You've always been pretty articulate I think..Nothing wrong with your voice bruh. But I'm sure I'd feel the same way, especially with this southern drawl. 👍
Haha only problem would be that I'd have to buy another budget rig, and then all of the parts for the budget build. Idk if I have room for another truck in the fleet, haha.
@@LastLineOfDefense Mike what about doing a charity build? Maybe an XJ from a charity auction locally and the vendors could donate only budget gear? Maybe set a total budget for $X,000.00? I am thinking like $7500.00. Just an idea, keep it up man, thank you.
Always appreciate seeing you go out in the truck, the camping adventures and trips to places. Gives me an idea of what I want/need for my own truck/camping trips as well as places to go check out. The house video was really cool showing us projects and the day to day. Honestly whatever you post I'm going to watch, relatable content to my own hobbies and lifestyle.
First off I'd like to say that I really appreciate and enjoy your videos, you're informative and seem like a pretty cool dude. As a recent first time a Tacoma owner you have given me a lot to think about on how I would like to build my truck. I'd like to see another budget video but maybe category based, i.e. overlanding, camping, mudding, etc. Also I'd really like to see you goofing off in your builds showing what they can do. Finally, how could one possibly connect to test gear even if they are not an avid influencer if possible. Thank you again for what you do and be well.
The light pro looks pretty awesome !!!! Your side lights (c3) I have a pair on my plow truck for backup lights they are awesome and worth the money!!!!
Really enjoy all of your videos Mike! The wife loves watching the weekend lander videos with me on the TV. Keep the adventures and the product reviews coming. Been a supporter for several years now and just wanted to say thanks because I appreciate your videos! Would like to see a shop or garage tour video in the future! 😎
Videos about your rigs are so awesome. Seeing you build a rig from the ground up will be very cool. Really looking forward to those! Love your channel!
I got the Flex Ers 3’s because you tested them and I trust your opinions and reviews of gear. I now have to figure where to put my Squadron sports. Cool video can’t wait for the 60 walk around. Excited to see what you build up.
Man your truck is goals. If you ever find yourself driving in snow and getting the fog lights packed in snow and freezing over I highly recommend checking out the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro's or Max. They produce enough heat to keep the snow melted off which have come in handy when the snow decides to take a dump on us in WA. Crashburn80 has an incredible thread on all sorts of lights so if you haven't seen them yet, it's a good read. I warn you its a lengthy read since he constantly updates everything.
I like just watching what you do. I bought a diamondback cover for my tacoma and love it. Everyone that I've talked that see it love it too they says it looks good.
Enjoying your channel! Since you asked, I'd love to see more install videos, field tests, stuff breaking/failing, etc. I like your talking/descriptions, but seeing things in use would add a lot. For me, the best part of this 25 minute video, by far, was the last few seconds showing your lights in action! Also hope your exciting life stuff involves a growing family ;)
You should do an episode about setting up camp, start to finish, setting up a pooper, or tearing down camp start to finish. Or maybe camp recreation activities other than sitting around cooking and poundin’ whiskey.......oh wait, nvm, that’s EXACTLY what I want to do!
I’d love to see a little more of you actually doing the mods. Like doing the wiring and such. Regardless this is my favorite channel on RUclips so keep it up! I am saving money rn and in the next few years hope to buy a Tacoma and start doing some mods to it. Thanks for being an awesome person. All the love man!
I'll probably never make videos on installs because I don't enjoy doing them, so when I do, I just knock them out as quickly as possible. The thought of setting up cameras and trying to operate them when my hands are covered in filth... Just not appealing to me. Sorry!
Hey could you do a wiring video?? Basically explaining how you are running your wires for all or just your roof rack lights. I have no idea on how to do it and would appreciate it if you could share your knowledge. 👍🏽
For your chase/tailgate light you can mount it to the trailing edge of bed rack in the channels and use a bracket with rubber grommets and a wing nut to creat a friction fit.
Always enjoy your videos, i always learn alot. I have added to sets of the KC slimelines, and love them. Glad life is going well. Have a great Holiday season
Hey! Long time follower. When you start building out the new truck I'd love to see in-depth how-to installation vids. I'm pretty handy and do a lot of DIY house stuff but get nervous when it comes to putting holes in the body of my truck or figuring out the wiring for lights and stuff. I just got a Tacoma this year and the last thing I want to do is have a hole in the wrong spot or cause a fire with a bad wiring job. lol. Love the vids, keep them coming! Take care.
Kinda weird but would love to see details on your personal hygiene routine when out on the trail; what products you use, how to responsibly set up a latrine, etc. Thanks, brother! Happy Holidays.
Love the up front honesty in your reviews and super stoked that you’re able to work with such cool companies. Can’t wait to see the build videos on that undisclosed vehicle. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of mpg do you get living at elevation in CO and running the setup you do on your Tacoma?
You mentioned the new build, is there a possibility of a beginners guide/easier ways to wiring? Im not sure if this is something you've already done though.
