Dr. Myres a Medical oncologist specializing in prostate himself a prostate cancer survivor after being fully metastasized. He adhered to Mediterranean diet very strictly. He stopped eating most of the things which Sidhu mentioned. And he defeated cancer. He was a very sought after doctor and had 4/6 month waiting for appointment. He advised strict diet control for fighting cancer. But he also advised allopathy medical treatments where ever required. But diet was his main weapon. Now Dr. Myres is very old and stopped his practice. But he can be seen on Google search.

I was detected of cancer in 2020. My case was advanced stage 3 at the boarder of stage 4, metastasis type.I have not taken any chemotherapy or radiation or medication according to allopathy treatment. Sir few questions: 1. Is there any scientific study which investigate the impact of nutrition on terminally ill cancer patients along with modern line if treatment? If not why not? Why to look nutrition as narrow or having no role in corrective course of action. If yes then please make a video? 2. Your statement that cancer cell doesn't feed on sugar instead it feeds on all nutrition. Then the question arises - is there any scientific study which have ruled out the sugar role in cancers? Actually sidhu's point was more towards that cancer cell consume energy more from sugar or carbohydrates. If sugar and carbohydrates can be avoided then these cells will assume to get less energy. I don't know if any such study exists. If not then it should be. 3. If modern line of treatment can be so effective then it should have better results at that stage . Then why not to combine these nutrition suggestions in cancer treatment as protocol and then assess the impact? 4. Sugar has definite role if not then why PET Scan use FDG? Can you tell how many oncologist asked their patients to stay on such dietary restrictions strictly as essential part of treatment and why don't they think it is important ? I know this is single case but you tube full of such miracles then why not join forces to achieve better result. Autophagy stage(Noble prize findings) has known to impact cancer then why you say it just good for health and not for cancer. Has anyone studied the impact of intermittent fasting in cancer patients? The answer is no then why not. 40 days are too short period. Could you quote any other examples just on modern line of treatment. So in nutshell what sidhu has done you are doing exactly the same I.e. A biased view. Rather it needs scientific study to converge both views for society . I am a social scientist in denmark and know th problem of divergent views in society..you are wrong and I am right....However social science says scientifically that there can be multiple ground truth at same time. Oh bhai open Google scolar and type your required study, there are millions of study available in the database. Instead of spending 15 mins asking to be spoonfed spends that time doing actual research by seeing peer reviewed papers on the internet. Let me put this in simple terms- good diet, healthy eating habits and intermetant fasting are promoted by doctors for years now anyways. it's good regardless of weather you have cancer or not but if radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery not done for cancer then it's all useless. Naturopathy and aurveda have been practiced for 1000s of years but the life expectancy is highest in today's time due to introduction of modern medicine.

This post is not a criticism, but a collaborative learning. You are a cardiologist. Even if you were oncologist. very few of the oncologists actually know and explain how radiation, chemotherapy or surgery affects the body or what is the mechanism thought behind it to work. I'll not go into the subject right now, but you should and try to read more about it. When you will research, you'll find all of this only destroys vital body cells, organs and important functions with a hope that it MAY kill cancer cells. One of the biggest pitfall of allopathic thinking is that it thinks cancer cells are the enemies, and the treatment would kill every cancer cell in the body which is practically impossible. So, what can stop the growth of cancer cells and further metastasis? Simple, change the internal environment of the body that brought the cancerous growth in the first place. In fact, these modem drugs make the situation so bad that if any cancer patient survives even after going through these poisonous and deadly modern treatments, that itself is a miracle. Doctor Sahab Sidhu never said he stopped medical treatment. Along with treatment he went for diet regime. As chances of survival for 4th stage cancer with metastasis is almost negligible that is why he feels that diet has played a major role in survival of his wife. I doubt if there is even 1% chance of survival for a 4th stage cancer patient with metastasis. I feel Sidhu has a strong case to present. But he never stopped treatment. Both things must have worked.

