Here's a lil tip on Lithium batteries, when they are cold the electrons don't flow so well, turn your ignition on, let the electrons flow a min or two and then hit the button, will spin over faster. Lithium batteries are very good expelling all their energy all at one time, not so good for long durations like a boat battery (deep cell). Run your tender wire on the other side of the bike, the other side without the pipe, i've burned up my share of tender wires. Always hook the positive up 1st, if you ground out the positive it will weld and expel all the batteries energy at once, FIRE FIRE FIRE
Tip: buy an extended lead, run it up the wall & ceiling and drop it down between the car and the bike if you end up switching the battery lead to clutch side. When not in use roll it up above your head area and Velcro strap it at arms reach
The battery charger has what’s called a float mode; when it hits 13.3 it goes into float until it drops, I believe, to 12 and then kicks back into charge mode. BTW when you pulled out the battery did you lose all or any of your settings in the radio?

Thanks Jim. Can you use the bike's original tender wire with the new trickle charger or do you have to replace the bike's wire with one in the box?

Put the entire SS 475 kit with oil pump, lifters on my bike. Never looked back. Greatest improvement I have ever done to my 2020 RGS

The last battery I changed on my last RG did not affect the radio settings.
