Like you say Graham easy task to do cam chain rattle mine is the same from cold soon goes away once running after a couple off minutes nothing to worry about yeah 8 thounsand for a oil change seems the norm these days . All modern oils are good these days just your own choice which brand you use still cold and frosty here will tax mine as and when it gets a bit better loads off salt down around here.
Graham, thanks for another vid with useful tips and info. BTW, unconnected with this, sorry, but when you start the bike and get going, when does your ABS light go out?
I do on occasions, if I'm accelerating hard, needs practice to get it right, but satisfying, alternatively I just take weight off the clutch with just a slight pressure on clutch lever. I must stress this is not a recommendation just what I do on occasions. Cheers
NOTE: 10w30 (UK) recommended by Honda, Torque setting sump bolt 29nm 21ftlb. Tricky to get socket on (well mine), 3.2 litres manual, 3.9 litres dct with filter.

Yea I think I'd mentioned it had always done it (on and off) and have heard many others do it.

Thank you. OK my abs light goes out around about 6 mph. Which I believe is normal.
Hi Graham. This is not oil related but shifting gears. Can we change gears without pulling in the clutch lever? Up shifts that is? Vfr 1200f
