I like the idea of bonding as much as possible! I use to tack, weld, spot weld. The sheet metal on a older car and weld or spot weld just rusted! I guess there is so much galvanic energy in a vehicle! I’m really thinking of putting zink at 4 foot increments to try and drive the corrosion towards zink instead of seams!
The alien clamp look is AWESOME! Super sound proofing to listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd tunes! Watch out Buffalo, a cool rail dragster is coming your way! Fun stuff!!
Lizard skin is another good product to use. Also remember when ordering the sound deadener that some are not meant for upside down and will fall with heat.
Awesome glue job man. That little dragster is COOL. Great minds think alike. Good thing for protection, you don't want to lose your junk in a rear end blow out. Thanks for the video share
Josh, truck is looking good and the old dragster build looks like fun. I use that 3M adhesive and Sikaflex practically everyday working on buses in the body shop.
Thanks for sharing, Josh! My guess would be that your replacement roof skin is now a permanent fixture! 'Looking forward to future reports! Enjoy! Be safe! Bro Harry
I enjoy your work
👍
That little dragster is going to be a rocket ship! Nice job on the top.
Way more motor than traction!

I try to spray Fluid Film inside any panels I weld on to coat the back and prevent corrosion.

Listening to tunes. Now you're assuming that the radio is going to work. 😅
@@QuickSpeedShop yeah!!
Also think about using sound deadner inside the door skins
That's a good idea 👍

Junk loss is no winning measure! 😅
Great job on the roof, really looking forward to the dragster build.
1st dragster video out this Sunday!

This is the first sound deadening stuff I have used and I couldn't believe it. I just wish it wasn't so dang expensive!
@@QuickSpeedShop Josh I agree that stuff is to expensive for what it is. In my opinion
Please do detailed videos on the build of the dragster that is going to be awesome...
Full build series on dragster starts this Sunday!
Of all your vehicles you have I love your Ford AA the most. I have dreams about those AA’S. Lol!
Did you plug up the cab corners to the roof to deter mice?
I'm going to do something about it, but not sure what yet.

Bro Harry
This epoxy is no joke! The roof will probably be the strongest part of the truck!
Nice job.
Enjoyed the video.
Agree that sound deadening stuff is quite expensive. Maybe several cans of bedliner material might do the same job cheaper.
It's expensive, but the deadening properties I think are worth it. I use Herculiner on the floors of stuff. It doesn't really do much for sound.
Nice work. Thanks.
👍
More beautiful work. What else can I say?
Thanks 💯💯
You crazy-crazy man you!
🤪
nice !