One should not stop taking allopathic treatment, as the survival rate has increased due to modern medicine, with age factors also playing a role. Sidhu Paaji should have mentioned that alongside treatment trying natural remedies can also be beneficial and harmless. I understand that Sidhu Paaji might have said this with good intentions, considering his position as a public figure. There will be many questions raised about modern treatment but allopathic medicine is still the solution for many conditions. Some cancers require aggressive treatment, depending on the type. Sidhu Paaji also spoke about sugar but almost no food is free from chemicals. Most food is adulterated and no food is truly safe these days. It is concerning to think about what the next generation will face.
Let me give my own exp. My FIL was ex service man very healthy, 75 years old in 2000, good foodie. He had a small growth under his arm pits since last 10 years. But no pain, no discomfort what so ever. Some time in April 2000 my own BIL who is MBBS, MD when he saw this he took him to hospital in Bengaluru and it was declared lymp node cancer stage 4. Immediately radiation, chemo was started. Within three months his appetite has gone, lost hair, became weak and we lost him within 6 months. Here comes naturopathy in hand. Indolant cells and non indolant cells difference we should understand. Petscan can not identify indolant or non indolant cells.

What the doctor means to say is that even with best of efforts some cancer cells which might have spread to other part of body through blood or normal cells which are yet in the process of turning to cancer cell may have escaped the treatment and may proliferate and cancer may recur in any other part of body only time will tell .

Sir I agree with you for the most part. Intermittent fasting and low carb or ketogenic diet should never replace Modern medicine. However there are peer review studies suggesting that augmenting modern therapies with intermittent fasting and a strict non inflammatory ketogenic diet does produce significantly better outcomes for some (not all) types of cancers. I'm not a believer in Ayurvedic medicine but following a carefully crafted fasting and keto regimen during treatment (while ensuring sufficient intake of fluids, nutrients, vitamins and minerals) does no harm. He stopped eating most of the things which Sidhu mentioned. And he defeated cancer. He was a very sought after doctor and had 4/6 month waiting for appointment. Sir few questions:
1. Is there any scientific study which investigate the impact of nutrition on terminally ill cancer patients along with modern line if treatment? If not why not? Why to look nutrition as narrow or having no role in corrective course of action. If yes then please make a video?
2. Your statement that cancer cell doesn't feed on sugar instead it feeds on all nutrition. Then the question arises - is there any scientific study which have ruled out the sugar role in cancers?
Actually sidhu's point was more towards that cancer cell consume energy more from sugar or carbohydrates. If sugar and carbohydrates can be avoided then these cells will assume to get less energy. I don't know if any such study exists. If not then it should be.
3. If modern line of treatment can be so effective then it should have better results at that stage . Then why not to combine these nutrition suggestions in cancer treatment as protocol and then assess the impact?
4. Sugar has definite role if not then why PET Scan use FDG? Can you tell how many oncologist asked their patients to stay on such dietary restrictions strictly as essential part of treatment and why don't they think it is important ? I know this is single case but you tube full of such miracles then why not join forces to achieve better result. Autophagy stage(Noble prize findings) has known to impact cancer then why you say it just good for health and not for cancer.

I am a social scientist in denmark and know th problem of divergent views in society..you are wrong and I am right....However social science says scientifically that there can be multiple ground truth at same time. So you both can be right and also both can be wrong at same time.
Therefore, we need scientific evidence and studies to resolve this conflict. Hope to get answer from you on this. We can start some initiative around that.

Oh bhai open Google scolar and type your required study, there are millions of study available in the database. Instead of spending 15 mins asking to be spoonfed spends that time doing actual research by seeing peer reviewed papers on the internet.
Let me put this in simple terms- good diet, healthy eating habits and intermetant fasting are promoted by doctors for years now anyways. it's good regardless of weather you have cancer or not but if radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery not done for cancer then it's all useless. Naturopathy and aurveda have been practiced for 1000s of years but the life expectancy is highest in today's time due to introduction of modern medicine.

You are a cardiologist. Even if you were oncologist. very few of the oncologists actually know and explain how radiation, chemotherapy or surgery affects the body or what is the mechanism thought behind it to work. I'll not go into the subject right now, but you should and try to read more about it.
When you will research, you'll find all of this only destroys vital body cells, organs and important functions with a hope that it MAY kill cancer cells. One of the biggest pitfall of allopathic thinking is that it thinks cancer cells are the enemies, and the treatment would kill every cancer cell in the body which is practically impossible.
So, what can stop the growth of cancer cells and further metastasis? Simple, change the internal environment of the body that brought the cancerous growth in the first place.
In fact, these modem drugs make the situation so bad that if any cancer patient survives even after going through these poisonous and deadly modern treatments, that itself is a miracle.
And why does the cancer come back?
a. Because patient does not change their lifestyle, but the major reason is

Last, Sunday, while I watched Siddhu Paa Ji video, I instantly recalled Dr.Mahesh about his advocacy for intermittent fasting and other ingredients. I was also obviosuly impressed. However, Dr.Mahesh politely busted the illusion created in Siddhu's video, which defined cancer just as an inflamation & treating it through stopping sugar. I pray Mrs.Siddhu lives long with modern treatment and desi treament as well...!

