think that so many women with beautiful curly hair spend all of this time straightening it and damaging it (luckily I'm way too lazy to curl my hair haha). It might be because I have flat straight hair and you always want what you can't have but I've always dreamed of having natural curls/waves ^^
olivia1910 girl same..
@@hart2hart896 as someone with kinda wavy hair, I can tell u that those are just soooooo annoying like,,, the first day right after washing them it looks good but then you just go to sleep and one side is flat, it's super frizzy, and just doesn't looks good overall ! so yeah on second day hair (and until you wash your hair) it's easier to just straighten it
sweatertae x hey, she said it..
@@hart2hart896 yes but that works with her type of hair and all of the products she uses, which ends up to be really expensive, so she can use that method, but every hair is different even within a same hair type, and I already tried to just spray water in my hair on the second day, because I dont use the same products and dont have the same hair, it just ended up being a frizzy mess
@@sweatertaex7165 Really? I thought I had finally found the answer video for my hair :/ ...Mine is also mixed (bits are curly, then wavy, straight bits too), just thinner and lighter ...I will try this method though and hopefully it will encourage my hair to be as it should naturally and will work and look good. Difficult struggle. I always keep my hair in a bun or braids when I'm out and about as a result.
The aesthetics!!! 😍 love your shower!
Omg thank you for this! I have never found anyone with the same hair as mine. Mine is also curly some places, more wavy in other areas and I even have some straight hair. And i struggle so much with frizz so I will definitely try this routine💞💞
Hey guys, yes, I have heard the controversy about Deva Curl and I no longer use their products. I didn't notice any negative side affects on my hair from using the products from them that I featured here but then again, I'm always trying out new things so I never stick to one exact routine for a very long period of time. This video was filmed many months ago and I have since found routines that work better for me but aside from Deva Curl, I still do recommend every product mentioned here. To replace the Deva Curl products that I showed here, I recommend the Briogeo don’t despair repair strength and moisture leave in mask.
For everyone concerend about my water consumption. Please watch the entire video prior to commenting on it.. During the time where I’m styling my hair the water is off. All of the other times where the water is on and it seems like I’m not using it, I cut out the parts where I did use it to re-wet my hair, my hair dries VERY fast, I have to re-wet it even when I’m shampooing in order to get it to lather well. When I was conditioning, I also clearly explained in the video that I re-wet my hair... Aside from that, my water takes forever to warm up, so it doesn’t make any sense for me to turn it off for two seconds ( it would take me longer to wait for the water to warm back up, thus I would waste even more water.) I turn it off when I’m not using it for a long time (as I did when I was styling my hair). Also, keep in mind that I was filming, showing the products & demonstrating my techniques.... I normally would never do this on a regular day, so it would never take me this long to shower in the first place. Thanks for watching and I really do appreciate your concern but I really did take my water consumption into consideration. ❤️❤️
I was just about to comment something about your water consumption when I saw this. Thank you for the comment :)
People be complaining at every single thing. Thank you for the content 💓
I have similar hair to yours some straight pieces and ringlets. The straight pieces drive me nuts though! I also use the deep sea repair and it really brings my curls back to life. I've used melt into moisture as well. Both great products.
What hair type do you have because I think I’m the same but I don’t know which one
Even if it's about one sec you must turn it off and turn it on again when you need it. Imagine everyone wasting just a few seconds of water. We are over billions of people and that means billions of water wasted for nothing
My hair after wash is like yours after all of these steps
I think i should learn to love my hair
Yep, you should! ❤️❤️
So happy to have found someone with basically my exact hair type on RUclips. I'm also trying to embrace my natural hair and these tips make it easier ♥️
I was listening n I’m like this girl is definitely from Miami 😭I saw your description and yesss I was right cuban American gaang ❗️
Oh my god you look like a renaissance painting :0
I had so much fun while watching ! It was so relaxing and luxuries
My hair when wet looks exactly like yours. i’ve tried so many techniques, but everytime i wash my hair, plop it with a shirt and keep it on, i wake up and the curls are almost nonexistent and undefined. i have no idea what to do!!
Camilla Ward yeah I have the exact same thing!!
Are you using the correct products for washing/styling? And scrunching?
