@@MarkSantaMaria I crank it all the way down and back it off 1/2 turn. Just enough give to not hurt parts but tight enough it centers up and doesn't feel weird.
Hey Mark why don’t you raise 1/10 scale buggy and come out here to Tacoma and see if you can hang with us because you know as well as I do my nine-year-old can drive a four-wheel-drive I just think it’s a little harder but I love your videos bro you’re doing an awesome job keep it up and God bless
Running protek 100t throttle 130t sterr. Great so far in my losi truggy was thinking of racing at indy but I need more practice do not want to be a rolling speed dump.
My spring is dead after many jumps when I only back off like half a turn on my MT..wish that plastic piece that screw onto the servo is coming from the tray itself for steadier servo mounting...😁..after some removing and installing the servo, that piece 2 screw holes striped..
I been running a Savox high torque/high voltage servo for a while still running although doesn't center the best had to use a decent amount of sub trim and steering trim lol.
So I'm reallly wanting to get into building tekno kits but I really dont understand hearing motors and gears. Any advice. Ps. We dont have a race league here. Sure wish we did
@@MarkSantaMaria gear mesh. Servo motor the whole electronics. Building the kit wint be too big a deal. Pretty mechanically inclined. Picking the right electronics ,spur an pinion combos scare the heck out of me
I want to get alot of takeoff speed and top end speed. Probably be running on dirt. I'm gonna attempt to get a racing league started here in branson Missouri

That servo saver delete piece will break before the servo. In fact, after breaking two in pretty short order, I swapped back to using the servo saver.
thats what i was hoping, that it would break before the servo. So you run the servo saver turned all the way in?

Make a “how to get into club racing” video!! Different classes and tips👍🏼

Protek servos are great servos. I run them in my nt48.3 as well 150t steering and 150s throttle
That is the exact same setup that i run in my nitro buggy.
Good info bro..Servo savers get on my nerves!! lol

FYI Protek speed and torque servos are identical aside from gearing. Neither is more robust than the other

Had 2 sub..you throwing out some good tips bro:)
Thanks for the sub! Glad you liked it!
i dream to have a room that looks like yours one day
For someone that’s wanting to start racing what would you recommend for an electric 4wd buggy? I have been looking at the arma and team associated.
well i cant afford to buy new electronics every few months so i just run my stuff till its dead
Put on a shirt dude. I can’t see it.
haha... i love that shirt
What shirt!?
but why sell/buy a new car every season? also, would tekno give 50% off your next kit if you send them your car from last season? parts exchange... =)
i run a protea 170s servo in my trx4 and even rock crawling its amazing
Hey Mark, if you don't mind me asking, what camera and audio gear are you using in your workshop? Thanks.
If you've had it in 3 buggies you have saved your self loads Vs buying a new set every time!

Can you tell me what parts mat you have there on your right with the hex drivers.....
My esc is only 6v and 3amps, what's a good external bec? Because, I want to run my servo @ 7.4v? Thanks
I used to run a castle BEC. I didnt like it because its one more possible point of failure.
Its fine my old Hobbywing is only at 6v and I run a high voltage servo with a glitch buster on my.
Get a MKS 599 servo, those are the best.
Do you crawl too?
You need new music

I’ve never seen someone change a servo so fast!! Amazing. 😂