Doctor Sahab Sidhu never said he stopped medical treatment. Along with treatment he went for diet regime. As chances of survival for 4th stage cancer with metastasis is almost negligible that is why he feels that diet has played a major role in survival of his wife. I doubt if there is even 1% chance of survival for a 4th stage cancer patient with metastasis. I feel Sidhu has a strong case to present. But he never stopped treatment. Both things must have worked.

Very true....Superb. Medical treatment helps in most of the cases but most of the people do not praise medical fraternity and their efforts. I think people with cancer and their relatives should be explained well about treatment options available to them, let them decide themselves so that they don't blame their doctor for unnecessary treatment/expenses.

I agree with Dr. Mahesh Ji & @melodiesby Jamshed 110%. One should not stop taking allopathic treatment, as the survival rate has increased due to modern medicine, with age factors also playing a role. Sidhu Paaji should have mentioned that alongside treatment trying natural remedies can also be beneficial and harmless. I understand that Sidhu Paaji might have said this with good intentions, considering his position as a public figure. There will be many questions raised about modern treatment but allopathic medicine is still the solution for many conditions. Some cancers require aggressive treatment, depending on the type. Sidhu Paaji also spoke about sugar but almost no food is free from chemicals. Most food is adulterated and no food is truly safe these days. It is concerning to think about what the next generation will face.
Let me give my own exp. My FIL was ex service man very healthy, 75 years old in 2000, good foodie. He had a small growth under his arm pits since last 10 years. But no pain, no discomfort what so ever. Some time in April 2000 my own BIL who is MBBS, MD when he saw this he took him to hospital in Bengaluru and it was declared lymp node cancer stage 4. Immediately radiation, chemo was started. Within three months his appetite has gone, lost hair, became weak and we lost him within 6 months. Here comes naturopathy in hand. Indolant cells and non indolant cells difference we should understand. Petscan can not identify indolant or non indolant cells.

It is true that Siddhu ji is not a doctor and mightbe he is not 100% accurate with what he said, but sharing his thoughts is not a crime. He never said that taking medical treatment is wrong. Also, the ingredients he used "eg. Kacchi haldi, Neem and apple cider vinegar"will never harm anyone. "Why do not we give it a try and see if this makes any difference". "Ayurveda, an indigenous ancient medical science of India, is more than 5000 years old".
A much needed effort by Dr Wadhwani, for dispelling misconceptions spread by half-baked students of WhatsApp University. Half truths, nay, quarter or even less truths from celebrities mis-lead the gullible public and can not just be dangerous, but also fatal for many hapless persons like cancer patients and their families.

What the doctor means to say is that even with best of efforts some cancer cells which might have spread to other part of body through blood or normal cells which are yet in the process of turning to cancer cell may have escaped the treatment and may proliferate and cancer may recur in any other part of body only time will tell .

Sir I agree with you for the most part. Intermittent fasting and low carb or ketogenic diet should never replace Modern medicine. However there are peer review studies suggesting that augmenting modern therapies with intermittent fasting and a strict non inflammatory ketogenic diet does produce significantly better outcomes for some (not all) types of cancers. I'm not a believer in Ayurvedic medicine but following a carefully crafted fasting and keto regimen during treatment (while ensuring sufficient intake of fluids, nutrients, vitamins and minerals) does no harm. But then I'm not a doctor
Dr Seyfried from Boston University has published many research papers on this and has dedicated his life for metabolic therapy for cancer

You cannot ignore the fact that he can have a press conference about what is essentially a personal health issue precisely because he is a public figure. He should know that, and therefore should be more responsible. There are people who follow multiple alternative paths and delay treatment, just because they have heard of such anecdotal recoveries. I too want the best for any cancer patient, and wish them a speedy recovery. But, like it or not, evidence based medicine is our best hope towards that end. It could even be Ayurveda, but unless it is clinically proven it should be taken with more than a pinch of salt.
