Freddie Brown It is the contacts in the steering column that touch both sides of metal on your key. They are simply wearing out. That metal on the key is just a resistor. The contacts measure the ohms on the key and compare it to a preset amount in the computer. Gather all you keys and measure the ohms of the keys and get an average. Know go to radio shack or some place that sells the small electronic resistors. You'll only need one but it must be within 10% of the measured ohms from the keys. Now find the two smaller than normal diameter white wires coming from the steering column and cut them and then splice the resistor in to the wires coming from the dash board side. By doing this you are fooling the system into thinking that the proper key with the correct ohms has been installed.
I love this Park Ave, but much of the comparisons and commentary are blatantly misleading to make the Park Ave seem like it's more than it is. Gotta love early 90s American marketing!
Its meant to paint a mind picture. You have to FEEL these cars to actually drive them. That's something that is beneficial for everyone but people these days never seem to understand and blame the car when they tie it in knots and refuse to understand how to fix it. You want to talk about advertisements flat out lying about what they peddle, try taking a 2023 nissan rouge offroad and watch it crumble around you.
What a beautiful car
The woman's voice is perfect
Omg that comparison with the XJ40… now I see why they called this car an American Jaguar. Wow.
How do you even get your hands on a tape like that?
cerberus972 answer my question
Right without RUclips it would be impossible.
You'd be surprised what shows up on ebay

This must be a Canadian tape from the way they are pronouncing Acura as a-CUR-a rather than A-cu-ra at 1:58.
Love mine
Arguably one of the last good Buicks before the interior got crappy plastic everywhere and became rebadged Chevys and Opels.
Good car. V6 engine 3.1 Liter.
