- This is a commentated playthrough of Quake 2 for the PC, played through the 2023 re-release (KexQuake 2) sourceport on the Nightmare difficulty. All of the units will be played from a 'clean start', and all the kills and secrets will be demonstrated. In this video, I play Unit 3 - Jail.

Really enjoying these, it has been a long time since I played through Quake 2 and I don't think I ever paid the single player enough attention to know all the secrets.
Now the difficulties ramping up. I do love the Power Shield it really helps you out under a horrible situation here. Looks like the Rugrats characters really are traumatized with this place LOL! 😂Well played here Dwars! 🙂

So excited the remaster of this came to playstation, I cant wait to play it myself. Played the original Quake for the first time last year and had a blast.

Is that song that plays by those crawling insane marines a result of video editing or is that a mod?
Also it’s worth killing some of these marines as some of them drop ammo and rarely even weapons. Not all of them do, I’d recommend using the blaster as to not waste ammo. But if you don’t want to then don’t, there’s plenty of ammo to go around.
Is the Rugrats music a mod?
Wow, a barrel that's highly combustible doesn't mind when a hot deadly laser is being shot at it, who knew...
Also, the heck is that music playing from time to time? Your ringtone or doorbell?
I mean, there has to be enough oxygen and enough time for heat to transfer in order for flammable chemicals to combust, let alone explode. In real life, explosive barrels filled with TNT or even Nitroglycerin don’t explode when shot.
Its a joke about the grunts crawling around - its the Rugrats theme song, a tv show that was on Nickelodeon during our childhoods about the secret life of babies
