- Deja Brown, the daughter of Andre Mackniel spoke, saying he went to the store on May 14 to buy a cake for her little brother on his birthday.
He went there to buy a birthday cake for his 3 year old son.

My dad has been in my life was married to my mom and after they divorced continue to be a great father.

If Andre Mackniel's Daughter ever read this, my advice to you would be to let go of the hate you have for you're father's killer. I can't think of anything positive that can come from holding on to it. In a sense, his killer wins when you hold on to that hate. Instead, put no energy into your dad's death, put it into his legacy and how he lived. Be everything to your lil bro that your dad was for you and then some. He's going to have questions about y'all father: what was he like, how was his character.....and so on, focus on being there to answer those questions for him and remember that the 2 of you (+ any other siblings) are your dads legacy. How he lives on now is thru all of you. Make him proud! ❤💪🏾✊🏾

How many parents children have committed atrocities and the parents say “we didn’t raise him/her, that way”? Children obviously have other influences in life aside from their parents.
