      I played middle infield in college and coached travel ball for years. I know a good coach when I see one. You’re not good your great!!! Seriously I’m very impressed with your drills and the quality reps your student got. Kid got a lot of fundamental work in and if I’m not mistaken there was no fungo bat in that video. When I worked with kids I never used a fungo I started by putting a ball on the ground and showed them how to walk in and get ready and how to come around the baseball and work through it. Got to master A before you get to B. That’s my theory for the younger kids especially. Keep doing what you’re doing.

    What is the benefit of using the training glove instead of a regular glove?

      It teaches you where the “kill spot” is, which is where the ball makes contact at the base of the index finger. If you make contact there, the ball doesn’t spin and can be deflected to the throwing hand.
