Hicks looks like the best starter on the roster.
He damn is ! Effortlessly pitching under 85 in 6 or 7 innings, 3 games and no loss 👊
he shook it off when held his knee/leg in one pitch and trainer came out . He showed composure and solid strong mental to get out of trouble couple
times

Miller looks nasty. He looks like a legit lefty. 99 fastball, filthy change and slider. Wow when he’s on he looks like he could dominate leftys.
Hicks is doing great! Definitely the most consistent starter in our rotation so far. If Webb and Snell can start getting into a groove, our rotation could be one of the best in baseball.

You just know the Giants are playing well when a base runner gets a dirt bib.
Can someone remind me what a "catch" is in baseball? Young had the ball for a good 2 steps before crashing into the wall and dropping it. There's 2 outs so it's not like he needs to make a transfer, but it looked like he had it cleanly secured in his glove before hitting the wall. If we borrow football rules it'd be a completed pass.

@@TheLrizzo Thanks. I understand that, but at what point is the ball considered "secure"? Like I totally get how balls get knocked out of gloves, like we saw how Kim lost it when he tried to tag Soler last week. If Young got 3 more steps in and he used the wall to stop his momentum and the ball popped out I would believe that the umps would have called it a catch.

What will really drive you crazy is the "infield fly" rule where the batter is automatically called out even if the defense fails to catch it 😂

i don’t think he’ll get enough innings because he hasn’t thrown more than 105 in his career and the giants are probably going to try decrease his workload as the season goes on