Citripio Granadita I use shampoo, conditioner and a leave in conditioner
Citripio Granadita I’m honestly not sure about if the products i use are right, but i am scrunching :)
@@merelhaakman2216 are they meant for curly hair? The products that worked for me were anything without sulphate and silicones and for styling i use cantu twist and lock cream because it's a mix between a gel and a cream so it defines and also hydrates, also it is pretty cheap at target. Maybe give it a try, but you'll have to experiment with different products and techniques until you find whats right for your hair. Good luck ! :D
Finally! I have the exact same hair volume/texture/waves as yours! Thank you!!
your hair is so nice, I find t interesting that you have straight, wavy and curly pieces but it looks really nice together
Thanks love! Yea I am the product of a family of very straight hair from my moms side and very curly hair from my dads 😂😂
Your hair color looks so nice I love it.
Btw what’s your nail polish? it suits your skin
I love the nail polish color too, same question?
*Who else always gets so inspired by everything she does?* 💓💓
Love from another youtuber🌹
Omg this video is awesome!!! For about 4 years I was deal with my hair changing I’m mixed (half white and half black). I grew up with straight hair until I hit the 5th grade and my hair started to change and now its like I have all kind of things going on. Curls, waves and some straight pieces so my hair is like your. I was straightening my hair for about 3 years and damaging it until this I learned how to embarrass my curls. But this video helps me a lot and makes me under a little more about how I can control my hair
Your hair is similar to mine...except, mine is very fine and very thin. Which makes long term definition a struggle. I have to wet my hair entirely every day and use more product, because of this. Which of course...adds to build up
Same
OMG finally I found someone who has hair similar to mine! I have a mix of curly, wavy, and even straight and I also have to tackle cow licks and random parts. Your hair looks gorgeous and your video was very informative!
I love your waves & ringlets. It's goddess hair! So pretty. I have wavy hair, no pretty ringlets, but I am going to follow this in part, trying a few of these products to get my waves w/out frizz. I live in FL so this is a huge problem for me year round.
Are you stupid there is no goddess ONLY GOD ALLAH
Your bathroom is so classy!!.I love it😍
I'm so happy u figured out what works for u, ur hair looks so glossy and healthy x
Thanks love!! It still isn’t the most perfect routine but it works for now ♥️♥️
Finally!!! Someone with my hair :) it looks SO similiar (yours is just thicker (lucky you) & dark). I've been looking for a video like this ... turns out I have mixed hair too, but I didn't know how to describe it... some weird mish mash, neither here nor there. Growing up I treated it like straight hair and longed for dead straight hair (& so hated it because of the poofyness/fuzz and would straighten it more), last few years I've been trying to learn about it, care for it, return to it's natural state (i.e. no more heat and trying to let it heal poor thing) and I was noticing curls when drying naturally, then thought it's curly that I need to encourage ... but it still had straight hair mixed in, so it isn't actually curly, ...it has straight bits, curly bits, wavy bits O_O ... I didn't know how to describe it or what to do with it (but I knew it wasn't like the videos I was being pushed to, which were very tight thick curls). Thank you :)
The window light is amazing and dreamy 😍
Your videos are so calming and peaceful I love it so much
Please, close the tap. It hurts to see it :(
Yesss! I have found someone with the same hair texture as mine
Youssra ikkkk me too!!!!
Same here!
this routine has a lot of helpful tips i’m going to try. also i love your editing!
Thanks love! ♥️♥️
I keep coming back to this, your results are so nice!
I always find your videos simply, original and informative. Thankyou dear.
You’re the first you tuber with a wavy hair routine and hair similar to mine! Same density and texture! Love the results you got!
Wow your hair is so healthy and shiny!! Love the routine.
anyone else in love with her accent?😍
Oooh my gosh. You and your hair are gorgeous! I think I have the same hair type as you, I’m going to try your routine! I’ve had to start diffusing my hair dry since starting the CG method and I’ve got mega frizz 😭
This is the most amazing routine i have seen on a hair texture like mine. Big fan
This was super helpful, but on another note, I love how you say “fluff” lol
How long have you been doing the castor oil into the temples thing? And have you found it to make any impact on hair growth?? We have veeerrrryyyyyyy similar hair
You should do castor oil 2-3 times a week for a three month period. Then you must pause for a month at least otherwise you can have reverse effects. 3 months doing the oil, 1 month not doing it. Yes it helps your hair grow faster, and stronger 😊
Tati may i ask why you have to stop for a month?
