I was going through AGM batteries about once every other year. It didn't matter if I kept it on a battery maintainer and the fact my bike is garage kept. I switched over to a lithium battery and the bike definitely starts up much better. I have a lot more cranking power now. We'll see how long it lasts.

Same here, about once a year. I agree the Lithium starts stronger for me too.

3 AGM batteries in 20 years for my Harley. I do keep mine on a battery tender after my daily rides. Heat is definitely a big factor.

Harley battery 🔋 is not good enough you should try the XS battery titan 8 big difference and crank amps and reservoir power it’s a little pricey but it’s worth it check volunteer audio

I've seen it! But is it overkill for a bike without a stereo system?

I had exactly the same battery issue on my Street Bob. The battery kept dying although I was charging it the night before. I stopped at a service station to put gas in and I tried to start her up just wouldn't turn over. The battery was completely dead. I thought maybe there was an issue with the motorcycle and would not keep the battery charged but after checking there was no problem with the bike. The battery was just completely dead. I have replaced it with a new HD battery hopefully this one lasts longer. Keep us updated with the lithium battery. 😊👍

I'll keep you posted! If this doesn't work then I'll have to check the charging system....fun times!

I am subscribed, to see how your lithium battery handles the heat. Please keep us up-to-date.

Thank you for subscribing!! So far no issues with the heat. Running great. I ride almost daily so I don't put it on a tender.

Any update for the battery? I got the same one and mine worked great for the first 4 rides now it’s dead and I use the Harley charger made for the lithium battery after every ride and it’s still not working

So far no issues, starts right up. Maybe you have a parasitic drain somewhere? Do you have neon lights or other accessories?

It’s a CVO with more speakers and I ride with the radio all the way up. Seems that an upgraded stereo is too much for this battery even when I charge after every ride. Thanks for the input

Sounds like a sick system. You probably need something like this: garagebaggerstereo.com/products/xs-power-li-s925-lithium-harley-davidson?variant=32252890447955¤cy=USD&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwqf20BhBwEiwAt7dtdfMw2FZVJVSpkA8geeRL62rlQ2IWodWq4c1i7Nt7UrMVmYA9RGEyOxoCMugQAvD_BwE

@@WeRide2 I agree it’s my next purchase. It’s frustrating I just spent 350.00 for the HD now another 750.00 for the Titan8 and on an Army pay budget it takes time to make save for a second purchase

Don’t you need a special voltage regulator for the lithium ion battery?

They say boats are money pits, but anything Harley is crap by the sound of things. If it wasn't for parts I don't think Harley would exist. When you buy an Indian you are lucky if you can buy 5 genuine accessories. You
