So what you're saying is the two plays that Garrett drew up were garbage and Tony Romo made the clutch play call AND throw in the playoffs? No wonder the dude never won a ring, how hard do you think it is to coach and play at the same time?!

I'll second that. My two favorite QBs all time are Favre and Rodgers. After them, despite the star on the helmet, Romo, who has similar qualities (gunslinger, great improviser, deep football smarts, capable of keeping even a shitty roster competitive). The guy was pure Box Office, fun as hell to watch, and chronically undervalued. Funny, now that he's not wearing that helmet, people are beginning to understand (or maybe finally admit) just how good he was. Football is a little less exciting without him out there. And the Cowboys are boring and unlikable again.

The refs really blew that game big time. A picked up PI flag in crunch time, that should've been an easy call, and Dez storming 15 yds onto the field to dispute said PI is a clear violation and should've been a penalty. Absolute joke of officiating, makes me wonder how the NFL decides who officiates the playoffs if this is the team they put out there.

You had not one but two chances to win the game and fumbled them both away. Don't give me this bullshit about Detroit losing the game due to a flag being picked up. If you truly were the better team you would have stopped Witten on 4th and 6 in the first place or at least stop Dallas from taking the lead with a TD pass to Williams.
So tired of this whining from Lions fans. You lost the game fair and square and that penalty was rightly picked up. It was an uncatchable ball. As for Dez storming the field? In the playoffs officials rarely call that kind of thing as a penalty. And regardless you had your chances to win and blew them.

Game was rigged. That flag that got picked up when the lions were driving was bogus, how Dez was allowed to come on the field with his helmet off screaming, and how on the Cowboys’ game winning drive there were multiple holds not called. I love football and don’t think the sport is fixed but that game... that game was a representation of the bigger sports market getting an advantage from the refs in a big game.