Omg this is so helpful. My hair is exactly like yours but the front bits are dead straight and the bottoms are curly and my baby hairs are frizzy. When i brush my hair it turns into a ball of frizz so I will definitely do this routine!!!
Your hair looks beautiful!!! Thx for adding next routine💕💕
I HAVE NEVER TOUCHED SEAWEED IN MY LIFE!!!!!
😂😂 it’s just slimy and smooshy
your hair looks so healthy and shiny im so in love
My hair is just like yours, and I honestly didn't know about the water the next day trick lol. I just kept in a ponytail or something and called it a day. Honestly really liked the video 10/10!
This is so soothing 🌿☀️🧡 love your style, I share your videos with my mom and she looooooved your choice of jeans! Have a beautiful day, thanks for the gorgeous content 🌸🙏🏼
Aww tysm for watching lovely!! ☺️♥️
Gemary 🤗💗
I like how you make CGM so quick with awesome results 😊
Thank you for this video ! I just discovered that I actually have wavy hair but I've destroyed it with the wrong products and habits over the years. I'm slowly turning to the Curly Girl Method but it's not easy. Also, thank you for showing the next day! I have the same problem, my curls tend to disappear on the second/third day. I'm gonna try that !
Great video, and really really easy! The less steps something has, the more likely to actually do it!
I saw another tutorial where the girl used a denman brush to brush her hair before scrunching that gave
her really good definition. I know all curly hair is different but maybe you can try that! Thanks for this video Gemary!
Your hair looks so shiny and beautiful, thank you for sharing 💯
Your hair looks AMAZING!
Aww thanks love ♥️
Thank you so much I have natural wavy curly hair. I never know what to do to the top of my hair. Definitely going to try your tips 👍🏻 You have beautiful hair!
BEAUTIFUL!!! I am going to copy you lol buy everything you mentioned because your hair looks amazing and this video is the most relatable and easiest curly hair video I've seen thus far! Thanks!
Aww thanks love! I hope these products work for you too ♥️
Beautiful results! That's really interesting what you did with the little headband. I'll have to try that.
I love the aesthetic of your videos 😊 a lot of love from France 🇫🇷💞
Tysm dear! ♥️
do you comb your hair ?? .. when do you comb your hair ?? beautiful video btw 💟💛
I comb it with either my fingers or a wide tooth comb right after I apply my leave-in ♥️ However, if my hair is still kind of knotted when I’m rinsing off my deep conditioner then I finger comb it a little in that step too.
Hey, loved the video. Just wanted to say please turn off the shower while you are showing the products or if you don't need it. It's a lot of wastage. Love ya 💕
::eye roll::
Why was this so relaxing, loved this! New sub x
Castor oil is extremely nutritional for hair and skin. In Indian we usually create a concoction with 3parts coconut oil 1 part caster oil heated and generously seasoned with jaswanti flowers and Curry leaves. Cooled and stored in dark glass bottles with the seasonings so the goodness keeps seeping in the oil as the days go by.
There are many fancier version to treat specific hair problems but this is a basic one used by such curly hair.
Was waiting for a hair update 🙏🏻✨
Beautiful hair! I l love the way you have a got that look without using a hairdryer, I'm definitely going to try that as my hair is very similar to yours. Loved the video! x 😄
Thanks dear!! ♥️
Omfg your hair is so gorgeous 😭
Looooove these videos!!! You are very lucky. Thank you for sharing. Can you do a video on how you do your winged liner? It’s so classy and beautiful. 💞
Finally!! Someone with my hair type.
Edit: Do you brush your hair after styling?? What if I need to do a hairstyle for wavy hair....do I brush it out??
I think we have very similar hair so this was very helpful for me. I want to try to go back to my natural curls.
this was so satisfying
i’ve been waiting for another one YAYAYYAYAYAY❤️
I didn't know there was such a thing as a textured hair specialist lol, but you've a really nice hair
Your hair is gorgeous! Mine looks similar to yours, but I have more straight sections. I think it's also because my hair is a lot longer than yours too. I'm going to try your routine and see how it works!
