So what you're saying is the two plays that Garrett drew up were garbage and Tony Romo made the clutch play call AND throw in the playoffs? No wonder the dude never won a ring, how hard do you think it is to coach and play at the same time?!
Best call of the year came from Romo. Not Garrett. (narrator's words)
Especially after what Garrett did last night...
Fire Garrett, get Tony in here as the head coach!
@@michaelhansen5185 do it. Everyone who talks about Romo says he is a great football mind. Listening to him calling a game he is so technically savvy about offense... At least make him O cord.
MrAwsomeshot xxdfkkool
No matter what team you like you gotta respect both witten and romo. Great players shame they never had a coach to compliment them
Parcells could have been the guy if not for Jerry’s meddling
Most underrated qb-tight end duo ever
Had they spent more time preparing for their playoff game vs. the Giants in 2007 they may have made it to the Super Bowl. They were part of a team that under performed every year. Just two guys who accumulated stats -- but zero championships.
@@epm5433 fun fact, Crayton messed up on 2 plays to win the game
They were no way underrated.. you know..!! Not even a bit underrated they were.. they were treated as great as Brady-Gronk and Rodgers-Nelson.. come on don't try to be sympathetic..
Black Skip Bayless I’m a pats fan and kind of agree
This was a REALLY memorable play in the game. Such a slick route.
Tony needs to be on the coaching staff
Or play. Damn injuries.
6 plyrich better than garret
My boy WITT! I wish you could’ve got a ring! Thank you for giving your all for the boys 🙏🏽
many people hate on romo...i don't get it.. i like this guy
Could've used some of this last night
Absolutely!
Everyone is now realizing how bad the teams tony dealt with most of his career the defense isnt the issue no passing game at all
Rudy T true lmao
Good news! Y option will be back in 2019!
Bad news it didnt help
The man deserved a ring, hell!! Both of them did. packers fan btw
I'll second that. My two favorite QBs all time are Favre and Rodgers. After them, despite the star on the helmet, Romo, who has similar qualities (gunslinger, great improviser, deep football smarts, capable of keeping even a shitty roster competitive). The guy was pure Box Office, fun as hell to watch, and chronically undervalued. Funny, now that he's not wearing that helmet, people are beginning to understand (or maybe finally admit) just how good he was. Football is a little less exciting without him out there. And the Cowboys are boring and unlikable again.
Solid Steel343 couldn’t agree more. Witten is such a class act, sportsman, gentleman and the pride of my home state … Tennessee
It sucks that the Cowboys with a bad team and Romo we're more exciting to see than current Cowboys with dominant running back oLine defense....
This video mad me so happy. Jason and Tony were one of the top passing duos of all time.
Romo will be missed. Troy won us 3 but Romos heart & sacrifice is unmatched.
Yeah
Those two are going to be Hall of Famers
Santiago Magana why Romo?
nalim lattarai why not Romo
nalim lattarai he carried dallas for years
Carried dallas to nowhere
It's yah boyKe carried them to two playoff wins.
Witten runs in slowmo and manages to get open, amazes me evritime
Romo one of my favorite QBs hes great at reading coverage
Best play in Witten's career by Garrett's own words, and he didn't even call it...
Man I miss these two... I'm glad that they both went into broadcasting, it's cool that they can stick around.
Best TE of all time. Such a great chemistry with his QB.
chill lol
And now Jason Garret can't go for it on 4th and 1 in OT
Gonzalo Rodriguez III no no no
That freaking Witten is back and I'm an Eagles fan that smells trouble
GOAT
I'm not crying...you're crying
Can we please get rid of Dak and bring a QB of Romo’s caliber back? Either Romo himself Or a young talent first round next year? Thanks JJ
Bet them Boys wish they had Romo back right about now...
Y-OPTION > Y-BANANA 😂
Romo to Witten is there any better QB and TE, God loves you
Angel_God is love Garcia in fortunately yes....... Tom To gronk
Webster's Dictionary describes Chemistry as Romo to Witten Y option.
Jason Garrett is the Princeton clapper and a puppet
you got it from whitlock? :))
I remember Witten laughed when Parcells said that he should retire like Romo did after 2016 season. Then Witten signs a contract extension through 2021 before 2017 season. Saying he loved and should be a part of the growing team. Then he retires after 2017 season.
*NFL Films **_Kreygasm_*
I need u to be our coach tony
Players like Garrett, replace Linehan maybe...
3:40 Romo breaks collarbone
Lol.. cowboys fan but funny.
He is going to coach in Dallas one day. And Witten will be on Staff.
Is that Jamie Colby narrating?
Tony Romo should be a Hall of Famer but they won’t put him in. 😒
I think they will
After all the commentary, maybe...
Hi
It's a shame that this play is hyped instead of a Super Bowl win. They deserved that.
Dez caught it
I miss witten.
Imagine if the cowboys gave Dez the respect they gave witten... Dez could still play when they cut him, yet they let witten treat playing for the cowboys like a rec softball team... dude was done his last two seasons
4:41 anyone else see the. Broncos guy
A picked up flag after they set the chains and was ready for play helped as well
Romo for head coach 2020
i wish they went like into the film not just interviewing tony
Welp he's back
tony romo was good...
Funny that the biggest game they could highlight from Romo's Cowboys was just for one playoff win.
Tony should be on the coaching staff, the problem is that he would solve all of Prescott's problems, and most people would not give him enough credit, they would say it's Prescott's talent, and that's not true, Prescott sucks
You guys one that game off of a bad call
Travis Katsma the we lost the next round off of a bad call
Where is Katie?
