Still conveys everything I feel about the futility of war. There must be, there is other ways of resolving our differences. If not we need to find a way fast. Love and peace is the answer. Hippy days long gone but always in my heart.
Unfortunately wars are not about differences ...there is nothing to resolve. War is just a profit making institution... for our handlers ...who control all sides. Not to mention...land grabs...and population purges. There is only one side...their side. We are just cockroaches to them.
2023: Came to hear this as I immerse myself in Wild Tales, feeling bad David was in no shape to contribute this go-round, feeling bad I missed you, Graham, for your recent Chicago stop. I’ve spent my life listening to you and your friends; my gratitude is bottomless.
Saw the Hollies recently in Southend, Essex UK. I'm a huge 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s fan but somehow Graham slip through the net. I am p'd off that I missed his and CSNY's contribution. Just hoping GN tours once more in blighty.
Never heard that version and was a little worried about the tempo compared to the original, but it worked just great, Stephen always on top of his game! Love you Graham!
Speak for yourself. Like any decade, the 80's had high points and low points. The children from the sixties think they had the market cornered on "cool". They didn't. The counterculture "fought" the establishment, then they became the establishment. Had a lot of great times and great memories in the 80's. It was a refreshing direction after four years of Jimmy Carter, oil embargos and bad clothes.
NOTHING beats LIVE bands of HUMANS playing ,creating and enjoying the art of Music and Dance TOGETHER! One person singing along to AI loops in scimpy dress just don't get it for this kid!

Never seen a guitar like the one Nash’s is playing!
It’s a National Map guitar. Made of some kind of resin. Quite rare I think

@@stormbringercoming8105 Ok, name some of them
This performance is clearly in the 80's for what it's worth, and their fashion and the arrangement reflect it.
The 80's was filled with brilliant music my friend. Whether its your generation or not we can't deny that.
nice song for the sake of country good memories
MILITARY MADNESS IS KILLING MY SPRIT
PLEASE FATHER MAKE IT STOP
genius.....
Wish I knew who’s playing harmonica. But what a rollicking version of a great song that’s still so sadly relevant.
Norton Buffalo.

"War..War...War...War..are ee are...."
Was this performance around the time the C guy was in prison? Looks like Eighties style clothing.
Who is the harmonica player? Norton Buffalo?
+barry stelling I'm thinking it's Jimmie Fadden from The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band... I might be wrong...

What kind of guitar is Nash playing here?