I KNEW you were from Miami by the way you said "fluff" omg!!! Loved the video
your hair is beautiful! thanks for the tips :)
Would like to get an update on Devacurl and how your hair is doing recently
Wow I haw really really similar hair Type! It's so nice to finally find a youtube Chanel with similar hair
You are so beautiful!! Hands down. I tried EVERYTHING but my hair just ends up FRIZZY! full of frizz and the curls aren't defined. Yeah my hair's like Hagrid's😩
I was looking for a astheatic hair video ugjhhh I Love this soooo much🤓💕
How does everyone know what seaweed feels like? Is that an experience most people who don't live in the desert have? I've never felt seaweed so I have no idea what all these curly girls mean by it.
Still, thank you for showing us this!
Very wet, slippery, and soft.
Coming from a rainforest island, I found your comment adorable. I wonder how many "desert" things I do not know! Well, seaweed is slippery, pliable, heavy for its size, and almost slimy, but not quite. Imagine you cook a lot of glass noodles, drain them, and drench them in sesame oil. Then you try to pick of a few noodles with your open hands...the noodles will sort of wrap around your fingers and quickly slide back into the pot. Seaweed feels somewhat like that--over oiled noodles. Have you tried to pick up a goldfish out of a tank just with your hands? That slippery, wet, silky, slick-but-not-sticky feeling is what you're looking for when you're conditioning your hair. If you're familiar with slippery elm, homemade flaxseed gel, fresh okra, still-in-the-leaf aloe vera gel, marshmallow root, or any other things that are mucilaginous, that's a similar feel, but seaweed is much wetter. I hope this helps!
I’ve had to return to this video, my routine is too much hassle for me... and I don’t want to be diffusing!
You so pretty... 😋
Very pretty hair! Wish my texture was so easy!
Nice vid 😍 also, unrelated, but maybe try to think of turning the water off when not under the shower! -xxx ❤️
When I put leave in on wet hair like dripping wet it always gets so frizzy and with less volume . Maybe because mine is mostly 3a with some 2c?
Finallyyy someone with same hair type and texture..... ☺
This is the first video I’ve watched of yours, and all your thumbnails and videos give me such *Fancy hotel commercial* vibes lol
you’re hair is soooo pretty
Your hair is gorgeous. Please keep it wavy always.
You have such beautiful hair. I have the tiniest bit of wave to mine. I can scrunch it and use product for more wave. Lately I just feel like it’s flat, frizzy & stringy. I definitely am thinking of using a clarifying shampoo. Maybe there is just too much buildup at my roots. Thanks for sharing.
im from miami too and frizz is always my biggest problem.. seeing this gives me hope. if its not to0o much, could you also drop were you get your hair cut/trimmed? im always so scared to go to whomever to cut my hair yunno? thank you so much for sharing again ❤️
I have pretty similar hair to yours, it's mixed, has ringlets underneath and many waves😁 You use some oils after washing, doesn't it weight down you hair? What happens if you skip the oils? Would love to see more hair videos❤
Argan oil is a dry oil it doesnt weigh down hair as long as you dont go past 3 to 4 drops
Thank you for this. I want to switch my curly hair routine for I have only definition and no volume. I will definitely try out the products you listed here.
Thanks love! To get a little more volume while air drying try carefully flipping the top of your hair from side to side as it dries. ♥️
omg my hair is looks exactly like your hair!
You have beautiful hair! And the second day hair looks even better, how is that possible?! LOL If I use even half that amount of product, my waves fall dead flat :-(
For the first time... a person with a hair that looks just like mine ❤❤❤
Yaaaaas! Thanks queen for uploading it!
Holy...this video may change my life. I have always hated dripping wet hair and applying gel out of shower! I am going to try your method!
I love your hair, it’s gorgeous! Very similar to mine!
Hey beautiful! I’d love if you made a video about all your house plants and outside plants if you haven’t already ☺️♥️ love ya!
I can’t wait for my hair to grow back so I can try this routine
Lots and lots of products you use man where do you get so much time though? 🐸
This is exactly my natural hair if they don't frizz and I do my routine correctly
By the way this routine is very inspiring
