I'm Harley through and through these days and currently have three Harleys in my garage, BUT, I come from a motorcycle drag racing back ground. I've owned several GSXR 1000's, Busa's, ZX14's and a zx12. I mostly ran 1/8 mile in the 5.60 class but did 1/4 mile from time to time. I said all that to say that's it's actually pretty impressive how far Harley has come with these M8 motors. If you were to take your bike to a prepped track and get a little seat time, you'd run 12.00's-12.10's all day. You may already know this, but a rule of thumb is for every 10th you take off your 60ft, it takes about 2 10's off you 1/4 mile E.T. On a prepped track with a good rider, that CVO ST would be in the 11.50's. That's not bad at all for a stock 800lb motorcycle.
Nice runs! I have the privilege of riding newer CVO models (ST included) so it’s nice to see some Draggy numbers. Sucks about the speed limiter was hoping for some 60-130 numbers to compare with my V4. Weight difference is huge so comparing quarter mile is pointless (bottom 12s to bottom 10s) but was hoping the higher speed numbers would be closer, for comparison my V4 does 60-130mph in 4.78s and 100-150mph in 4.55s hopefully your mods will get rid of the limiter and we can see what she will do up top!
Not being critical I know Harley's don't rift to the sky but you sound like you shift a little early. You can probably get the first bite to a twelve flat if you revved out a little further and less tire pressure
I bought the 2024 like yours but Crome what do you think of the suspension compared to your Olins on the 2019 . Also did you find any tuner that will work yet
I think the stock suspension is better than the stock suspension that came on my 2019 - however, it isn't quite as good as my Ohlins on the Gold Bike..
I made a custom mount out of some GoPro mounts and a phone holder from Amazon lol I guess I should make a video on it.. I have had tons of questions about it.
@ Yes, would love to see it in a video! Plus some pics, if you can. For me, and I think many others, this is the perfect place to mount our phone. If you made these, I would be very interested.
I have a Road Glide 2020 128 515 CR cam , 64 throttle body , 62 injectors , Krome works exhaust 2-1 outlaw , Olins front and rear , Saddleman etc . My question is would you trade that in for a 2024 like yours , and would it be worth it . Also I have low rider st with a 132 same up grades very fast . I have a question for you about the draggy , I bought one and have not used it before any suggestion . Also I’m thinking you must turn the T/C off before you try it . What time would you think my Road Glide should do .
Thanks that what I wanted to hear. I have been riding a long time , I owned a HD dealer ship in Colorado 20 years ago . Raced dirt and road had a lot of bikes , Ducati’s ktm etc . Am 83 thanks for the info . Also few for North West Airline (Delta)out of Dtw for 23 year’s years . Chuck
fast enough that spending all your time watching Harley influencers trying to sell you upgrades is a waste of time. buy a sport bike if you need crazy speed. you could've bought a Honda vtx 1800 for $5000 and been done, instead of $40000 after upgrades and labor to get the same bike.
Harley should’ve put the cvo st on sportier tires, there are better dunlop models out there if they really wanted to stick with that company. If not, cruisetecs would’ve been great.
i bought a 2006 honda vtx 1800 for $5500...do the quarter mile around 12s with right person at throttle....i just cant see spending what harley wants for their new bikes

Great video! Enjoyed seeing what they can do.. excited to see a stage 2 on both bikes
Thank you, somebody finally putting some numbers out instead of just hp&tq. Thank you for your content
I like that dash on the new glides. Awesome bike man
Great video and content. I’ve done similar tests on my 2020 CVO on my channel a while back. I’m surprised how close the CVO ST to the stock times are.
Mexico lol...
Big Bro knows exactly where you are and how fast you're going.
( By your both your phone & the GPS/Electronics in the bike ).
😂 All day, every day
Mexico is so nice this time of year, nice bike contemplating trading my 21rg for new cool vid thanks for info

Thank You, I appreciate that!
Nice. I’m going to that out. I would love to see what I’m running

Would you put a 21 front on this bike
@@charlesmccurry3602 I'm thinking about it..
Great video, thanks for putting this together! I also have a ‘24 Road Glide. How are you mounting your phone to the tank?

I would keep both and add a 24 to your fleet! All 3 bikes are different.. But I wouldn't sell either of your two bikes for a 2024..

Stock or CVO??
Do you still have the ST? Would be cool to see what that does in the 1/4 mile
The lowrider ST?
@@DOOWORKMOTORSPORTS yes sorry didn’t specify
@@Danny.leon02. Low Rider ST is gone!
Is the valve train really that loud ??
Yes, on the CVO ST the valve train is loud.. On my 117 the valve train is quiet. Its a known thing on the new CVO ST's I guess..
What phone holder is that?
I custom made it, I'm getting ready to make a video on it..
Ha! The Old road.
Should run it on track mode way faster, some people say sport mode is the same as
track mode i say they don't what they are talking about.
I'm going to make another dragy video solely on the CVO ST, and I am going to run it in both modes.. Stay Tuned for that!
Awesome, looking forward to that! Create a custom mode as well! 💨
The stock Dunlops are terrible. I can't wait to get them off of my 24 RG. I constantly lose traction.
Since when are 900 lb. cruiser / tourers meant for the drag strip?
Since it’s not 2016 anymore

Turn traction control back on. Wheel spin is useless moving forward.

12.5 guess.
Buy a harley😊

I agree!! The bike definitely needs a cruisetec or the Pirelli Night Dragon for a more "Sticky" tire in the rear to get some traction!
