There has been a long standing series on TV about him and his charity which he narrated. They rescue and when possible, release wild animals. Wildlife SOS I think it's called. Sadly, Simon has terminal cancer. Hence "Simon's last wish". He was the one who set up the whole organisation and has a wish to raise money for a project IIRC. I have made a donation a while ago which is why I can't precisely remember what the money is for.

@@y_fam_goeglyd They got land and want to build a new bigger wild life center as his legacy. Currently they are operating from his house which is too small anyway and taxes will be huge once the daughter inherits it so there is a danger they do not have a location to operate from(They got their own vet practise, rooms and land for injured wild life to recover etc). They use donated money for this.

People, put up your dang nets! This story ended as well as it could have, thanks to Simon. And the fox was so tough and mean and really feisty. I'm glad everyone survived the encounter with him.
It's being used as a trellis. People are allowed to have gardens.
That's not the first time we've seen one of these "fox cubs trapped in netting" videos, too. I would just use a standard wood trellis.
Net trellis looks so tacky anyway. Wood is organic and looks beautiful.

If I was a millionaire, I'd give money to any rescue, sanctuary or Foundation I could. I thought for years I could open a rescue for elderly dogs that nobody wants but I'm too old for that now. God bless you who are saving foxes. Every creature created by God deserves a chance at life. 🙏🙏
about 10 years ago a woman in Ireland left her entire fortune to local animal shelters it was just under 11 million euro.

Opal,yes,I have been vegan for years.
After learning about the horrific cruelty in factory farms and violent murders in slaughter houses I wanted nothing to do with it.
Paying someone to abuse and kill animals, as you say " sentient beings " on my behalf is not an option when I can easily choose something else to eat that doesn't cause suffering and death to anyone.
You sound like a compassionate person, what stops you from becoming vegan ?

Yes I’m compassionate and member of PETA. Rescue my pets.
I’ve tried being vegan and my health (including mental health - depression) and seemed to be negatively impacted.
The main animal products I consume are organic free range eggs and chicken and sustainable fish. Occasional grass fed organic beef. It’s not a diet for everyone’s body, unfortunately.
@@jjradV Agree with you completely, which is why this month I can say I've been vegan for 37 years. I just wish I had been one my whole life (I'm 75).

What a Wonderful man Simon is, for rescuing the little fox, who without Simon's help would sadly have died. The little cub was a feisty little thing, but Simon had a very calming voice & l think that helped the cub calm down. Thankyou Simon & l hope everything goes well for you xx❤😊😊😊

The lesson is to make sure any sports nets are kept safely rolled up, at least a few cm off the ground so that wildlife can get underneath.
