- The gunman who killed 10 people and injured three others in the Buffalo mass shooting has been sentenced to life without parole on the state charges he faced.
The judge is a real one, she literally broke down the historical timeline of racism and the affect it's had on people of color in this country.. first time I've heard such honesty and sincere words spoken from a judge love her ...
If she could have she would have givem 10 life terms served one after the other, like she did with the 25 yr terms.
This is the first time I've heard someone say that this country was founded on white supremacy.

No, I really believe that would let him off too easy. He is only 19 and hopefully has a long life ahead of him. He says sorry now, but he doesn't mean it. It's more a hope for some sliver of leniency. A long hard life in prison. All the years of his life spent in the knowledge he put himself there. Then one night as he tries to go to sleep, maybe 40 years from now, the bitterest regret will come to him and in THAT moment, he will understand true justice.

I also grew up in a two parent home and do not subscribe to the political, or religious beliefs of my parents. However they did teach me empathy, tolerance, compassion, patience and to respect ALL human life.

I read the statement from his parents regarding his sentencing, and they seem to be decent parents. They didn’t make up any excuses for his behavior and agreed that he now will be held accountable for his actions.
