    Alright people, I got it, didn’t use jack stands. Not everyone and their mom has to comment it, I obviously would have used them if they were available to me, calm down and stop getting your little panties in a bunch. And if you still comment it, well hey thanks for the view and the comment.

    Use jack stands I learned the hard way, jack gave out and had a 2007 suburban fall on me. Do not skip on using jack stands. Safety IS important

    I saw someone asked about your exhaust. Did you say, you just removed the stock muffler all together? If not, what muffler are you using? Any issues with inspection or check engine lights?

    • @Shooff3.4
      @Shooff3.4  4 года назад

      Yup, just removed the stock muffler is all, and had pipe put in place of it to still exit out the rear. No check engine light or nothing, only thing you will for sure notice when deleting the muffler or getting a louder exhaust is the 4 cylinder mode gets drony, either you can live with it or delete it lol but I’d doesn’t effect anything at all with how the truck runs

    at what heights are the ball joint sitting after the leveling kit ? i've ordered the same one and i was wondering cause i've seen another video of a guy discouraging to install those as will worn out the ball joint super fast.. have you had any issue so far ? also since i will be installing the same one pretty soon do you have any suggestion about the installation ? thanks and great video !

    • @Shooff3.4
      @Shooff3.4  5 лет назад +4

      As far as I know it didn’t change them that much, and as of now being on this since September my ball joints are still good, and as far as installing, really wasn’t that bad, just pretty much I had to damn near remove the entire sway bar cuz she didn’t wanna move, and you’re gonna need a LOT of force to put the strut back in, so either two people or a big ass bar to hold down the lower control arm. Let me know how it goes for ya! If you have any questions during, just DM on Instagram or something. Hope you like it! And thanks for watching!

      Alessandro DO.... NOT.... run this kit without new fitting control arms.

    • @DF-et4gs
      @DF-et4gs 3 года назад

      @@bulletman4512 you're 100% correct. You can see the tire is tipped out, a new upper control arm that has angle compensation for a lift corrects that. They come in different angles depending on how much lift you go. Keeps the front tire flat on the ground.

    • @Shooff3.4
      @Shooff3.4  3 года назад

      Tire is tipping out because you change the camber when you install the kit and the kit and need an alignment to bring back camber. Going on year three with these control arms and they are still perfectly fine

  • @wvhillbilly2818
    @wvhillbilly2818 2 года назад

    Buddy if you would have pulled the nut for the cv axle it would have given you more room and less strain to push down the lower control arm . Good job thought

      I haven’t had one issue with this kit yet, and I love it. Pretty solid, only thing you have to do is get it aligned. Otherwise everything works just as it should no issues, and I just checked all my ball joints and bearings and everything’s still solid

    Do you like having those shiny chrome finish rims, or are you going to paint or plasti-dip them? Seems like I seen more ass in this video then the work being done, lmao.

    • @Shooff3.4
      @Shooff3.4  5 лет назад +1

      carbuff81 I will never plastidip wheels I think it looks worse in my opinion, but that’s just me. I like either shiney/chrome or painted correctly black or whatever color

    • @carbuff81
      @carbuff81 5 лет назад +1

      You are one of the few people that actually like the look of shiny chrome, most people I know cover up the chrome trim with black or carbon fiber. Now my Audi had gloss black/piano black trim on the windows and door pillars, they were fingerprint and scratch magnets, so I ordered stainless steel pillar posts and window trim that stick on right over the existing factory trim. Like yourself, I too prefer shiny/chrome/stainless steel over black.

    • @Shooff3.4
      @Shooff3.4  5 лет назад +1

      carbuff81 oh I was just talking about wheels. Anything else I like black or color matched on the car. Actually is the reason I bought this specific truck is because it had color matched bumpers and grill. I don’t like chrome bumpers or accents at all. Those I prefer color matched. Only thing I absolutely love chrome on a vehicle is the wheels

    • @carbuff81
      @carbuff81 5 лет назад +1

      My brothers 2018 Ram Laramie has chrome bumpers and chrome mirrors and a chrome grille, chrome rims too! There is a ton of chrome on the Laramie edition Dodge Ram. Will send you pictures of his on instagram. On my vehicle if I don't do chrome, I would prefer to do carbon over over a glossy black trim. I just don't like the factory pillars that comes on a car because once they scratch, you really can't fix it. So mine had a blemish, so I bought overlays to cover up the blemished area, lol.

    • @Shooff3.4
      @Shooff3.4  5 лет назад

      carbuff81 I don’t mind the chrome rams, just think it looks more luxurious than sporty