The absolute easiest way to wire up accessories is through something like the Switch Pros system (linked in the video description) or a system that's even a little easier, but with fewer features is the Trigger Switch System amzn.to/2JrNERO
cool video I am still working on my lights and electrical and would appreciate a video on your switch pro up grade. I already have the switch just not installed yet so a heads up on tips and tricks would be awesome. keep up the good work bud
LOL, I thought I was watching a tool ad for the Home Depot. Just needed some images of a guy drilling screws into deck boards. Kidding aside, it was awesome and I'm just jealous :)
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the switchpro. After one camp trip and trying to find a dispersed site in the dark, I really need to add some more lights to the Tacoma. I have a Prinsu rack and a 40 inch bar, but that does nothing for side lighting. Also an RCI Bed rack. So I want to add ditch lights, side lights on both sides of the rack, and possibly chase lights/rear lights for dusty roads. I've seen a guy who mounted a switchpro up on the head liner bump by the sunroof controls for all the lights, and it looked pretty clean and convenient.
Another great video Mike, I’ve only been following your vids for a month or so but you definitely give out a lot of useful and interesting info, I don’t do social media so I’m a little bummed about what I’m missing over there, but such is life. Keep up the awesome reviews and content. I’d be interested in knowing more about what training courses you’ve taken and found “really” useful and informative as far as weapons training, survival and first aid. Anyway thumbs up man
Nice vid men!! Thanks for all the data. Could you please, and i know some people will argue to not, but make one explaining some "how to wire my truck" with u know, some tips, tricks, recomendations, products, etc. Could be a technical video? Just an idea. Thanks again!
Love the channel, I live in a snowy environment and am starting an overland build. I want to incorporate amber lighting, and was wondering if you could put together a quick video showing how lighting performs in snow?
You should mount DCBright Piranha's on there. Bet you have more light with 2 of those than with the 8 of these. Mounting 4 of them on my ranger in the upcomming week ill post a video about it. Definitly more value for the money
Stoked to see the FJ60 build and the Diamondback build. How about a boot/shoe review? Hopefully the new life changing news is you and Ash are pregnant? Anyway, thanks for the upload.
I love your videos. The content is top notch. My only complaint is the new camera set up seems to have a lot of jello shutter or ibis stutter that is a bit distracting when you are using it handheld.
Any videos on the difference between rooftop light bars and the KC round lights?? I’m new to the overland community and I’m doing my research on how to build my truck
Awesome video man, I am looking to upgrade the lights on my truck here soon so this was super helpful. I think a nice change would be if you could give out prices to as many things as you can, just to give us all a better idea of what these things cost atleast at that time. I know prices change but you could also use it to push for your coupon codes like "insert item cost 100$ normally but with my code it's 85$". Just an idea, it always bothers me when people don't put out prices. Great video though, keep up the good work :)
Mike do you like Forsake footwear? Give Infinite Offroad a look for lights before you pull the trigger on cyclones!! Gonna try some Revolution Race pants here soon and can't have a bad day with some Stance socks on!
@@ashventure1903 dang that's a bummer! I must have had 6 or 7 pairs now but only 1 was even close to uncomfortable, the rest are amazing. Use the Stance socks Ash lol.
I’ve always wondered if you have ever encountered any wild animals while you camp? I feel like animals can smell your food and are curious about it and I know your a gun guy as well and probably carry while you guys go camping for safety and such but what would you do or carry for those situations?!? I think you can make a camp safety video lol
I run KC on my CJ5, but to tell you the truth KC Pro 6, and FC Flex lights combined for my Ram would run close to 5k. I would lean more towards a more affordable option this time around.
I recently added a light bar to my bull bar on the front of my 2017 Tacoma...how exactly would I route my wire into the cap without drilling thru the cab/firewall? Or is there a way to do that? I enjoy watching your videos and getting ideas from you! Thank you!!!
Just added a set of Pro6 driving pattern to the front bumper of my Gladiator. Not going to lie though, I was pretty disappointed in the output. I’m hoping the Flex Era 3s I have ordered won’t be so disappointing
Trail markings and navigation. I've been reading trail maps lately, and some of the nav can get a bit advanced. What/how do you plan a trip, and keep on track?
Haha makes plenty of money, just gets really redundant making the same video over and over and over again. I needed a break, but I'll be back, don't worry. ;)
Hi Im new to overloading and your channel is a great help. Anyway, I just want to get your honest opinion whether the KC Hilites gravity pro 6 which you're using is producing so much wind noice when you run at a certain speed.. I'm planning to have one.
Oh I'm having a Thanksgiving sale also on my website - llod.us/ - code "THANKS" gets 10% off belts, gear, holsters, etc.

Hope your going do more guns and gear reviews.

You could maybe do a budget gear episode ? Lights, racks, tents, air compressors etc.
Yes... my overall ideal taco build is $20,000 but I can’t just spend that money. But essentials for a beach/mountain off road getaway
Yea a budget video would be awesome!
Haha only problem would be that I'd have to buy another budget rig, and then all of the parts for the budget build. Idk if I have room for another truck in the fleet, haha.