Sigh....those were the days.....
Can go for it on 4th and 6 but not 4th and 1 in ot
Ricky Rogers on the opponent 40 yard line yeaa fire garret
Don't forget the little help of the reff to Cowboys to win this game
Dude cut it out. That was a call that happened with 8 minutes left on the clock. They still got the ball with 2 minutes left and fumbled twice. More to it than that, you had Calvin Johnson single covered by Brandon Carr. How do you not exploit that match up? So miss me with the refs helped bs. Also if memory serves correctly weren't the lions up by 17 in the first half because of bad calls?
😰😰😰😭
coaches only post season win was given to him by romo's play call
put romo back in... as coach..
Notice the hold by Leary #65 😂😂😂😂
It was the reffs that led them to a playoff win..
56Thunderstruck then the refs blew the next round...what’s ur point
Jason Garrett held the Cowboys back from accomplishing great things. Sad because Parcells left a great team in Dallas.
Love Jason Witten greatest TE of all time
#FireGarrett
Best tight end ever
wowoowowwowow
Talk about the pass interference
Jerry loves puppets
FIRE Garrett
Man the bar is pretty low "win a playoff game" ...cowboy fans are overdramatic.....
Nfl films. Honoring a great player. Relax dude.
All this for a 6 foot 5 received who runs a 5 and in? I don’t see the big deal lol
If tony romo coached the Cowboys we’d be a playoff team
:,)
First
sike
That route and cut was nasty. Also, Jason Garrett is an awful coach.
Lions should’ve won that playoff game
no
Joseph Mendes yeah and we would of won state if coach had just put me in
bliztix2 I’m not a lions fan if that’s what you’re implying, I watched the game and what I said is the truth
Joseph Mendes, I use to be able to throw a football over them mountains
bliztix2 go on...
"How the Refs led the Cowboys to a playoff win".
I remember Stafford getting a chance with the ball to win and he fumbled twice in one drive, lions always fold like a cheap lawn chair
Jacob
Awww are you salty? Fumbled twice on the last drive to win. Stfu
It's ok. Payback, look what happened in green Bay 😂
Romo Yells TENNESSEE and they don't know it's going to Jason Witten on third down? Make is anymore obvious why don't you
I wish Romo wasn't made of sticks and glue
The refs really blew that game big time. A picked up PI flag in crunch time, that should've been an easy call, and Dez storming 15 yds onto the field to dispute said PI is a clear violation and should've been a penalty. Absolute joke of officiating, makes me wonder how the NFL decides who officiates the playoffs if this is the team they put out there.
Two blown calls in the 4th quarter is unacceptable, not sure what that has to do with what I said
Golladay then we got screwed even worse next round... what’s ur point
That the refs made two horrible mistakes in the 4th quarter? Not sure how I can be more clear
You had not one but two chances to win the game and fumbled them both away. Don't give me this bullshit about Detroit losing the game due to a flag being picked up. If you truly were the better team you would have stopped Witten on 4th and 6 in the first place or at least stop Dallas from taking the lead with a TD pass to Williams.
So tired of this whining from Lions fans. You lost the game fair and square and that penalty was rightly picked up. It was an uncatchable ball. As for Dez storming the field? In the playoffs officials rarely call that kind of thing as a penalty. And regardless you had your chances to win and blew them.
The only playoff win 😂 what a joke
Chachi that wasn’t the only playoff win for these two plays
@@TRAILBLAZER1400 OH I'm sorry is it two playoff wins that they have?
That picked up flag sure helped.... give me a break
It would’ve been awesome if both these guys played for the Texans instead of the trash team in the DaLLas cowgirLs
Tom Brady Shady #CheatSquad#KissMeLikeMySon#WOAT why do you do this
Stfu you dumb cheatriots fan
Lions got robbed that game
Really So the Cowboys got rob by the Green Bay Packers.
I think the picked up pass interference is what led to the cowboys win
They cheated the lions that’s how they won
Really?? And still the Lions had their chances. The problem was they couldn't score against the Cowboys.
Àhh........🤔. Nothing highlights a decades long football career more than one single playoff win......😂😂😂. . Good god, I guess the cowboys really are that bad.. What a joke
He had two playoff wins, you jealous idiot.
James Wise no defense lol
Game was rigged. That flag that got picked up when the lions were driving was bogus, how Dez was allowed to come on the field with his helmet off screaming, and how on the Cowboys’ game winning drive there were multiple holds not called. I love football and don’t think the sport is fixed but that game... that game was a representation of the bigger sports market getting an advantage from the refs in a big game.
Justin Kiwi holding happens on every play
Yeah the refs rigged when the lions punter kicks ten yards on a fourth and one.
you dumb ass it shouldn't have been a 4 and 1
not when the nfl says they missed calls
I think that depending on who the refs are they have a tendency to call for more things. Like the refs that did the superbowl, I hardly ever see them call for holding, but they always flag for contact, like pass int. I think it just depends.
and the refs for picking up that PI flag
refs won that game
Romo is horrible
Wooo, the dreaded Y-Option that had NFL defenses quivering in their cleats, NOT. Witten and Romo produced ZERO championships and never came close. There was a time when Dallas used Super Bowls as a measuring stick. Thanks to an inebriate GM and a mediocre coach those days are long gone.
Great true story,book titled-"Cowboy Mafia" 🌿🪴..
