The Venture Green Star is sweet. The titanium and green dial look amazing together, and I really like lightweight watches. I know which one I'd keep!

The colours really work well together.

Great video! The boldr Antarctic caught my attention a couple of months ago. Couldn't really find any review videos on this, so took a gamble and bought it anyways. No regrets whatsoever. Agree with you on the dial. It's beautiful under the sun.
It's one of the watches I find myself reaching out to at least once a week. Looking forward to seeing your full review.

It has really grabbed my attention too. I love the dial and hands combo and just how it feels in hand and on wrist.

Hi James, i bought the antarctic Voyage about a month back and it's a keeper, great quality and specs a real tool watch built like a tank and as you say the dial is very special.

Both look great. Tough call on which to keep 😁👍

They are both really nice but I’m leaning towards the Antarctic. Probably because I just prefer stainless steel.

Boldr watches are fantastic! Imo a tad over priced but they sell em for the price because they are quite good! Congrats on the collab!

      I’m really enjoying them both.

Over priced? Really? I started looking for an automatic no-date watch, that didn’t look overly tooley, working down from the unobtanium Explorer, to Tudor Ranger, to Hamilton Khaki, and all stops in between. I came across the Boldr Antartica and was blown away by the specs, 200m water rating, saphire crystal. Compared to what it is competing against it seems pretty fairly priced to me.

Boldr makes some lovely watches, I have the Singularity and wear it often. The screws on the bracelet are very small, I mauled up and stripped multiple of them trying to size the bracelet on mine, maybe a point for them to improve on future watches. Beyond that, I've tried multiple of their other straps and they're all lovely, and got one of their pocket knives too and it's excellent in hand. Very good brand.

I’m impressed so far and am looking forward to wearing both of these

The Voyage Antarctic would be awesome with a miyota 9039. Imagine it being 2mm slimmer

I love dive watches but if i had to choose between these two, i would keep the Antarctic. There is justt something about it that makes it stand out more.

Lovely watches, if it was up to me think I would keep the green one. Not that I'm into knifes but they have some very cool ones on their website with a lot of good looking watches. Great find 😀

They're both fantastic watches, great dials on both of them, the case shape of the Green Star is really different in a good way. Have to say I really like those watch cases and if you don't use it to hold the watch, it could double up as a carry case for your mini donut!

    • @WATCHingJames
      @WATCHingJames  Год назад +2

      Hahaha yes they could.
I’m leaning towards the Antarctic. I love the hands and just the feel of it overall.

I prefer the Boderry field watch to Boldr, now that Boderry mostly has the NH35. Similar fun and specs for like a quarter of the price. When the recession hits I think most microbrands will fold.

    • @WATCHingJames

That Boderry does look really good. And with the change in movement it makes a lot of sense.
