    It’s a great watch. I know their watches are well made, but they are definitely skirting the line of affordability. Thanks for the great review as always.

      It is a really nice watch. The price is definitely a little higher than some
      Competitors.
      But when you have it in hand you realise how well it is made and the price makes a lot more sense.

    I love that petrol blue dial and the lume that fits well with it. I've stopped thinking of it as fauxtina and more of just a well put together colour match.
    Also, as being new to the hobby, I had similar thoughts on high(er) priced NH movement watches but now see that there's more to it than just that aspect. Fairly cheap, reliable and bullet proof movement that allows brands to pack in other features. It would be nice if they regulated them closer to +/-5s a day though, surely can't be hard to do in a dial up and crown down position

      That is a great way to look at watches. I am finding that my exploit pricing can be dramatically distorted due to the amazing low prices of some microbrands and AliExpress.
      So I am trying to look at each watch individually and see how I feel about them.

    Hi James. I haven’t caught one of your videos for a while and I really like the changes you’ve made. Your opening and ending sections are great. Love the new environment and lighting, and as always very well said and put together. Keep it up buddy. 👍👍

      It has been a great watch. I love seeing the dial when the light hits it. Really makes that colour pop.

    Really nice watch! I was looking at the Boldr voyage and the Boldr Venture. Definitely thinking about getting one. James my wife gifted me a Circula Ptotrail automatic watch for my birthday. I love it. I never heard of the brand but it’s a beautiful watch . I believe it’s a German made watch company. It has Sellita SW 200-1 Elaboré Grade movement and it’s really well made. I really love the looks and the feel of this watch. Have you ever heard of this brand . Would love to get your thoughts on this brand. God bless and take care.

      I had not heard of them. They look great. I really like German watches. They seem to make great quality and good looking pieces.

    I can't make sense of that case back image at all. Is that someone wearing a Roman helmet dunking a wasp nest under the water?

      I’ve had the same thought. It is not the most obvious image.

    I like everything about it except that thickness, the case is just too bulky for my taste. Very handsome dial though.

      You summed up my thoughts exactly 👍. I have an Invicta 1953 that is 14+mm thick and it it lets that watch down, at £100 I can live with it, but not at £350.

    • @WATCHingJames
      @WATCHingJames  Год назад +2

      You do notice the thickness a bit on wrist which is a little disappointing. But the bracelet balances it well so it sits great on wrist.

  • @sivanstar

    I really like boldr designs but i think their watches are overpriced.
    I know its not the best thing to compare between brands but you can get a zelos for far less money and as of microbrands i think zelos are well made and priced accordingly. You can even get a helm for far less..

    • @WATCHingJames
      @WATCHingJames  Год назад +2

      Im getting confused with pricing and my expectations of pricing.
      When you compare watches with AliExpress or micros it makes many feel over priced.
      But then I think about watches from Rolex or other luxury brands and see how they are priced.
      All very confusing

      @@WATCHingJames whatever you feel is ok, should be alright. At the end it's your money and opinion that counts..

    when is it expensive for a watch with a selitta 200 😉 always hear that a nh 35 max must cost 350 dollars

    • @WATCHingJames
      @WATCHingJames  Год назад +1

      I find pricing a little bit confusing. I think it is because my expectations have been distorted by AliExpress and microbrands.
      So instead I am trying to look at each watch individually and see how it feels to me.

      What are you using to listen to it?
      I ask because I’ve been putting a lot of effort into the sound.
      A professional microphone and a custom build sound dampened studio.
      I am still trying to improve the sound. But not as easy as it sounds. (No pun intended)
