I worked in the aircraft industry we adhesive sealed every component but you cant rely on sealant alone the parts would also need bolting also you dont wipe sealant off emediatly if correctly applied the adhesive would continue to hydrolic.
For channels and metal work What do you use to seal the channel? epoxy paint clear then urethane primer before the windshield install? I heard 3m panel adhesive brush on over new metal? please help the process for me.thanks. 1970 nova
SOP is NOT “STANDARD Operating Procedure “! SOP is “STANDING Operating Procedure “. This is a US Military term that was bastardized by those ignorant and guessing. Is there a difference is the usage of these two terms? Yes, definitely, especially if taken to a court of law, you won’t want to be using “standard” as this term offers ZERO deferring of a procedure.
had to chuckle at the start this viddeo with that grinder. .and as for the disc pad..if your using one and cant deternine where the eweld is after about 15 20 seconds of use..you should put all your tools on a pile and sell SUPER CHEAP and find something else to demonstrate.because if you ground them to where you cant see the welds.you had your eyes closed the wholle time..at 56 .im not buying that line at the slightest.nice one but some us lot brighter than that.half stuff with them blind welds are even visible with out a grind job..its 56 yrs experience is all seeing and paying attention..

How hard does that get when fully cured?
Curious why bond this vs just spot welding it back? How long do these adhesives last compared to a weld which can last a liftime without corrosion.
Welding accelerates corrosion. The panel bond actually has rust inhibitor built into it. This is a good repair in the right areas.
