- Katherine "Kat" Massey, 72, was one of 10 people killed at Tops on Jefferson Avenue in Buffalo on May 14, 2022. On February 15, 2023, the gunman was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
THAT was a Victim Impact Statement...no notes, not being read from what was written...from the heart. God Bless the families of the deceased and injured.

@@tatianarodriguez6607 - Okay, in the State of New York, there is no death penalty, like in say, California or Texas. He got punished on the state level. However, if he does not take a plea deal, which is possible, they could file for the death penalty.
